 Yihad knew hu should be focusing on the task given to hum, but Somansh needed hus help in this moment of incoming trauma. Hus hand softly touched her arm, giving it a gentle stroke to ease her worries ", We will be okay Somansh. Do you want to work on your task first?" She tried to say they should focus on both their tasks and hu should leave her for a bit to finish her's, but hu refused ", You need me. Besides, if we are quick about it we can work on your's first, then mine." Hu tried to give her constant comfort as she worked on her task, her quickly getting it done before the two quickly moved over to his. If only Yihad could be quick to get his done with as well. Hu sure hoped they had enough time.

The small group she was with had managed to make it to Kingston room. And while she had tried fighting off sleep, there was just so much for her to be worried about, in the end she must have passed out for at least a few hours. She was woken up after an announcement was made for them all to return to the auditorium. She had hoped to wake up and everything be over and done with. Crisis solved!
She slipped her shoes back on as their made their way down the halls back to the Auditorium, the whole time she couldn't even bring herself to look outside. She stuck extra close to Vanna as they walked one step closer to what she could only think was doom at this point.
Before Ava could even start her announcement Eilwen could tell something was wrong. She let out a gasp at the news, the other safe zones were attacked? At least some of them at any rate. How did this even happen? Mai and Erion were safe, right? They just had to be. If anyone was looking after her brother, no one was more up to the task than Mai. At least that's what she was going to keep telling herself for now.
"R-right...." Was about the only response she could squeak out at first. Safe, huh? Surely their underground bunker would be safe. Likely the school had to be fairly safe enough on it's own already. Or the Academy probably would have been attacked as well. Her nerves were pretty shot and part of her just wanted to curl up in a ball and hope someone picked her up on their way down to the bunker. But, no. She needed to help out. Plus, she wasn't exactly a small Chimera. It wouldn't be fair to make someone carry her....
"Right, I'll stick with Coco for now as we help gather up some supplies." She urged the shaking in her hands to stop as she took one of the demon's hands. "We'll either see you here...or down in the bunker. It's a promise!" She nodded her head carefully and then together headed with the group of juniors to look for whatever they could find to help them survive in the bunker for...well...however long they needed to be down there.

 Xanthe gulped, hugging herself tightly against the horrible word: survivors. Maybe she should be happy that there were people still alive, people she could still help but...the other side of the coin was that people had died. People had been hurt. People she might have known. Oh, what was happening? She came here to experience something new, but this was not what the Naga had in mind. Xanthe shook herself, she didn't want to be singled out as someone too scared to help. She headed to the first random group of people to start helping out. She could do this. She could help and the survivors would be okay and she'd live. Xanthe closed her eyes for a second and prayed to any god that was listening that she'd please live.

 Baum was unhappy to say the least. He wanted to help people and be dependable and the whole situation just made him feel so powerless and helpless. He looked over to Harley and wished there was some magical thing he could tell her that would make it more bearable. “We’ll make it through this we will” Baum replied, not to happy that they were separating the auditorium into different age groups. “I’ll be careful Ms. Harley. You be careful as well, and stay safe please,” and with those words he turned to go with the rest of the juniors. Yet his mind kept drifting back to his friends Pherein and Kieran. He hoped they were safe. Ah well he knew they would be fine, but what about Kadali. Helping Harley had kept his mind off his twin sister but now that he was by himself again… was she okay. Was she at the academy? Or had she been at one of the other safe places… that weren’t so safe any more.

Gany quirked a brow at him, then shook his head. "You're obviously tired too, why stay up?" He settled onto his bed, nearly sitting on one of his flitterats that had managed to get out of their cage during his absence. He scooped them up, opting to gently pet them instead of immediately settling down for some sleep. It seemed... too good to be true to be able to just go back to life like they hadn't just been vaguely threatened by some murderous person over the TV.
"You think Ella's okay?" He frowned, assuming that Ella would probably be panicking. She wasn't quite a senior yet- did she even have roommates right now or was she alone? His thoughts were interrupted by Ava's message- they had to return. "...I knew it. Let's go..." He sighed, dejected, and then set his rats aside before pushing himself up....
-brief skip durin ava's breakdown of what's going on wheeeeee-
Morose annoyance turned right back into panic at the news. The safehouses had been attacked? Survivors were coming to the school? Once more, Ganymede had a death-grip on Foras's hand throughout Ava's speech, markings flickering with nerves. "...This isn't going to end here is it." He looked up to Foras, wanting the answer to be 'yes, it will' but knowing it probably wouldn't. "Come on, are you any good with spells?" He tugged Foras over to the gathering group of seniors- he was more versed in illusions than protective charms, but he hadn't been totally ignoring his defensive magic lessons...
Thankfully it all came back to him quickly- he managed to successfully assist with boarding up a window and was able to lend some magical power to enchant it as well. Good- he could help out with others if need be but for now he just wanted to stick close to Foras in case anything started happening again.

 Aedus listened to the announcement and he frowned his parents were out there somewhere, although his mom annoyed him and he was still kinda mad at them for making the choice to move to the Bellow he didn't want either of them to die. He shook his head and turned to Nim as she spoke, helping yea that was important. Making sure that Nimah would be safe was majorly important. Aedus reached out and touched her arm and then said "Of course we'll help and we will get through this." He said to comfort her, then. He followed after Nimah to help with gathering food, water, blankets and such. At this point, it seemed like the haunted hallows festival and the idea of getting pizza with Nim was a million years ago, even though it hadn't been that long ago. Aedus sighed and went about the task of helping the school. Aedus wasn't finished by a long shot helping, so he stayed near Nimah to continue helping.

 Baum's words were a little encouraging. She tried to steady herself, she needed to stay focused on helping out now. She needed everyone to be safe. She needed for Yuta to be safe. Oh nine, where was Yuta!? The freshlings were being herded underground. She hoped that the little Kumiho was with them. She wouldn't forgive herself if anything happened to them. And Echo... Where had she gone? Hopefully she was alright too, just helping to board up windows and doors like she was. Even with her hands shaking and her mind unfocused, she managed to finish boarding up a window, worry still etched inter her face.

During the break, Jericho had intended to go find his friends but... in the chaos, they were nowhere to be found. His anxieties only spiked with Ava's latest announcement. Were they really going to be safe here? He couldn't bear to think of what would happen if... well, whatever had attacked the safehouses came to the Academy. Everyone always talked about the school as if it were impenetrable but he wasn't so sure... every building had its weaknesses, right?
At least the task given to the juniors was distracting work. He followed one of the teachers down a hall to help gather some food. After grabbing a bunch of nonperishables, he started making his way back to the auditorium, assuming that's where they were supposed to gather.

Niamh smiled at her companion, thankful that he was calm. She was unsure what she'd do if he wasn't. It really might be the last straw for all of this. She sighed quietly. The festival seemed as if it had been another lifetime at this point. And it really may well have been.
She took a deep breath, and settled down near the unpacked waterbottles. Thankfully there was an empty box nearby, it really just needed to be loaded.
Water seems like the most important, right? She packed the water into the box rather haphazardly, not really focusing on the task at hand. Her eyes kept drifting to the seniors and teachers who were boarding everything up. ... Except the one entry. She shivered, hoping that wouldn't be their downfall.

 Coco was a little nervous and afraid what if something happened to Calypso?? The thought of her not surviving made Coco want to scream and cry, but there were freshlings that needed to be taken to safety and they needed food, water, and blankets to keep everyone ok as possible. So Coco didn't have time to scream or cry. Coco took a deep breath she also had her new friends with her, she would get through this, breath out. She would see Calypso again she had to believe that. She looked down at the bracelets she had made with her friends she had to believe they would all make it through this mess. Coco likely would have freaked out and had a breakdown and cried if she didn't have Vanna, Kingston and Eilwen. The what ifs didn't really matter right now they had a job to do together. Coco nodded to Vanna he was older so he was on the boarding up the windows task. Eilwen and Coco were juniors so they would be helping elsewhere. Coco felt better hearing Vanna say what she had been thinking, they had to get through this, there wasn't any other choice. Coco nodded again, she still hadn't gathered her wits to speak, but she would stay near Eilwen to help gather supplies for the bunker. Coco wasn't sure where Kingston was but she hoped if she missed him up here she would see him safe in the bunker. Coco continued helping with the move to the bunker.

"I'm sure Ella's all good. She's pretty spunky!" Foras had closed his eyes, but couldn't really find it in himself to actually let it all go and dream on. It seemed like his eyes were only closed for a few second before an announcement rang through the building. Back to the auditorium for them it seems. He let out a deep sigh and rolled out of his bed.
"Hey, she could be telling us it's all over?" He let out a single laugh as he slipped on his shoes and headed out the door with Gany. He decided to leave it unlocked for now, if they ended up having to run back here for any reason they'd be able to get in quick enough. And in the case of anything....really horrible going wrong. At least their many familiars could get out if they needed to. Seemed only right...
Unfortunately what Ava had to say was no good news at all. People had died. It was time they all seriously 'bunker' down, so to say. He'd like to say he kept his cool and wasn't terrified at all. But, that would be a terrible lie. He kept a tight hold on Gany's hand. He certainly wouldn't be letting his precious little Geist get away from him any time soon.
"Pfffft. Magic? Why don't you let me just worry about the boards and the hammer? And just stand back enough that I don't accidentally hurt you in the process, but close enough that I can pick you up and run if we have to. Kay?" Together they went off with the other students to work on boarding up the windows and doors. He hoped this was all the defense they needed, but he was starting to become skeptical at this point.
And with all these distractions running through his mind he wasn't really all that great at this whole, boarding up the school thing.

Eilwen was gathering up anything that would be useful for them and putting them on trolleys in the hallways. She searched through the various rooms, gathering up what she could find. It was a tedious at least, and enough to keep her mind off of things. She stuck close to Coco, at least trying to keep an eye on her new friend through all of this. Hopefully they'd get down to the bunker soon. And she tried not to think about what would happen if whatever was out there got into the bunker....

Aedus looked at Nia and watched her shiver as she looked at the door, he really wasn't sure what to say to comfort her about that. Some could get hurt gathering supplies if they didn't get to the bunker in time. Aedus wanted Nia to get to the bunker as soon as possible. He had no problem risking his skin to protect Niamh. He looked at her as she found the packs of water bottles. He nodded "Yea those will be good you should head down to the bunker I'll keep looking for other stuff." Aedus would do as much as he could, twice as much if it meants keeping Niamh safe. Just as he said that Aedus found some non-perishable food and a couple blankets. "Come on Niamh let's take this stuff to the bunker."

 Thian rubbed at the bracelet he'd been gifted as he gave the room an initial sweep, looking for food or other items of value. He and Amory had agreed to split up, but he wasn't quite as comfortable doing that as he had let on. The demon thought it was a pretty stupid idea to voluntarily lock himself in a room with Nightmares who'd survived this thing, but he was going to do it anyway, since he had nowhere else to go. He couldn't fight, his running speed was atrocious, and he was far too clumsy to get away without everyone knowing where he was. If he made it out of this alive, the first thing he was going to do was start working out.

Coco was still going around searching with Eilwen when she found a bunch of bottles of water, she smiled a little this would be good, she found a couple of blankets as well. She bundled everything together so she could take everything down to the bunker. She hoped that Eilwen would be done soon so they could go to the bunker together, She was nervous about going by herself. "Umm.. do you want me to wait for you Eilwen?? I found some stuff.." She said softly. She looked around at others working so hard together to gather everything quickly so they could survive this disaster.
