(Once I hit 40 posts I need to begin sparring other benders, would you guys be up to helping me? I could get all the fights out of the way in one easy swing. Water, Air, and Earth. and it'll help anyone else trying for [MB] -8 )

A shot of embarrassment coursed through his veins turning his face scarlet, "well fine, ill be sure next time not to tell you what's wrong with me" he said in an oddly irritable, and out of character huff. Fulgar wondered what was wrong with Zhin, he hadnt been talking much, or doing much at all, he made the quick decision to ask about it. "Oi, Zhin, what's the matter? You aint spoken very much." He hoped his probing wasnt going too far.

Fulgar brought his scythe to his shoulder again, it rested on the cotton fabric of his black shirt, the weight hit his bone with force and he waited for a long while for the pain to subside. Their host seemed to be rather irrate while he tried to make small talk with them. He asked the trio about their bending. Zhin began to talk about his abilities, he was ready to spring into the conversation if Zhin wasnt giving himself enough credit. He was, after all, the best earthbender in Omashu.

After doing what was needed to get the rooms prepared for the strangers she ventured to the kitchen to gather a basket of food for the weary travelers. She couldn't help but chuckle at the shocked look they gave her. That 'what are you still doing her' type look. She simply gave a smile and went on her merry lil way of collecting finger foods for the strangers and placing them in a wicker basket that was usually kept with the swarm of other baskets for such occasions.

Once done she had Guardian carry her back towards the strangers, leaving the feline's nose to lead the way. Humming thoughtfully along the way she balanced the basket on a ball of air, circulating it between her slender hands almost as if juggling it but oh so careful not to spill it. Once she spied the people from afar she stopped the playful anthics quickly.

She smiled to the female of the trio, letting her know that her words had been heard. She waited for a few moments before having Guardian bring her up to the 'leader' of the trio, Fulgar, and the basket was offered.

"Your rooms are prepared and one of the women from the clothery said that she will need to see the item in question if you wish to it be duplicated." Meaning his jacket of course.

Snow drifted down from over head, clouds as dark as soot when airbender wandered back to them to tell them their rooms were ready, and that to get another jacket the seamstress would have to see the old one, a problem at best he’d left the oilskin coat about a mile down the mountain. He took hold of her basket of food with a word of thanks to her, her eyes were odd, pretty but odd one glittered with ferocity of gold. Their host told the girl that the trio was a trio of powerful benders something about the way he said it, something in his voice said that there was more than he was saying. He wanted a performance from the three, a way to show off their bending abilities. His talk was flattering but Fulgar knew enough about humility to not take such talk seriously, he was playing with them, if anything he was the powerful bender here. A bird chattered endlessly in a near by tree as he was readying himself for his words, they had to be chosen carefully, the airbender seemed to be nice enough but this waterbender sent a cold shiver down his spine.

“Powerful? No, we aren’t that powerful, but just wait we will be. Soon you’ll hear tales of the mighty earthbender Zhin, and the amazing Fire thrower, Kurai.” He told him with a fleeting smile to Zhin and Kurai. The sun was fading fast and it cast great shadows over the marble floor of the temple. It glowed when the sweet rays hit it the snow flakes melted before they hit the ground; it wasn’t quite cold enough for them, yet. Well, the waterbender wanted a demonstration of what they could do; he might as well get two things out of the way. “I’ve got to go down and get my jacket” Fulgar announced to them all. He took his scythe and handed it to Zhin “hold onto this till I get back” he told him and he handed the basket of fruit to Kurai.

Fulgar set himself up into position getting ready to get on the road, he could rocket himself there, but that would take far too long. He had to do the technique that Jonah had taught him back in Omashu, he needed to create a torrent of fire. He walked out in front of the waterbender and airbender and shut his eyes; the light was fading fast around them. Fulgar stood with the tree behind him the bird had stopped its singing he moved his arms in an odd array. Pushing and pulling his arms and moving them in circles he could feel the air around him heat up the falling snow evaporated and steamed around his body fire began to erupt around his heels. His eyes shot open as he moved the fire up around his body as high as his waist a tornado of flame was rotating round his body he was risen above his companions heads as he moved forward the fire steam rising round the spinning mass. Fulgar gained speed with it down the hill so he would find his jacket.

He’d been gone for nearly 15 minutes, the tornado of fire etched a deep cut into the earth roots and twigs remained aflame like candles. He found his coat where the trio had camped earlier. He let the fire dissipate round his heels again walking over across the hard stone. He grabbed his old coat it had dust all over it and a deep rip across the sleeve, courtesy of Kurai Ichigo.

He started the technique again the light had completely faded, he was going on back to his friends.

Her eyes turned towards Taizen as he mentioned the 'powerful' benders. First of all him even saying that was either sarcastic or his ego took a blow she wasn't sure which. She regarded the benders with a warm and friendly smile.

"It's always nice to meet other benders."

She was going to ask their names but after watching the one firebender dart off to retrieve his jacket she decided to be polite and wait. Sliding off of Guardian she brushed her clothing off. Looks like they would be sticking around the temple for a bit longer. Taizen seemed to take a real shine to the strangers. Maybe because they where another chance to better himself. Gee. He didn't even seem that happen when he realized she was a bender. Probably didn't think she was powerful..or even strong. Wow that was a kick to the kneecaps. She sighed deepily when the thought hit home and she leaned somewhat into Guardian's left wing.

Tugging on tressles of thick titian hair she looked between the two strangers. She had never met a firebender let alone two. And the earthbender..well she wasn't sure about him either. They seemed nice enough. The 'leader' seemed to know well what he was doing, a friendly disposition about him. And the girl...she seemed cheerful and outgoing..the other male though..he was quite and seemed to be giving less attention to his surroundings or those about him. Like he was zoned out..

Her attention went to Taizen who seemed almost tickled pink about the new strangers. Again she felt somewhat at ends. When he met her he was cold..had she changed him that much? Was she that huge of a influence? Or was he that excited he found someone....strong..?

(meh, the war is almost here might as well get some foreshadowing done. LCG, Humbra, and I are the only ones who know where this is going. Feel free to ask questions.)

The fire whirled round his feet once more as he made the ascent up the mountain. The solid fire beneath his feet was growing weaker; he could feel the steady shakes but paid no attention. The shakes deepened and resounded through him. He was about a stone throw from his destination when the flame gave out completely he fell to the ground cutting his leg on a jagged rock. Blood gushed from the wound the cut was wide and deep. He stood up his head was dizzy his eyes visibly flashed to a lightning blue color, he quickly blinked it away. He fell to his knees struggling up the rest of the mountain. A trail of blood left behind wherever he moved. He was losing blood quickly. He couldn’t firebend.

shivers took over his body as he convulsed he felt a deep welling rage inside him. Hatred that he’d never known, his pupils dilated and his eyes grew wide the lightning blue color slowly clouding his eyes once more. He coughed deeply dust and dried blood stuck to his bottom lip. His face was pale from the blood lost but he felt no pain. The coat to his right side he lay in the deep cut in the ground of his own making.

He lay in the dirt breathing deeply his eyes took in the scene of it all. He let out a loud and venomous scream as fire erupted from around him. The explosion of force caused the rocks to quiver and made leaves crumple.

Her head jerked when Taizen exclaimed, her attention snapping out of whatever daze she had been in. The firebender? Before she could really ask anything Taizen had already darted off. She looked at the male and female companions of the firebender before leaping onto Guardian's back.

"Come on Guardian!"

With a thud of paws Guardian turned and began run onto the sleet. Well it started out as running. After a few seconds the feline realized it couldn't run and just kind of went sliding. Felines on ice!

She heard the taizen calling "fire bender" she knew he ment fulgar. And the way his tone of voice was, she could tell something was wrong. Kurai running as best as she could to her teacher's aid. "Fu-san!" She hopped over rocks and trees. Then she came of the sleet of snow, she couldn't let this stop her. Kurai took a deep breath she hoped slightly, once landing she planted her foot deeply into ground sliding it horizontaly. Letting her air out she emitted and concentrated flames to clear a path.

Kurai followed traces as she searched for him. From broken branches or rocks with scorched marks she kept her eyes open for any signs of her teacher. "FU-SAN" She yelled his name hoping that he would respond. She paused and took a breather, kurai was yelling and running so quickly. Placing her hand on the wall to keep her balance while she took a deep breath.She felt something wet and assumed it was snow melting from her body heat. And out of the corner of her eye she saw red. "red..." Her voice going quite fearing the worst, she looked up tracing the streak of blood streaming from over ledge.

Her eyes widen, removing her hand from wall she stared at the blood smeared on her hand. Kurai shut her eyes concentrating fire to the tips of her fingers and feet. Soon bright blue flames shot from her pin pointed spots she wanted. The fire was coming out so fast and hot that it made it much easier for her to climb up the wall. She finally reached the ledge placing her arm over the edge, cutting the fire. And to her shock and dismay she saw her teacher not moving in a puddle of his own blood. "FU-SAN!!!"
Digging her nails into the dirt she pulled herself ontop. Quickly and without any time to spare she rushed to her teacher's side. "fu-san...come on wake up.." She tapped his face repeatedly trying to snap him awake. She looked over his body to see the deep cut in his leg. Maybe one of the two people she met could help him but by them time they would reach them it might be too late. Kurai removed the bandaged from her stomach, wrapping them around the wound. "WE'RE UP HERE", and with that she shot a ball of bright blue fire into the air to show where they were. "Fu-san...They'll be some help soon, so just hold on..ok!" Kurai dare not move him fearing it may worsen him in his current state.

Taizen heard the cry and lookied in it's direction, the cry was followed shortly by a brilliant blue flame, that though it was hard to see, and gave off different light than he was used to, saw where it came from all the same. "Kurai, how is he?" Taizen asked as he began the climb up, "If he's hurt I can heal him- Whats thi- Wow thats a lot of blood!" Taizen said amazed, He quickly crossed his arms across eachother and split tem apart, effectively brushing all the snow off of Fulgar. "I don't know if I can heal this..." He said slowly, trying to remove the stale blood with bending, he sucked in a breath as he saw the meat of his leg. "Thats pretty deep, you'd have to, ah, Cauterize it first, or sew it shut, or... something...!" Taizen was thinking quickly, in the cold he was liable to frostbite, and if he had been out there for some time, it was possible that he had an infection... the way he saw it, he'd have to cleanse the wound, and then seal it up... "Niima can sew!... But... She's not trained like that... And... I doubt she'd just carry thread and Needle..." "Niima! Fulgars hurt! The bleeding's stopped but he was bleeding alot!" He called out, it was dark by now, so he couldn't see her, but he hoped she heard him. "If I heal him as best I can, then maybe if Guardian carried him to the temple..." Taizen was muttering, he placed his hand in some snow, the snow clung to his hand as he raised it, it promptly turned to water as he held it over the wound. "Kurai... May I...?" He asked, it was stupid to ask, but if he tried to heal Fulgar, & failed, because of some menial detail he didn't know about, then that wouldn't be the pleasantest thing in the world... And also, he was against actually touching the open wound.

((So, can I do a light healing? I don't think Taizens adept enough to heal it perfectly... But... Well, I can't technically do anything with your character... It's not mine...))
