`Dante Moreover, if you're going to use an ellipsis in your posts, please try and limit it to 1. If you end a sentence with an ellipsis, you must have 4 periods to designate proper punctuation. "Why" you ask? Well, the ellipsis is counted as a single punctuation itself and doesn't count as a period. It's more of a comma or semicolon, and its main purpose is only meant to designate a long pause.
(...)
Oh. Noted. 3nodding I don't think I would learn half of these things at school.

"Why" you ask? Well, the ellipsis is counted as a single punctuation itself and doesn't count as a period. It's more of a comma or semicolon, and its main purpose is only meant to designate a long pause.(Green = proper use)"I pulled the lever... but nothing happened.""The rain will never stop...."Take note of the forth period at the end."I saw her... she looked nice... I wish I had that kind of hair...."Even though this is properly punctuated, it's still wrong. If you've had a tracheotomy in the past and talk in broken sentences through your voice box, that's your business and it's not your fault. However, don't bring the speech impediment to forum posts, it's just not necessary."That summer, my grandfather died..."Close, but no dice. Notice the 3 periods at the end. They only count as the long pause, not the end of the sentence. Just remember that: Even though there are 3 periods, they still count for s**t when you want to end the sentence. That has to be the most useless post I've seen today.

Here is the original flame I wanted to use in my application, but it was too long, so I had to use a different, shorter one. In a thread entitled '*~Pool Party~*', curiousmonkey113 hey this is a pool party hosted by me. *giggle* lil_pooky_247! have fun everyonme! My Response Let me educate you. This is not a pool party hosted by you. This is another peice of completely and utterly mundane crap hosted by someone who has no imagination whatsoever. The fact that no matter how often people make this same stupid thread, people will always show up baffles me. Maybe it shouldn't. I mean, you couldn't even get your own name right, Monkey, Pooky, Darth Maul, or whatever you want to call yourself. Everyonme? Did you mean everyone on me, like some sort of sexual jest? Why can't you people come up with something more interesting than just a pool party. Why don't you guys just make a pool massacre thread? There are plenty of idiotic teens in horror movies, and you could take all the stuff you say and write an awful awful script. I would even be so kind as to play the killer. I would enjoy it. Quite a lot.

Hi all,
I'm new to the guild but not to gaia. I've been huddled in corners trying to earn gold without actually touching anything or anyone.
Can I just say how much I love you guys??? I'm a bit afraid of you but I bow to your greatness.
A warning though, I sometimes lapse into Bawlmerese (it's what people in Baltimore speak) and it looks grammatically incorrect but, let me assure you, it is fully compliant with local vernacular.
I do, however, require translation for any words that have numerals in them.
Um, oh yes, and I'm a terrible typist but accept smacking with grace and dignity. One thing I have noticed is that I seem to have developed some weird homynym problem of late. I think it's the result of too much diet coke.

Krivin Yes, Aryu. Diet sodas do indeed do it me. If someone went straight to this page and saw that comment, it would seem so wrong. But not in a perverted way. Nope. Not at all. No way.
Oh, and diet sodas are evil in a can. Or bottle. 3nodding
