Hello biggrin
I'm Trinity Alex and I'm new here.
Favorite Author: HP Lovecraft
Favorite Book: In The Flesh by Clive Barker

I'm mostly into HP Lovecraft or Clive Barker but I used to be into Stephen King and Dean Koontz in my early years going into the horror genre. I'm getting into other authors like John Grisham and James Patterson, I really love America: The Book (The Daily Show! whee ). I've been a reader since I was little and actually I'm a writer too. I have a habit of collecting tons of books I will never read but I have a plan to get rid of the excess. I also read manga occasionally.

Hi, I'm OliviaFalconer. I'm a children's librarian. My favorite books are mostly science fiction and fantasy (currently reading Storm Front by Jim Butcher and Deliverer by C.J. Cherryh), though I read a lot of children's books as well (for obvious reasons). A smile for anyone who can figure out my username.

Greetings one and all! my name, as you can see, is Red_moon_wolfess you can call me RMW or Wolfess or Red moon, whatever you prefer.

lets see... favorate books? Honestly the only one that comes to mind is my first "chapter book" from when I was little. "Jermy Thatcher, dragon hatcher" by Bruice Covall, if it wasn't for him I wouldn't be here today. So kudos to him for getting me to read! blaugh My favorate auther would have to be a fight between DJ. Machale or Bruice Covall, I know I will outgrow DJ. Machale someday, but for now I still look forward to his final book (( coming out soon! blaugh )). So in the long run it's Bruice Covall for the win!

Hello, my name is Holly.

I love books too much to have a favorite.

I'm Ksenia. I'm 16. I play bassoon in sit down band; yes it's in the same family was the bagpipe and no it's nothing like the bagpipe. Don't ask me that. >.> I play flute in marching band. I play a bunch of other instruments. Let's not go into that now. As you can see, I like music a lot. I listen to almost everything with the exception of rap and country. One time a 60 year old lady told me I listen to old people music. Lerner and Loewe are amazing lady, AMAZING. I like rock, jazz, classical, blues. Note, the blues aren't always sad. Blues uses blue notes or seventh. Just like to clear that up. Most people don't know why it's called blues. ^_^

What else do I like. I love literature. In fact, I even have a Shakespeare action figure. It's like the coolest thing ever. So, stick a good book in front of me and we'll be friends forever. My current financial status is 55 cents in pennies. Saving up to go see Pirates of the Carribean 3. I wish my parents would give me money. T-T

I really like Hugh Laurie. I've had a crush on him seen I was eight. I know kinda creepy that he has kids my age but we could work it out. XD I think Blackadder is amazing. Laurie is in that. The first season sucks though. It makes fun a British lit. and culture in different parts of history.

I really wanna be a history teacher when I grow up. Partly because I really love history and I want others to love it too and partly because I have a super-hero complex and I need to save people. I figure the best way to maybe get through to someone is by teaching.

What else, what else - I think I like the internet because I usually feel weird about talking about personal stuff. Here no one knows me and if they don't like me, we'll never see each other again.

I really like typed smilies. As you probably already saw, with all the T-T, XD ^_^, ._. etc.

So, that's me in a nut sell.

Hello! My name's Rebecca, and I'm 13 years old. I actually joined a little while ago, but didn't exactly post... sweatdrop

I plan to either become an author, mostly because I have an overactive imagination which causes me to think up wild ideas for stories, or to become a english/reading teacher.

I LOVE anime and manga. Right now, in anime, I've been watching Prince of Tennis. Don't underestimate it just because it's a sports anime/manga. It's actually very funny, addicting, and a downright great anime to watch.

I also like music, mostly Japanese. Lately I've been listening to Akeboshi, which is the band that played the eding songs 'Wind' and 'Yellow Moon' for Naruto. In other terms, I play trumpet in my school band, and the harp in private lessons. I also play the piano in my spare time, teaching myself. And sometimes, just because, I pull out my recorder from 3rd grade.

And, of course, just like everyone else in this guild, I LOVE to read.

I have WAY too many favorite books...If I listed them all, you'd probebly fall asleep. sweatdrop BUT! Right now one of my favorite series is the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series.

I don't exactly have a favorite author either (There're just too many good ones!), but I do like Rick Riordan and Cornelia Funke.

I tend to like Fiction a WHOLE lot better than Non-fiction, particularly fantasy, sci-fi, and mystery. I have been getting into historical fiction and other stories that aren't fantasy/sci-fi/mystery, thanks to my English teacher.

By the way, If anyone wants some reccomendations for good books, you can look in my journal. I put the title, author, picture, and summary of the books I've read since I started it. I also put a rating (based on my opinion, of course), of 1 to 5. Thay're almost all pretty good books, so I suggest you check some of them out! ^-^

Also, just for extra info, right at the moment I'm reading the third book in the Children of the Lamp series, which is also a good series. I highly reccomend you check it out.

Bye-bye! xd

My brother is also interested in Prince of Tennis. I've been hearing so much about it, I may have to look into it myself.

Heyo, I'm -_gekreuzigt auf dir_-...I really don't know how you can shorten that, but anyway it's German.

I have too many favorite books, but my most recent is Jonathon Strange & Mr. Norrell! biggrin Favorite authors include Brian Jacques (met him, awesome man!), Amelia Atwater-Rhodes, and many more that I can't seem to recall at the moment. sweatdrop

My mom's a librarian and I'm the process of becoming one...I take the library media class, which means that I pretty much help run the library for my high school.

Hello! I'm DevonyEvony, though you can just call me Devon. I just turned 17. Huzzah for birthdays!

My favorite authors are Charles de Lint and Holly Black. As for my favorite books, well... sweatdrop I'll try to make this short. The Phantom of the Opera by Gaston Leroux (my copy's starting to fall apart), Hawksong by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes, and Firebringer by David Clemente-Davies. Right now I'm reading Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. So many of my friends wanted me to read it, so I finally bought a copy. It's great so far!

I think this guild is perfect for me... I'm the girl who sits at home memorizing Shakespeare's sonnets because I'm bored. I'm a writer, too, and trying to write a book with my english teacher. I just have to find that one idea I can take by the hand and run with. heart Ooh, and I'm always happy to make a friend or two (or ten). 4laugh
