Kins hands were clenched when he saw how his cousin was treated.. unfourtunatly he couldn't leave the table yet. There was no way the adults would let him visit Torin in the kitchen and too much was at stake for him to disobey now. Later.. he would approach him later.

he sat on the floor hugging his knees and gave kotaba a shaky smile as he held back tears "I'm ok... the're just mad because I messed up. I can't leave.. the're my parents... this is my home. It's normal ok.. don't get upset.. I'm ok.... *whispers* I'm ok."

It is not normal and it is NOT okay! Not even a little....oooooo if I wasnt a lotis guide I'd so kick their butts :vein on her head then she takes a deep breathe and calms::You watch the door and I'll make tyou something yummy. It has been quite a while after all. *He looked back down towards the table, rather shy of the parental figure in the household. Oh..uh, y-yes sir. *Kouta nodded in confirmation and looked around the room discretely. Even the dining room was enormous. Katty seemed to be right at home, but Kouta couldn't help but feel slightly uncomfortable with his new surroundings*

Torin watched her keeping one eye on the door even though he knew no one would be comming in. Kin wouldn't risk angering the family just so Torin could eat with him. "Do you know what your doing? I CAN cook us something you know... I like cooking."

He gave a small smile, eyes lighting up a bit "Ok... that works I guess." He gets up and takes out some ingrediants for a quick meal.. and starts instructing her on what to do.

He faultered for a moment before smiling and nodding "We can put that in your share.... uhh I don't eat ants personally nor do I know any humans that do. But I'm afraid I don't have any ants to put in for you."
