 Kalani was pretty proud they could name any of the elements at all! Most of it was just guess too. Seriously, who needed all those different elements? What were they supposed to do?

 Freddy was able to shrug off his performance with cheerful self-awareness. Memorization had never been his strong suit, he was too active to sit around and pay attention to lists of things. He liked science class though, so hopefully this wasn't a reflection on how the year would go for him.

 Jaden recited as far as he knew. He wasn't the best in the class by any means, but he took comfort in the fact that he wasn't the worst either. Honestly he'd been guessing on some of those elements.

 Rowan was pretty proud of their performance, though they did wish they could have done a bit better. It would have been amazing to be able to recite all the elements. Well, it was just incentive to do better!

 Alyssum felt pretty proud of her performance, actually. She tended to read a lot and had a pretty good head for remembering stuff, though she hadn't paid a whole lot of attention to the periodic table itself. There had just been some elements mentioned in one of the educational texts she'd read recently, and how they'd been used in recent times.

While Pyre was good at remembering things they were taught, the stress of a pop quiz made their cheeks blush with embarrassment. They were so bad at remembering things on the spot, and this was a very specific topic with reall big words... the Fallen still tried their best though, hoping they would get good marks just for trying.

Bliss had a rather good memory he was proud of. While the spelling was a little hard, the Naiad tried his best to please Flora with his answers. Even where he didn't know, at least he was a ham with his guesses. Still, overall confident, Bliss handed back the paper with a faint smile. He liked Science class even when they had quizzes.

 To most people remembering 89 of the elements on the periodic table would be an accomplishment, but she has still missed at least % percent and that irked her. Sidhe knew she could have been better than that. Sure Science normally wasn’t her favorite subject but it was still school work. She would just study harder so that next time she could get more than a C of all things. It was just how she was raised. You did your best, and you always strived for better next time. Come to think of it, she better also not tell Thomas or Khalil since they definitely didn’t like her studying all the time.

 It wasn’t as if Amatsu disliked Science; after all he was in the science dorm. Still his passion was really with games and ancient cultures. So he barely kept from making a face when the pop quiz was handed out, ugh there were soo many different elements to try to remember. It didn’t help that he got really nervous on quizzes, and often talked himself out of the right answer. So he was quite prepared to have gotten a terribly awful score. Looking at the 77, he knew he could have done a lot better, but then he was still a freshling and he was expecting way lower…. He would take it.

 Fiore was surprised as the rest of the class and joined in the collective groaning when the teacher mentioned they had a pop quiz today. Still she was pretty good with quizzes and science was her favorite subject. Nevermind that they had placed her in Arkham. So it was with a positive attitude that she attacked the quiz. Element after element name just popping up when she had recalled that song her mom had made up. Still when the quiz was handed back later she was surprised that out of 118 she missed four elements. “I’ll get you four next time though” Fiore vowed with an amused tone.

 Mielle decided the world hated her today. First there was actual exercise in P.E and now they were having a pop quiz. She really should have stayed home today she was going to flunk this quiz, especially since her head just felt like bblergh…. However staying home meant that she would have gotten a zero on the pop quiz and any points were better than a zero. She’d just do poorly and make it up somewhere else. Mmmm yep 33 was about what she thought would happen. Still it was all she could pull from her muddled head at the moment. Day was almost over. She could get through this.

 Okay Giotto could do this, it was just a test to show what he knew…. Except for no one would be going to him for science things or at least chemical science things or… he was just going to stop that train of thinking and focus on the paper. Focus… on the paper. He could do this. The teacher wasn’t expecting them to remember all 118. Just remember one element at a time. Hmm maybe he could totally ask his dad to make up a catchy song or something. It would make It easier to remember and if it was on a pop quiz it was definitely coming back later When they graded said pop quiz he realized he only got 77 of them right. Well it wasn’t too bad. It wasn’t the best and it was below a C if it had been a real test but it just meant he needed to study… and hit his dad or mom up for that song.

 Mimosa was not science-minded at all. She was incredibly surprised when she was somehow able to remember 33 of the elements on the periodic table. It came as a bit of a shock, but she was pleased all the same. At least, as pleased as someone like her could be.

 Armani was so ready for this. He was going to rock this test like nobody's business. Science was one of his passions, and the bakeneko was feeling quite confident in his abilities. ... Except, Armani hadn't slept the night before and ended up falling asleep mid test, and he didn't wake up until the bell rang, jolting the neko awake with a loud gasp. Aw, maaan. Only seven? How embarrassing ...

 Nemoi didn't care about some stupid test. Nemoi wanted to be outside, jumping in puddles and rolling around in the dirt. She didn't want to be confined indoors. She wanted to be out exploring. Instead, her she was, being forced to remember some stupid names for some stupid science terms for some stupid test. Nemoi only managed to jot down six before she decided to just eat the rest of her paper.
