My first Dir en grey song was Garden. I didn't really like it much to begin with, but it kinda grew on me.

AtsushiisSATAN The songs that really got me into them was hotarubi and Wake. I absolutly loved the violin part and since I play violin, I figured out the notes, and now I can play it biggrin anyway, yeah. Wake is one of my favourite songs ever. I study japanese right, but I was wondering..is the name pronounced way-ke or wah-kay ? because..>.> I really can't tell! It's "Wah-kay".
Actually, to be a little more precise, it's pronounced "Riyuu"... not really, it just shares the same kanji, as in the symbol for "Riyuu" is the same as that of "Wake". But since you study Japanese, you probably know it. It means "Reason".
And just for anyone who wishes to know, "Raison d'Etre" is French for "Reason of being".

I'm a grammar nazi. x_X Would anyone happen to know what 'Higeki wa me futa wo oroshita yasashiki utsu' means? And have I got all the words in the right order? I'm just typing it off the top of my head, so.....

I don't remember the name. But it repelled me from listening to the band because it didn't sound good. Umbrella changed all of that. <33

The first song I ever heard was The Final.Oddly I had never heard their music before or seen the band I had only heard of them and not appearance either and I knew somehow it was them so either I'm destined to listen to Dir en grey or I'm crazy.
