((Hah! That'll teach me to keep better care of my pronouns from now on! xd Altough I probably meant someone completely different and the names just all bleed together for me for some reason eek ))
"Actually, I have business with him, are you aware of the status of the temple since the attack, or have you not had a chance to recive the news?: I've been dispatched to retrive a book taken from the relliquary, along with a number of others who also came to Triel's aid. We leave tomorrow morning."
He rubbed at his eyes with the back of his forarms, his words before were a mistake, and an obvious one. Perhaps he was suffering from fatigue? If so it would probably be best if he would stand down in his attempts to help the wounded, the last thing they need is for some near punchdrunk healer to sew them up with a rag still inside of them, or somesuch.

" twisted Okay, I'm not gonna be healed by that guy. twisted " twisted And yes, I do know that I said that out loud twisted " twisted *sigh* Hello, my name is Faust and I am here to provide for whatever good it may do, I am here to provide some relief to these poor citizens of this village. twisted " Saying all that in a rather monotonous voice twisted ." Ignoring how they respond to his presence, Faust proceeds to administer aid to the injured.
(Heal 8+4=12, readies to use disrupt undead for healing purposes, Blood, how did I do on my knowldge check on whether or not said unknown, colonizing, unground beings were drow?)

Ahirman and Bearpaw are not with the group at the house yet, they are at a shelter helping the injured. I do not know what skill you would want to attempt, you have no real information on the people you are looking for, but would know of the general drow race most likely, and that they live in the Underdark. A burrow could mean a cave or underground dwelling.

I will go with you, I must head home to meet Deerhunter. I knew he was waiting, but did not realize how important it was." He leads you back to his home. Now back to everyone else:As you eat and talk, the door suddenly opens after a single knock. In strides a large man, dressed in an assortment of furs with a long, grizzled black beard and a holy symbol of Meilikki around his neck. Ahirman is right behind him. Bearpaw walks up to Deerhunter. " What is this I hear about The Book?". Deerhunter introduces you to Bearpaw, then explains to him about the missing book and your group's mission.

Kyte noticed someone walk into the house. She decided to return, having had enough of fresh air for the moment. She entered just as Deerhunter introduced Bearpaw, and sat down again to listen to the conversation. Having already heard part of this, Kyte let her mind drift a little.
Looking around while this was going on, she noticed someone was missing. I wonder where Dimitri has gone to...

BloodOnWhitePetals What is this I hear about The Book?". Deerhunter introduces you to Bearpaw, then explains to him about the missing book and your group's mission. (Like the new outfit, Blood 3nodding ) Navon finishes up his soup as Deerhunter is talking, looking around for a hankercheif or napkin of some sort before carefully whiping his lips with his sleeve. Not that there was anything there, but better safe than sorry. "Indeed" He says, as he pushes aside his bowl "Finding this book should be a grand quest. Using it seems to be discouraged, due to the nature of its magic, but it shall be interesting to study it on the way back to town. I have more than a passing interest in the how and why of magic, though the device itself matters far less to me than the knowlege that might be gathered from it... Its a happy coincidence that I will be able to slay some law breaking scum and prevent some evil along the way as well, of course. Ahem."

Getting up slowly, Brendon bows to the new comers. Taking his seat and listening to the talk for a bit, Brendon once again stands up, but this time bows to their hostess and heads toward the door. Turning back only slight, " ninja This talk is important. Master must here the rest of it. I'm going to go get him. ninja " Massaging his wrist a bit and crackling the bones from the fingers to the wrist, he takes a step outside. No more than a minute, Brendon opens the door and enters. " ninja He's coming now. ninja "

I stand up, looking at the rest of the group before speaking "I honestly don't believe any of us should look through this book. If it is as powerful as it sounds, it is best those that the book was stolen from look in the book. None of us really knows the other, and so we don't know anyone's intentions. I am not trying to accuse or mistrust anyone, but I have known or heard of plenty who were corrupted by power. Our job is to bring the book back to it's rightful owner, not study the book."

Ahirman steps aside to get out o Brandon's way as he steps aside, with an audible yawn, he spoke, adding himself to the conversation. "I agree, we shouldn't read though the book if we obtain it. Besides, who knows wat safeguards it would have agaisnt tampering if it really is that important?"

Did I *cough* miss anything? sweatdrop " I'm gonna hafta cut down on the smoking. Hafa pack a day, no more than one pack. "Nothing of great import" said Navon, smiling faintly and sitting stiffly in his chair "Merely a difference of opinion... I was saying that it might be a good idea to study the book, some others disagreed, and they brought up several very good points such as the possibility of the book being warded that I will have to carefully mull over. I think it unlikely that I will insist on studying it, beyond making sure that it is what we think it is and none of its magics will blast us just for touching it, that is." Of course his main mission compelled him to inspect the book regardless, if it was written in imaskarri or had connections to the shadow weave, but both of these were remote possibilities indeed... Navon rather wished he could tell the others, actually, but his mission came first. A shame, really, but as it should be.

"If *puff* the book is of *cough*such importorance," finally catching his breathe rather than sounding like a dead man (ironic),"Why don't we, the arcanists of the party, place spells on the book. Yeah, first we decide on who shall guard the book, then the magic users each place a different magic on it, randomly to guard against the others. OR we can burn it, seal the ashes in an magically seal/protected jar and throw into the deepest body of water we can find, not necessarily in that order. That last part guarentees that no body can ever use the book for evil ever again 4laugh ." Tapping on Dimitri's shoulder lightly, Brendon's shifts from side to side a bit, as if shaking his head in disapproval. " ninja No one will be able to use the book for good either. ninja " "Oh confused , guess that would cause a bit of inconvience to those that are under the benifit of the book. Say, what good has this book done for people?"

Deerhunter responds, "Well, noones ever used The Book before. We have all learned that when Moonwind warns you not to do something, you don't question it. I believe it is a book of evil magic she has been entrusted to guard. If there was a way to destroy it, I am sure a cleric as powerful as she is would have done it by now."
Bearpaw also chimes in, "You had better get some rest now, so you can head out as early as possible." He heals any wounded party members and settles into one of the mat beds, as do Deerhunter and Clawmanner after cleaning up and taking the bowls to the kitchen. Apparently those are the only rooms in the house.
