I'm a huge lurker/newb tp the island but I had to add an animal suggestion to the idea of the veterinary dentist... A narwhal!! ( I have no idea if I spelt that right sweatdrop )

His or her name must NOT be Jim. wink agreed! there ought to be a serum auction where the only serum availible is an inveribrate, we need more insects, Arthropods and creepy-crawlers on the island! like scolopendra gigantea, the Peruvian giant yellowleg centipede, is poisonous enough to kill a person. or maybe a Giant Isopod!

The problem is how most people (me included) don't want a 'humiliating' animal for their character. They want something cool, which is usually a mammal or reptile. Very rarely an insect or a plant...

Well I've decided I'm having a red knee tarantula I think tarantulas are cool. :3 But I agree there need to be more invertabrates.

Or at least a wider variety of more 'basic' animals, like giraffes, elephants, monkeys, etc. The things you would get if you asked a little kid what animals they know.
Like I said before, people usually tend to pick their favorite animal, or at least the closest available thing. Which means an overwhelming amount of canines, felines, etc.

Well, I was gunna suggest more birds, but since we've gotten quite a few recently, I'm gunna suggest pack mule type animals. You know, mules, donkeys, camels, and lammas. But mostly I suggest lammas because lammas are cool. Lammalammalammalammalammalaaaaaaaaaaa! biggrin

Yeah, there needs to be more herbivores and hoofed animals on the island too. (there's already a giraffe there ^^ ) Like, Okapi, Babirusa, Eland, Bongo and tapir, among others smile

-points- I was once considering a Bongo-taur as a serum quest. Because Bongos are win.
Also, I was thinking...if people like canines, why not more regular dog breeds? Avery is a Golden Retriever (or Lab, I forget right now), but any other canine is a 'feral' type.
How about an Afghan Hound-taur? Afghans are really silky-furred, pretty, but some people think they're pretty dumb XD Perfect for one of those pretty-boys or pretty-girls, even. The tauric just adds a new level of interest, although a regular is fine too. I think it's be neat to see the sight-hound instinct too.
I have another 'reglar dog' idea too, but I may use that someday, so I'm keeping it under my hat for now ninja

Do you have a problem with video game addiction? No? Well, how about a quester who's addicted to video games? Why not? There's a Clinic for video game addiction in Europe, why not have some unlucky sod get sent to a REALLY secluded 'video game addiction clinic' on the island? Extra irony points if you turn into something mythical from one of the MMOs or other video games you play. Because we need more tauren on the island. wink

have you read this? someone got a hand transplant! maybe someone either getting a similar transplant gets said hand injected with one serum, and the rest of him with another, just to see what happens!
