Though his answer didn't instill any confidence in her, Nashira thought maybe she understood. She caught the glance behind him, and maybe she figured something out: They weren't supposed to be here. The barrier was to keep outsiders out. He probably broke some stupid long standing rule or something, like in those movie's she'd seen. She wouldn't dwell on it. "Is there anything in the forest that would hurt them, or us?" She hoped it was just a matter of finding them before the poor Tomoe got in trouble. She hoped that they weren't trying to keep them from being something's lunch.

Staying: Coralie had no time to respond to Callixtus before they were interrupted, being introduced to Tomoe. Wow... this being was beautiful to the eyes for sure! Very fluffy, like an Imp, Grimm or Bakeneko. However, this race was from the Above, so it would be a bit different from the ones from below. As the nixie listened, Coralie knew no doubt that she wanted to help. Children shouldn't be alone in the forest, and this being surely would get in trouble if they were not found ", I will help you. Do you remember where you last saw them? Perhaps they would be close by, or maybe they are even following you without you knowing it? I used to do that to my parents when I was that age."

Staying:Lillith lurked around the edges of the group. This situation had her completely out of her element, where normally she would be a confident leader in all of this, she had found herself barely keeping up through out it all. Despite that, Lillith felt inspired to push forward. The cute one who introduced himself as Tomoe was certainly aesthetically pleasing, which helped relieve some of the stress. Several nightmares were questioning Tomoe in an attempt to help remedy the situation, and Lillith wondered how she could contribute without causing more fuss than was useful. "Tomoe, can you take us to where they normally go when they play? Could we help search the area?"

Staying:As Ghester stumbled through the fog, he felt dazed and confused like he had lost days. Not just minutes or even hours, but days. It took a few moments to gather his thoughts and get his footing once again, then a dull ache washed over his body, causing him to wince. "What the...." the grimm muttered to himself as he vaguely remembered being injured.
But his own injury wasn't on his mind long. "Bibi!" he let out with a shout. "s**t! Where are you Pinkie?!" he shouted out, pushing through the group as he looked for the adorably pink geist. He caught notice of the the weird person standing before the group, but he held little to no concern over him for the moment. Not when he had to find Bibiana amongst the crowd.

Staying: Bibiana beamed at the praise from her partner. "Aw, thanks! But we did it together," she said and smiled happily. She opened her mouth to introduce herself to her partner when there was some kind of commotion near where their leader was. She couldn't quite tell what was going on, but she gathered that the strange looking man needed help. "Well, I'm gonna stay and help him," she said with a nod and a smile to the other teen. "How about you?"
Her attention was divided further when she heard a familiar voice calling her name. "Ghester!" she called out. She didn't want him to hurt himself further from searching for her. "Over here!" she said and stoof up on her tip toes, waving her arms. She wanted to run over to him, but doing so would tug her poor partner along behind her as Claire hadn't had a chance to cut them apart yet.

Staying:
Once they were through, Zahneel watched as Bebe found her friends and found herself blushing a little at being called amazing. Though, she had to admit to herself that it was highly gratifying to be praised by an older student. Smiling warmly at the neko for a moment, Zahneel was already moving to rush out and fling herself at Neptune, grateful to see him okay and equally grateful to be through that damned barrier. But even before she could, a stranger had appeared and she'd become quite distracted by the two tails and frantic behavior. They were so similar to a grimm, but obviously not that it threw her. Then, she listened to what they were frantic about and her heart went out to them.
"I'll stay and help," she volunteered hard on the heels of Neptune's own offer. She crept closer to Tomoe as everyone else agreed to stay or not, extremely proud of Neptune for offering his help. Even prouder that he stepped in so quickly to ask good questions and help the poor stranger calm down.
Nose twitching curiously, she got to where her friend stood and reached out to pat his back. If the lost kids were that little, it was very important to find them and quickly. Moving to Tomoe's other side, she dared to put one arm around them in a quick, reassuring hug.
"We'll find them. And we won't let anyone hurt you," she said, her tone daring anyone to try and see what happened. Then, in a burst of inspiration, she sniffed carefully at Tomoe, before asking softly, "Umm. Do you have anything that belongs to the kids on you? Toys, bits of clothing? Some of us have really good noses and maybe if we got their scents, we could track 'em down quicker."

If he hadn't caught her scent, Neptune might have just about jumped out of his skin at the touch-- he really wasn't expecting it. Thankfully he had, though, so all Zahneel earned was a subtle jolt as he turned his head to look at her with his good eye. "A-ah.... th-that's a good question..." He nodded a little, thinking that tracking them by scent would be easier if they at least had something of theirs to smell beforehand rather that relying on... well... the general strange scent Tomoe had.
"Z-Zahneel's r-right... I-it'd be easier to t-t-track them that way if we h-h-had something of theirs to smell f-first." He nodded a little as he turned his gaze back to Tomoe. The poor fellow seemed utterly defeated even if they were slowly raising their spirits. It seemed Tomoe had been saddled with two troublemakers that openly disliked him - but why? It seemed strange to trust someone with kids that didn't even like them...

Staying:
"Ah, don't worry about me. I bounce back from these sort of things quickly!" Patches replied to Nashira. With more lights starting to converge around them she knew enough now that they had to be other members of their tour group. She just wondered why it had to be so dark out, had they all been fighting that fog for that long? Or was this just a constantly dark place? No one had been here before, so there was no clue as to what was going on.
Nashira introduced her rope partner than and Patches gave her a little wave and smile. "Nice to meet you, Adhara." The Geist seemed friendly enough at least, which was a good thing because Patches knew Nashira tended to be a little shy. Although it seemed her friend group had already expanded quite a bit while they hadn't seen each other as another Nightmare was talking to her now. He appeared to be a hollow, although in this light it was a little hard to see. Maybe that extra tail outline was just her imagination.
"Thanks for helping out Nashira! I had no idea she got stung by those Bees." That must have hurt and she was sure they probably still hurt. "I'm Patches by the way, nice to meet you." She was starting to get a little nervous about her own friend now, she'd yet to see Mahuyah since they split up before the fog. She was just about to call out to her friend when there was some shouting from a strange man, it seemed to grab everyone's attention as suddenly there was....a race they had never seen before standing in front of them.
Oh no, maybe this was the home of some Daydreams that didn't want to be found. Maybe they had good reason to be undiscovered in the Forest here. Maybe it was a situation like the Grimm had had before, things had ended okay for them before...Tomoe seemed like her really needed their help though and in the sea of voices talking to him she finally heard Mahuyah's as well. She felt some relief about that at least.
"Tomoe, is this barrier supposed to work both ways or does it only keep people out? I'm just wondering if we should only be searching inside of where the barrier was or outside of it now..." If the barrier was gone completely that could mean the missing children were outside of it's boundaries.

Staying: Tambre mused about the whole situation, having stayed completely quiet thus far. The guy was an absolute wreck, but that didn't mean she trusted him. Everyone had already asked tons of questions and the man seemed to quell the more he was pushed, which was never a great way to get information out of someone. Bridgette was probably on the best track, playing the "good cop" to get him more comfortable, but Tambre never was good at pretending to be nice. She was always the "bad cop" scaring people into giving information, but she really doubted that would be helpful right now.
"Right." She stated from out of nowhere, a look of determination on her face. She bent down and retightened the laces on her boots and then straightened. "I'm going to look, there is no point in me staying around here asking questions. Anyone can join me if they'd like." There was a part of her that wanted to ask Bridgette to join, but at the same time, she figured Bridgette had the best bet of getting any more information out of the man. "I'm not sure how, but I'll do my best to find the kids." She couldn't stand the thought of kids being missing, any kids, even if they were brats that probably deserved some time out for their behavior.

Aurora nodded listening to all the questions being thrown at Tomoe. Then heard the chimera make a suggestion that made a lot of sense. If Tomoe had a good idea where the kids were he likely would have found them by now and wouldn't have needed their help. So many it was time to just start a search party. "If we are going to split up into search parties, shouldn't we set a time, to all meet back up here, so no one else gets lost?? I think I'm going to search for caves in the area to see if they might be hiding in one. Anyone want to pair up with me??" Aurora asked. Aurora pulled a flashlight out of her backpack, as she looked around for someone to search with her. quote Looking for partner to search with. <3

Staying: Niamh had been silent, listening to the discussion, considering what was going on and how she could help... She wasn't THAT old, the kids might think her unworthy of respect... But she had to help, and she had to do her best. She stepped forwards, looking curiously at the unusual double tailed fellow, her eyes kind and gentle. "You said they like high places? I can... try to fly up, and look into such places, sir... I don't know if they'd listen to me, I'm not an adult, but I could at least let others know where they are if I see them? Would that help?" She wanted to hug the stranger, comfortingly, but she controlled herself. She had no idea how that would be achieved, or if it was even ok to this fellow's culture. All she could do was gaze earnestly, one set of heterochromic eyes focused on another.

Bridgette frowned as she watched everyone. She didn't know what else to ask and wasn't sure anymore information would help. At thing point she just wanted to get moving and looking for the kids. She hated feeling like she was useless and couldn't do anything. And right now that's how she felt. She had to get moving and do something! Anything! Anything would be better than nothing. She listened to the other questions and the answers and frowned a bit. She wasn't sure what good standing around here was doing. She flicked her eyes over to Tambre and nodded head head. She looked over at Aurora when she spoke too. "I want to go searching for them too. I don't know how either but I'm going to do my best to find the kids. Maybe I can track their scent or hear them. I'm not sure but I'm going to try." She was determined to find these kids no matter what. She wasn't sure where to look but she wanted to go out on the search party. "I'm up for search parties it sounds like the most effective way and also the most efficient. It's a good idea." She walked over to Tambre and Aurora after giving Tomeo another snack. "So where to?" She smiled at the two and waited rather excited to finally maybe be able to do something.

Tambre turned her eyes toward the Grimm and made a quick nod. She was sure that she could maybe make a better search team where she could fly, but it seemed like someone else already had that idea. So when Aurora made the suggestion to look in the caves, she agreed. "I'll go with you if you don't mind." She was happy to see that Bridgette seemed ready to come with them as well.

(Last part I mean the group in general not our group of three <3 ) Aurora nodded and said to Tambre "I'm Aurora." Then she turned to Bridgette and smiled. "Maybe we'll have better luck looking for kids together than we did finding food, but this task I certainly won't be playing games to try to better my luck. Let's head this way and see if we can't find the kids." Aurora said softly trying to sound sure and confident, though she was worried about these kids. "So say no more than an hour or two before we turn back and meet back up with the group again?? Do cell phones work out here could we leave someone here so we can text back and forth in case the kids show up back here??"

Staying: Gaius chuckled faintly, shaking his head lightly in dismissal. Honestly, he hadn't done a darn thing in being productive to get them out of the fog... if anything, he'd gotten a bit distracted by his curiosity of its mere existence!
All that was put on pause when he saw, and heard, the stumbling stranger come into view. Listening to the issue at hand, his eyes casually slid around to eye those with them. Student missing... well this guy hadn't been with them to begin with.. so it couldn't be one of them that was missing. Still. Kids lost, regardless of who, was not a good thing.
It made him begin to wonder if perhaps on him and the geists way in they had seen anyone that looked lost... couldn't see much at all, though... And he didn't know all who was part of their group to begin with. Either way, when the girl voiced her decision to stay, he too gave a nod to show that he was on board to help with the distressing situation. As his partner started calling out to someone, his eyes shifted about lazily again. Ah they had someone to go back to. Looking at the tether between them, he smirked lightly, "Maybe we should ask Claire about this, hm?" he mused.
Strawberri Stardust ahh sorry to intrude. If/when the strings are cut I'll make Gaius get out the way.
