There was an awkward pause ans Lunaire ignored it instead focusing on the earlier comment Hung Lei had made. She wondered, what did it look like? The heavens striking her foe? thunder? Like his name? Or lightning like a Thunder spell?
She pulled her arm back, "Alright here we go...." She lunged forward bringing her hand down with a burst of golden light, almost like electricity bursting forward to cut down the last two bugs with another puff of darkness.
For a moment she stood there. Her weapon suddenly flickering from existence before she jumped up and down.
"I HAVE A LIMIT BREAKER, THIS IS FREAKING AWESOME! AND I GOT FIRST BLOOD SUCK ON THAT SOL!"

She summoned Thane and in one smooth motion launched herself into the air, slamming down and destroying one of the writhing things that got too near Leslie.
At least they weren't shadows. They were something real, which somehow made them less terrifying. Caroline snapped the whip around towards a pair of the insects, finding herself sort of wishing she had a chair to wield like a lion tamer. That would be extra hot.

We can do more. His body tingled with a chill, as if he stood on the cusp of an icy precipice. Let us. Aleria's voice held a wonder in it; they were both learning again, chasing instincts blindly.
Leslie reached down into that well of power, and ice raced up from his hands, frost covering his skin and clothes from head to toe lightning fast. And then it melted into him, and Leslie could feel his shield knit back together, strengthening again.
He wiped at his teary face, breath hiccuping. He could heal.
Clyde didn't care about being topless. He actually hated shirts anyways. It wasn't an attempt to attract anyone. It was just damn hot.
"My name is Clyde, Miss. I can't say that I have a girlfriend as of yet." Clyde didn't want to put the girl out but she was also too young for him at the moment. (Not that anyone who signed their life away was really too young for anything but 18 and up only need apply for girlfriend status.) "I do have a nice spot out of the sun. No sense in being out there."
Though one of the centipedes was felled, she wasn't handling her weapon as well as she could have been. She tried to play it off by pretending it was all part of her tactics.
"That was excellent!" Sherry grinned, genuinely impressed by his skill with that weapon. "Better than I ever did my first mission. You clearly did have things under control."
Sherry laughed and swung at another bug. Even if he could handle himself, the sooner the threat was shut down the better. The bug dissolved.
"Now is a good time to head towards safety. Or help out others." She paused. "I'm Sherry, what's your name?"

Passing Clyde by as she entered, America patted his chest with a succinct, "Yet."
The inside of the tent was kind of gross, but maybe she could find something useful in here. Like a bottle of water or a selfie stick.
There were still two pesky bugs getting in her way, however, and by the time she got one of them down, she was sure something would attack Leslie. But...no, that shining was from him. Stormy watched his wounds heal and relaxed slightly.
One minute Kammy had been sitting next to Sam, about to learn some vital runic info, the next the guy whom was called Caelius, and apparently her division lead, had strolled in and then she was falling.
So this was what it was like to think with portals!
She landed on hot burning sand, which was shifting beneath her feet. It was way too fast to keep up with.
Kazue sounded concerned, and she scrambled out of the way as a group of large centipedes squirmed into sight.
"Hey Sam, other dude, you okay?" She called out to them as her bow appeared in hand. Cool, she already knew how to summon it. Achievement unlocked.
She stayed by Leslie and watched just in case. Stormy idly squashed the remained of bugs in her immediate area and kept alert for movement. Now, to see if she could pick out Gale or other other trainees she had been talking to...
"Okay, I'ma shoot them!" She called out before stopping in her tracks, looking at her bow
"...Where are the arrows?!"

Kammy did as she was told, the arrows materializing in her hand as energy. "COOL!" She shouted, shooting two of the bugs in quick succession. "This is so - AH CRAP POISON CHECK POISON CHECK!"
She had been coated in the bug guts, but after some shouting she realized there was no pain. "...woah this shield stuck kicks a**!"

Tent Shelter- open for business
Clyde grinned. He still had it with the ladies, too bad the first one in a long while was far too young.
"Call me in three years." he winked at her. She was cute, but still, he shouldn't even be looking. Clyde went back to guarding his tent shelter.
Abbi was glad there was only one centipede left, and she stomped up to it with all the gravity she could muster in such a situation. It wasn't much, given that sand wasn't good for stomping and that she was growing tired, but she frowned at the last monstrosity and lifted her scythe. "Game over." She intoned, and swung.
It dissolved, she coughed, and she was done. One quick glance was shot at Bradley, and a hand waved. "Let me know if you need help!" After that she hurried to the safety of the tents.
