Danaë was about to hand the jacket back to Narx, when she noticed that he had gone outside. She was going to go and give him back his jacket when she felt heat, and shrapnel going into her back. She was in massive amounts of pain as she would fall on the ground. Pain radiated through her back. What happened? Her ears were ringing, she could see feet all around her. Some people even stepped on her back as they left, pushing the shrapnel further into her back. She cried out in pain, before unconsciousness swept her into a peaceful embrace.

Ivory was about to answer Jessica when he felt heat hit his face. He felt his aura come up, throwing him back. His back hit a wall behind him. He felt his head hit very hard. As he slipped down, he felt his aura going down. He would land on his feet as he always did. He didn't want to pass out. He stayed in his spot for a moment. He couldn't get trampled, however, the smell in the room was worrying. He would look around for Jessica, hoping that she was ok. She was the first person to actually try to get to really know him. He didn't want to loose a team mate like that. He would wait, looking for Jessica.
Pain, there was pain. All over her arms, her back, in the legs, Tessa felt it all over along with a fresh feeling of warmth and sting just about everywhere. SO she was temporarily deaf AGAIN, in significant pain, and bleeding, lovely.. Tessa looked around to get her bearings as he hearing came back , students screaming, thudding footfalls, shrieks of pain and coughing...wait that was her too. Her lungs burned as she broke into a coughing fit and rose to her full height, best to keep above whatever was making her cough but that didn't seem to be helping. With one of her sleeves Tessa covered her nose and mouth while she activated one of her gauntlets before pointing it at the ground in front of her and detonating a shell in the chamber. The force of the explosion pushed a large amount of the gas away from the faunus, allowing her time to cough several times before taking a big gulp of air , then darting around picking up anyone she could find laid out on the floor, one of which was Danae whom she was quick to scoop up, then dashed out of the nearest hole in the wall until she was far from the cloud of whatever the hell it was, and dropped the group on the grass before dropping to her knees and processing what just happened. Bombs, death, Donnelly, and pain..probably should do something about that last one. Tessa growled as she deactivated her weapon and began picking bits of shrapnel out of her body, mostly large chunks of wood including a several inch long shard of glass embedded in her side which she hissed loudly at as it was quickly removed from the wound with a 'schlick' sound. So to recap, pain, injuries, panic, Donnelly was dead, and Tessa. Was Furious. "Dead" she snarled as she stood up and turned to face the building "Whoever did this, they're dead...DEAD!!" She roared the last word, loud enough to wake the ones she had carried with her as she bared her teeth, breathing like an animal with eyes blazing with fury, she was committed to her creed. Whoever did this was going to die ...

Onyxia was about to talk to her team when the room shook. Before anything she felt herself flying across the room. Crashing into the wall she tried to stand, her knees shakey. Falling down to her knees as she tried to reclaim her balance. Before she could regain her barings Onyxia collapsed. Rearming slow as she passed out.

Jessica was flung across the room. Earring ringing, vision blurred, screams muffled from the blast. It had to have been planned. Falling to her knees and grabbing her head. She felt bad for Ivory, and with that thought she began to look for Ivory. "Ivory?!?" She looked and found her sister, crawling to check and see if she was okay. "Ivory?!?!"
xxxOne minute, Maron was having an interesting conversation with Adam about his intriguing hairstyle; the next, she had begun to pitch ideas about the hat club: All hats were welcomed, and that no one would be shamed for what kind of hat they brought through the doors- with the exception of fedoras. Following her whimsical and elaborate description of her anticipated hat club, Maron would pridefully answer Adam's question to what race she was: She was a horse faunus, a thoroughbred horse faunus. The last thing Maron said before IT happened, was: "Yah know, despite the kidnappings and all, I think the rest of the year will be easy saili-" Maron's last word was cut short by a shrilled scream of horror as she saw flames burst out from the floor.
The horse faunus covered her face away from the heat, all while pushing Adam further from the blast. By the time she looked up, hell had broken loose; she wasn't in Kansas anymore. "O-oh my God..." The faunus would stare in sheer shock and horror at what was before her: Someone had been pinned like some taxidermy trophy above the doors, his nude frame hanging for everyone to see. Maron shook herself out of her near-catatonic state, and immediately pushed herself to save her teammates. The horse faunus' legs would push through the opposite direction of the tide of students leaving the door; her mind focused on getting Monte, as he was incapable of saving himself. By the time Maron had made it to the medical station, she was already tired; it was most likely due to the smoke quickly flowing into her lungs with how much energy she was using to run. That didn't matter, she had to get Monte out of there.
Maron quickly picked up her green-haired teammate, and held him to her back, apologizing to him for any further injury she may have caused. Maron was beginning to feel the same thing, her lungs felt like they were on fire, which triggered the horse faunus to grossly cough a few times. She left her favorite jacket behind as she rushed to the center of the gym, looking around for Qing. Unfortunately, with how much her lungs were burning from running and holding a roughly 150-or-so pound man on her shoulder; she could already feel her nose beginning to bleed from how much physical energy she was using in such an uncomfortable environment. She couldn't just leave her captain behind, what sort of teammate would she be?!
"Q... Gah!!" Maron would begin to cough profusely as she continued to look for her captain. After a few seconds of linger around in search of her captain, Maron could not help but grow concerned for the young man on her back. She knew what she had to do, even though she would forever resent herself for it, she had to go and get Monte out of here. "I-I'm sorry Qing..." Fighting back to urge to cry despite her eyes drying out, Maron rushed towards the door as fast as she could, but her running began to progressively slow down. Things began to grow blurry for the horse; her speed was slowly decreasing as her lungs began to sting, followed by a grotesque streams of coughs that tasted like metal. Her head was hurting, much more than she could ever imagine; she didn't even notice her graceful tail being slightly singed from the flames.
"Ahhh.... Haaaa..." Maron was close enough to the doors, but before she could actually open them, the light in the woman's eyes began to fade. She struggled to push open those damnable doors, soon requiring the assistance of panicked students to push her in order to open them. As she burst through the doors, the young woman would immediately fall to the floor, dropping Monte in the process. "I can't... I can't breathe..." the faunus would think to herself, for the first time in her life: Regretting that she had ran. "Am I gonna die here...? My first week...?" she thought as her eyes grew heavier and heavier, and her breathing slower and more painful. "H-hey... At least we got out... And... At least I got to run before I..." Maron's eyes would roll to the back of her head as she laid there, completely limp... Besides her, would be Monte, at least he was going to be okay, hopefully.
ooc Don't worry, she ain't dead. She was just stupid for running like she did LOL

Ivory was full of adrenaline. He wanted to make sure that his team mates were all right. His ears were ringing. He thought he heard his name being called. He would go towards the calling of his name. He would find her, but he was so fulled with Aderniline, that he didn't notice that he was bleeding from his nose. It was staining his grey shirt. The smell of burning fur would reach her, as part of his head was burned from the fire. Otherwise he looked relatively fine.
He looked down at Jessica, as she was crawling towards another woman. He would help her onto her feet, letting her lean on him if she needed, and then went towards the woman.
Onyxia groaned as she finally came to. Slowly climbing up she looked around. She turned to see her sister and what she assumed was his teammate. "We need to evacuate the gym!" Shouting as her ears were still ringing. Looking around at all the chaos. "You guys okay?"
39
Jessica hugged Ivory when he got to her. She partly leaned on him and sighed in relief as her sister got up. "We need to evacuate." She could see the burnt hair and dusted it off. "We can’t stay here long Ivory. We need to move out." She looked and dropped to her knees, Lunestra was gone. Shaking her head she got up, she had to focus. "Ivory, we need to set up a command center away from here."

Cecil was on the verge of having an anxiety attack from the amount of people here, their talking, their loudness. He wasn’t used to so many people being in one place besides class and they were quiet then. His head started to hurt, his heart pounding as he began to step away from Ridley and the others before he heard something. It sounded like a ship’s barge being weakened by pressure before the smell of gunpowder. Before he could say anything, his aura kicked up as an explosion rocked the entire south side of the gym, with him walking in that direction in the first place. He got flung forward from it and rolled on his face, like a rag doll before he came to a stop. His entire body hurt now and everything was ringing in his ears as he slowly began to try and recover. He could hear muffled screams of horror, of fear, and these papers everywhere. The temperature in the gym slowly began to drop once again as he wasn’t instinctively using his semblance to keep himself awake. He could tell there was a new scent in the area, from the source of this bomb as he was trying to get to his feet. However, his legs felt numb as there was a large piece of the wooden floor impaled in his lower back. His eyes began to fill with fear for once before he cried out in pain. His arms soon began to claw as he was forcibly dragging himself to a safer area, one away from the toxic air and location of the bomb. His aura was barely keeping up with the blood he was losing.

Luina and Qing hadn't quite recovered themselves when she heard Cecil speaking to her again. Her golden gaze lingered on them a moment longer before they turned to face her teammate. His question caused a pang of anxiety to strike her chest, but she did her best to brush it away. "I'm sure they're both fine." She insisted with a nod, but the girl honestly wasn't sure if it she was trying to convince him or herself. Azura was just resting... but she hadn't seen Beryl all day and she honestly wasn't sure we're the ex-popstar was. If the bandits had penetrated the school and kidnapped the other students.. it was possible they'd targeted more than just the three. Stopping herself before her thoughts could get the best of her, she shook her head lightly. They're fine. She insisted once more, though this time she did so silently.
As if on que, Azura wound her way through the crowd and made her way to them. A wave of relief washed over her as she noted the long-haired brunette heading towards them. "See." She stated simply, smiling over at Cecil. A few moments later their teammate had made it to them and questioned on what she had missed. "Well, you missed us kicking some bandit butt... they escaped before we could finish the job and now we are trying to figure out where the creeps went so we can finish the job." She explained, as if it were that simple. She would have gone on, explained in more detail, answered any questions, but she never got a chance. The only warning was the sound of creaking planks of wood and than she was engulfed in a massive wave of heat. Her vision blurred and then went completely black. Her ears were ringing and she couldn't hear anything past the deafening tones. She was senseless and then scent a wave of panic through her. Heart racing in her chest like a bird, wings flapping anxiously against her rib cage. Her breath caught in her throat and she tried to force herself to take a deep breath but ended up inhaling a lungful of smoke instead and the deep breather turned into a chorus of breathless coughs and sputtering. Bright lights were swimming over the darkness before her eyes, turning into shapes and figures and soon colors as her vision returning to her piece by piece. Slowly the ringing in her ears gave way to screams and yelps of pain.
The vision laid before her amber eyes was a wretched one and the screams and cries of again were a horrid symphony, banging around in her already throbbing skull. Ridley almost wished she was senseless again. Her head was spinning and everything was moving too quickly while she was stuck in slow motion. Looking around the gym, her heart clenched in her chest. She couldn't breath. She felt like a giant had wrapped it's thick fingers around her torso and was trying to squeeze the life right out of her. There was blood splattered across every surface. So much red... too much red... for a moment she was a much youngfer version of herself, staring down at her blood soaked sheets, knowing death was just around the corner. There were bodies scattered across the wrecked floor, some of which were calling out for help... others that were staring blankly at the ceiling with lifeless eyes. That's when she saw him. Donnelly. Sprawled out on the floor. So still... too still. She hadn't known him well... but they had spoken on occassion, shared a class together. Ridley had been so sure they were going to save him. They had saved him... only to have him ripped away once more. This time permanently. Her eyes burned as the despair ripped through her chest, tearing through her her heart and sending a pang of pain through her. On my moments later the anger came. It courses through her veins, white hot, searing. It consumed her. Boiled her blood. Tinted her vision red. The two emotions battled for control over her body in a heated war that overwhelmed her and caused her throbbing head to spin.
Ridley hadn't noticed the reason for her throbbing head until that moment. The felt the blood, warm and sticky as it trailed down her the side of her face and trickled down her neck. She reach up, pressing her fingers tenderly to her forhead wincing slightly. When she pulled her fingers away, they were stained red. She stared at her hand for a moment, just blinking. Slowly her senses gave way to more throbbing pains. Small cuts and gashes that were scattered over her arms and legs, all oozing blood slowly. However, it seemed the most significant of them was the gash on her head. She nodded to herself, a mistake as it caused her head to throb painfully. I've had worse. She thought to herself, disregarding her own pain and injuries entirely. There were people who were hurt much more direly than herself. She needed to get them out of here. Get them help. Her eyes began searching for Cecil and Azura, planning to have them help her transport the injured. That's when she heard him. Her heart sputtered than stopped in her chest as she slowly turned to face him.
The girl was overwhelmed with guilt. She felt so selfish for being so lost and consumed in her mind rather than being there to help him. That cry of pain he had let out was reverberatin through her skull, standing out in the haze of her thoughts. "Cecil." She murmured softly, rushing to his side. There was a large chunk if wood jutting out from his back and the amount of blood that was pulled around him scared her. However, she keotg the fear out of her face and her tone. "This is going to hurt." She spoke aloud. That was the only warning she gave before pulling the splintered plank from his back. In a flash she had tossed it aside while simultaneously ripping her cloak from around her, baring her shoulders. She pressed the fabric firmly to the punture wound on his back, knowing she needed to stop the bleeding. It was cold, meaning his semblance was active. That was a good sign. However, if she didn't stop the blood flow, he would bleed out. Keeping her bloid-stained hands pressed firmly to his back, she cranes her neck to look for her other teammate, praying she was okay. "Azura!" Her mind was racing. She knew she needed to get Cecil out of here. Somewhere safer in case there was a secondary attack. Somewhere the air was lessz toxic. However, she didn't dare to even attempt that until she slowed the bleeding enough that she was confident he wouldn't bleed out.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ She walked with the universe on her shoulders and made it look like a pair of wings.

’Heart rate 150bpm… bronchial dilation…. elevated ventilation…’ System by system like a strange methodical mantra, Oto did her best to keep her mind clear of all other thoughts by assessing her own physiology as it kicked into the familiar sympathetic state. For someone that was born and bred for combat, it still came as a bit of a challenge for Oto to fight her innate human instinct to run away from the face of danger. Constantly the girl had to remind herself that this was the life she had chosen for herself - trading one life of combat for another, just with more freedom and less shady practices - and this was a reality that she would have to face daily. Nothing but the mere environment had changed for Oto - there was no room for hesitation, no room for fear, for mistakes. Feeling the adrenaline seep into each and every cell, Oto pushed her body to its limits, darting across the school as fast as her body would allow. ’Get there, figure it out... don’t freeze, fight.’
Her vision, though blurred from the minor dilation of her pupils due to the sympathetics, did not betray her as the chaotic scene unfolded upon her arrival. Students and faculty were rushing out of the building, which now was barely visible as it was gripped by a hellish maelstrom of smoke and fire. Those that made it out were injured – some so extensively bloodied and soot-covered that she could barely recognize them.
Through the crackling of burning wood and the pained and angered screams of the students, Oto fought the urge to collapse. There was no time for that. People were likely still in the building, and others needed to be treated for their injuries. ’Move Oto… move.’ Though shaken, Oto maintained an air of calmness about her as she continued forward. ’Don’t think… just do.’ Her heart sank as she continued forwards towards the doors of the gymnasium. Was this the end of it? Did she expect too much from Beacon? All she had wanted was a place to finally belong. A place to mature, to learn, to become a proper, functional member of society. But now it seemed her dreams were perishing as the only safehaven she ever knew was under attack.
From the reactions of the few that managed to escape, it was clear that the fire and smoke made their surroundings particularly toxic. Taking one last breath of clean air, Oto stepped into the gym with the utmost caution. Though her vision was hazy from the smoke, the girl could still make out the silhouettes of students in motion – there were survivors. With a forceful swing as her body was bathed in a dark purple aura, Oto sent her chakram upwards and swiftly moved her hands in opposite directions before closing them both into fists at her shoulder. Her large chakram, now floating twenty feet in the air above Oto and coated in the same purple aura, began to wobble periodically as it spun rapidly – Oto’s best attempt at siphoning the toxic smoke upwards to create a less toxic environment for the survivors closest to her. With her semblance activated, Oto was restrained and forced to keep both arms raised above her head.
The girl moved to the closest student she could find. ”Can you walk on your own? We need to get out of here, before the building collapses...”
Just as Lunia came to a bit more she was swept off her feet by Oswald, which she was very grateful for. She closed her eyes and calmed herself down, taking deep breaths she looked at Oswald. "Thanks Os-" before she could even finish her sentence her body was suddenly blown for what seemed like miles along the ground, landing against a wall. The pain was something Lunia had never felt before, she winced and fell in and out of consciousness, as she lay limp on the ground she could hear the screams of students flooding to get out. For a few seconds, Lunia went blank.
"Hey, sis... get up." Lunia opened her eyes slightly, everything around her was black, she could have sworn she heard his voice, her brothers... no, she must be dreaming. "You gotta get that necklace, you got so much more to live for" it shouted again. It was Keatons voice, she could have sworn she was dead and finally about to be reunited with her best friend.
All of a sudden, the black void around her turned back to the gym... she was unsure how long she was out for. Coughing heavily into her hand she could feel some blood running down her cheek, she had been badly injured from the blast, but she could stand. Pulling herself up to standing, she could barely see from all the smoke, her teammates came into her mind, Lunestra, everyone.
One person came straight into her thoughts, "Jazz.." she whispered to herself. Lunia began to franticly look around for him, "JAZZ?!?!" she shouted, falling to her knees from the pain in her leg, she must have done something to it, she could feel the shards of glass piercing parts of her body. "Is anyone there? I -cough- can't walk far..." she said, beginning to well up. This was all becoming too real for her, if she lost anyone close to her again... she would break. "Jazz? Oswald! Please be alive..." she yelled, trying to force herself up onto her legs again. It was like something straight out of a horror, she began to feel faint as she inhaled the smoke, but she was determined to find someone, anyone.

"Failiure is not an option."
Zaffre Gervagis
Zaffre kept close with Oto as they ran towards the gym, with each step he was trying his best to muster the spirit of a hero. He could do this, no matter what was thrown at them he was ready to fight, bandits were no problem. He and Oto were both not talking, each of them in their own minds doing their best to combat the fear that was slowly creeping onto them.
At the sight of the catastrophe, Zaffre's hands went immediately cold and there was a clenched feeling in his gut. "This is... this is..." Zaffre, who has read mountains and mountains of books, who had an expansive vocabulary was at an absolute loss for words. He couldn't focus, he couldn't think. He grew numb as the horrified faces of the students who were able to escape pushed passed him, the terror in their eyes pierced his chest. Another student running past shoved past his shoulder, and he lost his balance as he fell back. The chaos was rattling his brains and drowning his thoughts. Was it an explosion? An accident? An attack? He couldn't see anyone exchanging swords or fire.
He had realized that he had lost sight of his teammates, and he was unable to focus on anything save for a blur of a silhouette in the distance. His vision adjusted enough for him to identify that it was Oto.
What was she doing with her chakram? He thought to himself, his thoughts played back everything that he had seen, the sight of the building post-explosion, the faces of terror that ran passed him... covering their faces.
Fumes. She was trying to use her weapon and her semblance like a fan to combat fumes.
He snapped back into reality, pushing himself up to his feet as he ran towards Oto's direction with a hand covering his mouth, his hands were still cold, his legs were shaking, and his guts felt like jello. But at the sight of someone he, although had taken offense to, was able to recognize, he had something to mentally anchor himself in amidst the chaos. Making eye contact with his teammate and nodding, he grabbed a handle that was on his belt, and with a flourish, unraveled it into the shape of a wide whip, that he spun around in an unnecessarily elegant fashion. Of course, he wanted to look a little impressive with the first reveal of his weapon to his teammate.
"I really hate wasting my dust outside of combat." He started as he turned the handle of his weapon around and slid in the vial into it's compartment, before he finished his sentence. "But if it's an emergency I guess I have to make an exception."
Once again, he started twirling his weapon around like a ribbon dancer, and he focused the direction of the wind dust's power that was charged along the whip's edge to strengthen the power of the draft Oto was creating. Whatever toxic effect the fumes had would greatly hinder the emergency response to help the remaining survivors, so it was high in his list of priorities to counter it's effect as strongly as possible. "Good idea Oto, although I would have thought to do that first if I was ahead of you guys." Of course, he had to make an unnecessary remark, and if it wasn't for the fact that he was in a life or death situation, he might have added something else.
He looked around to get bearings on his surroundings. He had no idea if the explosion was strong enough to affect the foundation of the building, he had no idea who was dead, or who needed help, but he needed to act as quickly as possible as soon as he was able to piece together, and with as many people as possible.
He'd never admit it to himself, but this was something he couldn't do alone.
"Yo, a horse Faunus, huh? That's cold. I bet you're pretty fast. That's lit." he said with a slight chuckle. He was about to follow up with a question as to how she gets her hair so shiny since he's been looking into his own lack of sheen in his hair, but before he could Hell broke loose. Maron pushed him out of the way of the blast, but the shockwave sent him crashing into a wall.
"Gack!" he chocked along with blood. He fell a short distance to the floor and landed flat on his but. He fell and attempted to catch himself with his left...hands. 1...2...3...4 left hands. He quickly came to the realization his glasses were practically shattered. His vision going in and out, he couldn't exactly gain his bearings. "W-what happened?" he asked attempting to stand. "Ssschist!" he hissed at the pain in his arm. Looking through the gaping hole in his burned sweater, he saw the inner meat of his arm. Trying to remain calm, he breathed in and out. Knowing the pain was coming no matter what he did since he saw it. He embraced it. He grit his teeth and waiting for the pain to lessen enough to think.
He composed himself after the wave crashed over him. Now, he could think. "Wait... if this happened to me then-!" that's when he saw it. The wall of flame. The sound of horrific screaming ringing through the air. The smell of smoke and fire... seared flesh. All familiars from the PlayPen. All starting to strengthen as if someone were turning up the volume knob. "Oh, my Oum! My people! Onyxia! Damien! Scylla!" he shouted as he jumped to his feet ignoring his pain. He ran through the gym searching for his team regardless of his safety! Through red eyes, burning lungs and restraining the need to vomit he pushed forward. He noticed students trying their best to redirect the smoke. He looked at them and nodded at the man with the whip and the woman with the spinning blade and mouthed 'Thank you' as he continued.
He was losing blood at a rapid rate. If he continued like this he would end up dead and not able to find his team. He looked to his arm grit his teeth again. He ripped the remainder of the sleeve of his jacket to fully reveal his blood soaked and ruined arm. He equipped nice into melee mode and fired upwards on automatic fire. He breathed in and out as he placed the hot widened barrel at the top of the gash effectively closing the affected area. Holding back his screams, he did this several more times across the length of the injury effectively cauterizing it. A bit woozy from the pain, he once again pushed forward. "What...the...he-" he cut himself short. A body.
Practically on display above the doors. Lifeless. It's not like he hasn't seen plenty before, but it still gets to him. Yet, he pushed forward. "Damien! Scylla! Onyxia!" he forced himself to scream out. In that instant, he remembered who got him out of the initial blast. "Maron! Maron!" he started to shout. He began to choke and blood splattered onto the ruined wooden floor. He fell to his knees as he discharged more blood from his mouth. He cursed himself for not having a semblance that would be useful in this situation. Water welled in his eyes and an down his cheeks. Not sure if it's due to the smoke or his worry. "I'm not ditchin' this joint without my people. On Oum we leave together!" he said as he picked himself up to continue his search.
「 Ḅeacộn Âcademy Ḩeadmastέr 」 "The failures of one's past do not exist..." ▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀
It was like a thousand other times. He was busy doing something. His little sister was pestering him about something he thought was trivial. Always a proud one she was. He loved her spirit though. To him. This was normal, but now... It was something else. Aurtrox coughed violently as he awoke. Smoke. Dust. The air was toxic. He pushed a large wooden plank off of his body with his right arm only to see what looked like pure hell on earth. Being in the top floor it seemed like they had just barely missed the main blast. Luck. Maybe. He coughed again. Dust visibly puffed out of his lungs. His whole body ached in pain. His lungs burned, and he might not be able to walk except for his semblance. He flicked his wrist and three glyphs appeared one after the other in a straight line. They flowed faintly, as if pulsating with energy. He stepped on the first one and felt a healing burst. Then the second. And then the third. Each step took tremendous effort, but his glyphs were able to keep his body up until he reached the door and opened it. The door toppled off its hinges and fell three floors down to the ground with a loud crashing sound as it splintered into a dozen pieces. The entire side of the building was gone. The air started to clear as the smoke rushed out into the open. He stood there for a long moment. The size of this bomb wasn't something any measly band of criminals could get."Lunestra..." Aurtrox said under his breath realizing his sister was nowhere to be seen. He started to look around for her desperately, but he didn't see anything. That is when he remembered that she was just barely inside the door. He looked up and saw a large whole in the ceiling. His shoulders shook with ferocity and his wings flopped out out his robes and with one swift movement launched him into the ceiling. He tore through the ceiling and with a simple flip he was up inside an attic-like area. Smoke and dust thick in this area and he couldn't stay long, but nothing would stop him from saving his dear sister.
That was when he felt it. A wet streak down his left cheek. He looked downward to see a crimson from fall from his face. Aurtrox looked up to see something so terrible that he must be dreaming, but this was no ordinary dream. It must be a night terror. "Lunestra!!" He shouted as he jumped up another floor's distance to see her body tangled in the metal wiring that held the roof together. The explosion must've caught her wings and thrown her up here. She had a large metal rod sticking straight through her body. His body seemed to ache, but not from some normal sort of pain. It was something much much deeper than that. She had to be alive. She had to, but she didn't move."No. No. No this cannot be... Lunestra! Can you hear me? I'm going to save you little sister. Like I've always done!" He flicked his wrists and healing glyphs by the dozen started to appear. He grabbed the rod and kicked it with such for that it snapped like thinly cut plywood. Her body was limp, but he flapped his wings ferociously and launched himself through the roof. A smoke trail blazed behind them. He landed in an open field just beside the gym. It was on the lesser inhabited side."Lunestra...You're okay now. I've got you."He placed her on some more of his healing glyphs, but she didn't move."Little Lu. Please... wake up.. WAKE UP!!"This last time he screamed. Tears started to run down his cheeks. Tears? He didn't know what those were. He hadn't cried since -- his mother died -- and that was when he was about Lunestra's age. He pulled her head to his chest and started to sob uncontrollably. "I know I've always been hard on you... I know... but please don't leave me. You were supposed to be here when I died... Please Lunestra... come back..."His tears fell onto the pale skin of her face. Washing away the dust and leaving a clear trail. His sobs filled the air like an far and wide. He had so much weight on his shoulder...all to make a better world for his little sister. That is how he had always bore the weight, but not that was gone. What motivation might he have to go on?"Lu-Lunestra...I love you."He said through a wheezing sob. He coughed, no, he hacked violently right after. He had breathed in too much smoke. The world was blurry. A haze of purple, and grey, and red. His normally immaculately clean robes were soaked. Not by water, but by the blood of his sister, and the tears of sorrow.
He didn't know how long he sat there weeping. He didn't know how many healing glyphs he had used, but at some point he toppled over unconscious. At this moment several helicopters appeared over the fiery hell that used to be the gym. The military had seen the smoke and come immediately. Doctors by the dozens rushed out to help the students. They first would treat those who had severe injuries. They needed to stop bleeding first and foremost. Aurtrox was found by one such field medic and Lunestra and him were taken away. He was tied to a stretcher with a respirator attached to his face and tied to a wire connected to a chopper. Several other students were in the same boat. They would be taken to the city to be treated. Today, the world would started to fall apart.

So many things were happening all at once, one thing theyw ere in one corner of the gym talking to each other, then chaos everywhere. Donnely was stabbed dead on one of the gym walls, a grimm popping out of no where which is odd. Since she didn't expect a school for hunters and huntress to have such bad security, where were all the teachers? As the grimm entered the gym and started attacking students left and right as some gas was filling up the gym she looked to both Rori and Joji as she grabbed their arms and ran out of the gym pulling them with her. They had to clear out of the gym and get to some place safer. ~exit~
