I'll read it tomorrow morning, maybe. Tonight I'm going to a "Jump, Little Children" concert in Charleston and tomorrow I'm going riding on my parent's boat out to watch the fireworks. xd

Tay Lorien I didn't want to post in that thread because it seemed too long as it was. i feel like i want to erase that thing. no one seems to appreciate it. does anyone know how rare it is to read it in english? i'll tell you: in all my travels looking up sailor moon these 12-some years i've been a fan, i've only found scans of parallel sailor moon once, and a full translation once. in fact, the majority of the moonie community (when asked) didn't know what the heck i was talking about! so, you are very very very very lucky to be LOOKING at scans of parallel sailor moon, much less READING IT IN ENGLISH. as far as i've seen (and i've seen FAR) this is the only existing english parallel sailor moon.

You misunderstand my comment, although I did notice other people were knocking it. I had just heard of it not long ago, so I was somewhat prepared for it. My saying the page is long is just stating the obvious, because any scanlation will be long. I meant it in the way of saying "isn't the scanlation enough for the thread (and end it there), so people should comment elsewhere?"
Anyways, I enjoyed it, except... naturally, the way the made a certain fav character of mine act stuck up.

cohchotheempress Tay Lorien I meant, did they have/use their transformations during the silver millennium? Or were they merely doing the jobs described in that post, and not being senshi. Also, if Beryl was human, were there youma and other things from the dark kingdom/negaverse during that time, and if so, who led them (only metallia)? My rpg book is based on the show, and it says that Beryl led them. But that wouldn't make sense if Beryl was from Earth. they were senshi. remember, this is after all that with sailor galaxia sealing chaos within her. i'm not sure if the people of the silver millenium/earth/the scouts in the silver millenium knew about the senshi wars...if they did, maybe not fully? not clear on thier knowledge of that. but, they were senshi and they did have thier powers, being the protectors of thier planets. i believe the senshi did have thier uniforms on at all times. at least, in the manga they are protrayed as such. in the anime, i recall seeing some pictures of them in white uniforms...hmm...it depends on which one you choose to use. if you are leaning towards the manga more, then use the uniforms they have in thier transformations. oh, and i know that the senshi are older than the princess during the silver millenium, though i don't know by how much. in super s #4 of the manga the senshi appear to be about 5-8 years old when the princess is just a baby. i know that the outer senshi (uranus, neptune, pluto) are all older than the inner senshi, who appear to be about 12 years old. the three outer senshi were also appointed castles at thier births, and the castles each have names (look in i think StarS #1 or #2 for these names and how the castles look), by the princess's mother. everyone in the silver millenium called the princess "the princess", except the queen who called her serenity. Beyrl had seven warriors who were youma. These warriors were used in O season, and were sealed into the seven rainbow crystals. Now, i'm not clear on whether the seven rainbow crystals were the silver crystal (ginzuishou) split into seven scattered to be born into people, or if these reborn people/cat were the seven warriors reborn and were awakened by zoicite's dark crystal and turned into thier true forms by the spirits sealed within the crystals, or what. in the manga, the ginzuishou was one crystal, the sacred crystal of the moon. it was used in the moon wand to give it more power, a means of being able to focus one's control over the crystal to use it more focused for specific things like healing. it was born within the next queen, passed on from the queen before her. it was not meant to come out i think, only at specific traumatizing times, like when the silver millenium collapsed and the queen used it in the wand to seal the seven youma into the rainbow crystals and to seal metallia into the ginzuishou. the queen tells sailor moon in manga #3 that maybe the queen's original seal on metallia was too weak and that she escaped. beyrl did have those seven youma. she also had the four knights who protected the prince of earth. i don't know if the knights were from earth or not. or maybe they were his brothers turned advisors because the prince was destined to be king...in book #2 or #3 they did say there was more than one prince... when metallia came to earth she convinced beyrl somehow that the moon kingdom was evil, and so beyrl, with metallia's help, convinced the people of earth that the moon kingdom was evil. this created unrest, so therefore no one on earth except the prince wanted the moon kingdom to survive so there was no uproar when beyrl attacked the moon kingdom with metallia. beyrl had convinced the four knights that protected the prince to side with her, and these four knights helped to destory the moon kingdom with the famous shields and swords as seen on a particular card in the ccg. they already disapproved of the prince seeing the princess and claimed he was becoming too involved with the moon kingdom. beyrl served as a general of sorts in the actual attack and battle. it's also important to know about queen nephrenia. read super S #4 of the manga and watch Super S season and the first part of StarS season for info. 3nodding i haven't thought nearly as long and as hard as i have about queen nephrenia's involvement as i have about the moon kingdom part. whether you tie her in in your story or not is up to you 3nodding now that i think, metallia may have come to beyrl because she was jealous of the love between the princess and the prince, beyrl wanting the prince's love. metallia may have seen it as a good tactic to grow the jealousy to hatred. i think beyrl may have been the daughter of a high standing person in earth society as well, like maybe even a general? oh, knowing about the shrine of earth where helios and the shrine menards live (where the earth kingdom was, elysion) would help you a lot with knowing about the earth kingdom part 3nodding . so, it's good to read all of super S as well. in manga #9 there is info about the appearence of sailor saturn and such during the silver millenium. Here are the KNOWN facts. Yes, the senshi had transformations back then, but if they had powers the same as in the first series is unknown. The only real 'weapon' that WAS assuredly in the silver millennium was the holy sword venus used in the manga. (I'm going to focus more on the manga stuff but I won't rule out the anime either. I'll try and say which of each I"m referring to each time). Beryl was not definitely human, but it was hinted at that she was. In the manga it is blatantly stated that she was in love with Endymion, thus the searing hate for Serenity which would make Beryl even more easily manipulated by Metallia. They KNOW that metallia had something to do with sunspots and originated there, where she was previously sealed before the meteor shower that left her in the antarctic. It is also known that the four generals of the dark kingdom were once endymions gaurd, who the senshi fell for. It is NOT KNOWN (I repeat this because people mix it up so much) which general each senshi fell for. There are hints at the pairings between venus/kunz jupiter/neph mars/jed merc/zoi but the only 'proof' to that is one picture naoko drew, which was probably not meant to mean anything really. Serenity was in training to become queen when the moon kingdom was attacked...dunno if that matters but... The whole thing with nepherenia should be self-evident. She cursed serenity as a baby and was sealed inside a mirror by the queen selenity. I'm not sure on this one; someone either refute me bout this or back me up...but another interesting point is that when the moon queen sealed metallia and sent everyone the future...I THINK she used 'moon healing escalation' ...I could be wrong though. It was either that or cosmic moon power. (This is now anime btw) And I'm really too lazy to go dig up the movies... Another thing to facter in is this is around the same time that galaxia had just sealed chaos inside herself and was starting her sailor wars rampage across the galaxy. EDIT: In the ANIME; the senshi definitely had the same attacks back then. In the manga it was unkown. Gah and no WAY the age gap between the age of the senshi and serenity that big. They were NOT protrayed to be as old as chibi-usa was...so I have doubts that they could have had anymore than a five year gap. Probably closer to 3 or 4 judging on naoko's pictures. Hope some of that helps.
