Harmonia, Super Senshi of Harmony - with Ganymede and Co.

As Ganymede had requested, Harmonia prepared herself to cast her magic when prompted. Green eyes focused on their overall target, Laurelite, and she gulped back a lump in her throat. What am I doing here? Really!? Still, despite her want to run away there was literally no where to run to with their path to the portal completely blocked by a scythe wielding General Queen, her officers, and the multitude of youma. Harmonia had no other choice but to stand her ground.

Seeing others attack the General Queen was amazing in a way to the super senshi. So many people were throwing everything they had at this monster of a woman in an attempt to bring her down, or stall her enough to allow people to get out of negaspace. It was terrifying to witness, knowing that one, well aimed slash of that scythe could take any of them out like it had to many senshi already. Still, they kept going at her, and the General Queen was paying for it if only in her reduced speed.

Licking her lips, Harmonia shifted her sack of starseed to under her left arm and glanced at Babylon as he appeared. It seemed the Knight was also ready to boost the princess. Good, the more power the better, right? No sooner had she thought that did Ganymede shout at her. Fumbling for only a second Harmonia shot out her free hand towards Ganymede. "Spirit Resonance!" A golden beam shot from her hand and to Ganymede. Instantly the two of them became more aware of each other, and Harmonia tentatively 'called' to the princess through the link. "I can't do this long so go for it!"

Quote:

Super Sailor Scout Attack: Spirit Resonance
Harmonia links up with another person and increases their strength/power by 30% and can 'speak' mind to mind.
Duration -- 30 seconds 2x a battle
Avoided -- Link can be broken by physically attacking Harmonia.
Cons -- Cannot power herself up and whatever damage the person she links up with takes she also receives.

Elpis

Elpis grimaced, slowly catching her breath before being hit by Cor Caroli's magic, the senshi blinking before noticing, seeing who it was. And Porrima was here too? That... That was comforting in a way - they might actually succeed now and Ekpis nodded to both, straightening, scrapes and cuts and all, holding her tooth up.

"Been better. But don't normally pick fights with Negas bigger than me in power, ha ha!" The senshi laughed shakily. "I've been better. Thanks, Cor. Porrima, this is Cor Caroli. Cor, this is Porrima. I've been training her."

The senshi nodded, looking in the direction of Laurelite, Ganymede, and the others.

"We need to bring HER down. The Chaos agent's... Definaitely equal to a Royal Knight, possibly whatever she is." Elpis motioned to Ganymede, and huffed. "Didn't even register my attack... That's. That's a little alarming really. Need to figure out how to help get her down though. Could try my magic again. but already used it twice. i think it shrinks after use if it goes too much."

Which, possibly, meant one more go without some luck or miracle.

"Lacrimosa and Cybele went to help try to slow the b***h down. I just - I just need a plan."

Admit her alarm? No. It would scare both, and she didn't want her protoge or Cor Caroli scared further. Ferris was already shaken; Elpis didn't think more would do any good.

Sami-Fire
Elpis is totally freaking out though. Also below!

Sailor Alsafi

OK, soooo. These weird bad-feeling dudes were keeping them from absconding with her pillaged cache of starseeds, loot, in her mind - and Was that qa senshi in black? DUDE.

Alsafi watched Kitalpha curiously, before realizing the other wanted a fight, and she decided upon the only practical action available to her.

Alsafi she beamed, and ran, leaping for Kitalpha aggressively, cackling.

"HAVE AT THEE BLOCKER OF ROUTES!"

...Truly. TRULY a good plan.

Cordoba // Miss Kitty

OK, that didn't work well; the General wanted to kill Babylon and the other squire.

Cordoba didn't like that, remembering the starseeds she'd saved, the fight with Cavansite, and took a breath, before snarling, and launging for Witcheite herself,, reclling her disc before swinging it in her hand at the Negaverse agent's face, snarling.

"A NEW ********' CHALLENGER APPEARS!" She hissed. Maybe it might let Babylon help Ganymede?... Because maybe she could justy bludgeon the General. That might work.

Miss Kitty, meanwhile, sighed from Babylon's shoulder, nodding to him and watching Witchite cooly.

"Hello dear, don't let me distract evermuch." She crooned, grooming Babylon's hair slightly. "You simply looked in need of numbers."

And she watched from her perch, shifting to remain perched as she stuck her tongue out at Witcheite idly.

"Excuse you." She snapped at the General. "Butdo you not see my glow? You back off the babies right now or I'll be forced to introduce you to my teeth. Do NOT think I shan't! Final warning!"

Miss Kitty huffed, growling the wordw as she knead faintly in irritation. Oh, but to have her ferrets here! To turn her babies loose to save the other babies! Maybe next time.

Silverah
Oh s**t Cordoba did a thing without being scared.[/qoute]

Lt. Coffinite

He'd begun moving upon getting the call, but moving needed to be done carefully. Still, he finally arrived and the half youma studied the battlefiel, unhidden and heavily bored looking, half-lidded eyes studying the battlefield as he stretched. His General-Queen was battling fools, others were locked in battle - Coffinite gave a dark laugh, and moved forwards, six arms spread invitingly.

"Delightful, so many in the web. I knew my cards spake of interest; but this is a gift.

Sailors Megrez and Sadachbia- Vs. Longislandite

Sadachbia was doing just fine until something sharp clipped her back, making her cry out. A quick glance in the direction she thought the sharp thing came from revealed an apparently weaponless Captain in the vicinity, and it didn't take her long to put two and two together. "Oh, that does it," she snarled, taking off towards Longislandite. She didn't even hear Megrez calling after her before she called up her bricks. "Sadachbian Building Blocks!" When the bricks came into existence, she hurled them at the Captain, hoping to at least bruise her a bit. Two could play at this projectile game. And hopefully a melee game once she got in range. Could the Captain call back her weapon? She was hoping not; that would make things a tad complicated.

Quote:
Sailor Scout Attack: Sadachbian Building Blocks!

Raising her hands up like she's carrying something, Sadachbia calls out the attack name and summons two standard-sized bricks that drop into her hands. These bricks can be thrown at the enemy, though they're a bit lighter than normal bricks and so they won't really break anything if they hit someone (though it'll probably still hurt). The bricks crumble to dust upon contact with a target or the ground. Sadachbia cannot summon more bricks until she has used her current two or their time limit has expired (if not used, they'll disappear after 20 seconds). This attack can be used 3 times per battle for a total of 6 bricks.

Glitnir, Knight of Mars- Vs. Laurelite

God, that look was chilling. A shudder rippled through Glitnir's body as he tried to suppress a feeling of dread. It looked like people were gearing up for a big attack, and so he had to do his part. He kept his hand on his scale, determined to continue channeling his magic at Laurelite. Even if she didn't feel guilt, the pressure from the magic would help slow her a little and make her a better target for everyone else aiming at her.

The Space Cauldron
Still channeling guilt magic at Laurelite!

Sailors Cor Caroli and Porrima- With Elpis

"Nice to meet you," Porrima said to Cor Caroli, who nodded back.

Cor Caroli looked to Elpis, then to Laurelite, then back. "I know. I've felt her aura before at least twice. It's big, it's scary, it's nasty, and when it shows up, someone's going down and not coming back. Not as themselves, anyway." A certain someone's corruption still lingered on the fringes of his mind, as much as he tried to discard it entirely. "A plan, huh..." he paused, mining his mind to see if there was anything he could do.

Porrima, meanwhile, was quicker to come up with something. "My magic can ban either physical attacks or magic attacks. I think, maybe if I ban physical attacks from her, you might be free to get some shots in. It doesn't last too long though, so you'd have to act quickly. Would it even work on someone that powerful?" Despite herself, Porrima shuddered. She was merely a basic senshi; trying to cast her basic magic on a whopper-huge General-Queen might end up just being laughed off. If it didn't work, she'd create a huge liability for everyone. "Do you think it's worth the risk? This is one case where it might actually hurt to try, or at least to fail. If she notices there's magic, but it doesn't work, it might draw her attention right over here... hmm."

Cor Caroli sighed and shook his head. "I don't know how much help I'll be. I have no offensive skills whatsoever, and I'm pretty sure that that General-Queen could slice and dice me before I even said 'go.'" He was always left feeling a bit bitter at how incredibly defensive his magic was; he was a supporter, not a fighter. Sure, he could help people squeeze out that last bit of energy, but how helpful would that be when the opponent could kill you with a sneeze?

NovaCracker
Porrima has a plan! Also see Kitalpha below.

Corrupt Sailor Kitalpha- Vs. Alsafi

Kitalpha's zipping through the crowd was interrupted by a senshi dive-bombing her. "Whoawhoawhoa- WHAT THE ********?!" she hollered as Alsafi bowled her over. She flailed and kicked and clawed before trying to pull herself out from under the senshi, hoping to clobber her at least a bit from the close proximity. Could she cast her magic from here? No, probably not. She'd get canceled before she even got halfway through the dart-throwing magic gesture. Once she got up, though, this lady was in for a world of pain... the key words being "once she got up." "Get OFF me, you lardass! Geez, what are they feeding you people over there?" More flailing and kicking and clawing ensued.

Elpis

"Gggghhhhh." Elpis mused. "If we try that, I recommend using it to help her." Elpis motioned to Ganymede, frowning a bit.

"If she can corrupt someone, then we're looking at the risks of close range getting corrupted, or worse. We don't know her magic either. But if it can help someone on footing..."

The Super senshi did seem deflated a bit, frowning as she looked to Cor Caroli.

"Thanks for that warning, Cor." She murmured.

It was genuine - Elpis didn't want to get caught, to get corrupted, but Elpis also was running low on ideas; a first for her.

And it bothered her.

Sailor Asafi

Alsafi grinned, affirming her grip as she cackled, remaining affixed to Kitalpha idly, looking down with a grin.

"Food, noodles-brain." Alsafi cackled, and squeezed, grinning.

"Doesn't hurt you stepped near a dragon~"

....Well, she tried,

Lieutenant Aluminite - Falling on Tourmaline

Aluminte hated every single minute of this day, starting from when he was summoned to escalating when he'd been hit by the flaming bull and been sent soaring through the air only to land on small, petite, Tourmaline. They were a tangle of limbs, with his larger mass eclipsing her.

With a groan, more effort than he wished to admit, and flushed cheeks the man had managed to untangle himself from the girl. The front of his uniform was singed, looked nice an toasty from the heat of the bull. In fact there was a part on his shoulder that was still on fire and well, he panicked.

If he shrieked a little in his scramble to put the fire out, well he'd deny it 100% because grown men don't shriek.

When his little fit had subsided he turned to Tourmaline, with a quick glance at Dia who'd already moved on, and he grimaced at her. "I am really, really sorry. You know - you know I didn't mean to land on you but I guess thanks for breaking my fall?"

Oh god, could he get any more awkward?

Lieutenant Marcasite - battling Myrrha

Between the lunge and Mrryha stepping up to the plate, Marcasite hit the ground on her hands and knees. Her opponent had bounced backward, stumbled around on the ground and the lieutenant was scrambling forward a sound that was a mix between simple growl and a vicious snarl escaped her.

"You wanna play, let's play," she quipped, cracking her neck and flexing her fingers before curling them into fists.

She darted forward again, pulling her arms close to her chest as she ran before straightening and throwing two punches at the senshi. One aimed at the face and the second at the gut.

Sailor Altais - Engaged in battle with Prehnite!

Altais cheerful grin almost faded with the lieutenant came diving at him and he made a 'ohp.' sound. Then she senshi was rolling out of the way of a hit and shaking his head.

"We didn't even exchange names yet?" The Senshi laughed and sprung from one foot to the other. "If we're to dance, my friend, then we should at least know each other's names, no?" Plus Altais was totally okay with being this dudes target. So long as he didn't hurt anyone else.

"I'm Altais, friends call me Al." and then he smiled, "Smart is not for the reckless and that's what our little group seems to be about. So how about we wreck this?"

Princess Ganymede, facing off with Laurelite, using her crystal.

She was being bombarded by magic from all sides. But it was friendly magic, and Ganymede welcomed it. Before Laurelite dropped her weapon, Ganymede'd felt a sharp increase in concentration from Cybele's arrow, and that continued. Suddenly, it much easier to overlook the dead and dying around her. Not in a bad way. She knew they were there. She did not forget them. She still felt pity and heartbreak, but she was able to focus more on her opponent and less on her surroundings.

They needed to take Laurelite out. They couldn't afford to let her live, whether they made it out of here or not.

Babylon was there, ready to give her his energy. Harmonia used her attack, and Ganymede heard the Super Senshi speaking to her. How? It didn't seem like verbal speech, but something spoken directly into her mind.

She had no time to figure it out right now. Ganymede nodded in response and focused her mind on sending a message back, though she was unsure if it would work or not.

This won't take long. Get ready to run. Help as many people as you can. Some of our own are going to be affected, too.

It was going to hurt Gev.

It was going to hurt Cyllene. Technically, she was not one of their own, but Ganymede already felt regret for what she was about to do.

She did not look forward to hearing their screams.

Ganymede hesitated for a few seconds more, sparing another look toward Valhalla. She hoped he would listen to her and get Gev out. She hoped he would believe that she had every intention of following.

She didn't. As much pain as this would cause Laurelite, Ganymede didn't think it would be enough to take her out completely.

She had to finish this, no matter what it took to do so. It was very likely that this would zap her of much of her remaining strength. She'd already used her Eternal magic twice, and the fight against Apatite had not been easy. She was exhausted. She knew she couldn't hope to last much longer.

But she had to try. There were few other options left, if any.

Ganymede turned her attention back to the General Queen. She concentrated on her crystal, pulling as much power as she was able to out of the depths of her soul.

She spoked slowly. She didn't shout it, didn't bellow over the sounds of battle. More than anyone else, this was for Laurelite to hear.

“Ganymede Crystal Power.”

Quote:
Ganymede Crystal Power
All targets within 150 ft of Ganymede find themselves overcome by a sense of desire that manifests physically as a painful heating of the body. The heat becomes so strong it feels almost as if their blood is boiling, like they are burning up from the inside. Targets include all those infected by Chaos, as well as those of Order who have ever given into their bloodlust and committed murder. The sensation lasts a full 30 seconds. Targets are likely to feel weak and disoriented afterwards.

Quote:
I get questions about what "given into their bloodlust and committed murder means," so here is what I hope is an easy way to determine which Order characters this would affect.

If you've killed someone, did you need to (self-defense), or did you want to? If you wanted to, this affects you.

If it was both, this still affects you, because you still wanted to.

Sailor Cybele- Near Ganymede. Bleeding and burning, could use some help.

Cybele watched as the glow of her magic surrounded Ganymede. Hopefully, her magic, along with the others', would be enough to give their Princess advantage and stop the General-Queen.

That done, she smiled at her allies and let herself hope they would get out of here and maybe even take out another powerful enemy as Ganymede called her magic. She didn't understand what was happening as that warm hope turned to hot, dark desire. She wanted another ambush. She wanted to give their castle another coat of blood. She wanted to feel Laurelite's skull crack beneath her feet- but no, this wasn't right, this was like Warhol's magic, was Warhol here? There wasn't time to think about that, though. Suddenly, there wasn't time to think of anything besides how much it hurt. The wound she'd gotten earlier was nothing compared to this.

She didn't know that she was screaming, but she was. Slowly, she fell to her knees.

Lt. Sylvite- Ouch.

There was a moment that was all adrenaline and power and fun as her improvised attack was a smashing success, but then everything went terribly wrong. She had too much momentum and she was suddenly falling, too, and her mind was a spinning, freaked out mess before she even landed, before the slap even happened.

A regular slap would have hurt, yeah, but the slap of an Eternal Senshi was enough to send her flying. She slammed into the ground a few feet away, landing hard on her side with a gasp, her face still tingling and her vision spinning a little. She lay there for a moment, breathing heavily, and then she felt it- that need to destroy each member of Order, starting with the girl in front of her. Except this time, instead of being cold, it was hot. Then, it got hotter... and hotter, and hotter, until it burned, until Sylvite couldn't stand it anymore, but it didn't go away. She stayed on the ground, curling up a little as she began to sob.

Lace, Guardian Chaos Cat

Lace, was one moment, running after the boys to help them, trying to figure out her and the next, feeling as if her whole tiny body was on fire. She burned with such a feeling that her body quivered and then collapsed, a soft mewling sound emitting from her.

"S...Se...Sera..." She meowed, with tears forming at her eyes. She didn't like this, she didn't want to feel this. Sera, she needed your help.

Captain Aquamarine, with Jet, Seraphinite, and Lace, confronting Newgrange

Aquamarine actually took a moment to consider Newgrange's counter-offer. It wasn't as if Aquamarine really wanted to be there anyway. Messing with a Squire wasn't any more interesting to him than messing with a Senshi was. But they had orders. And their orders were to eliminate the enemy. Even if Aquamarine didn't plan on doing any of the eliminating, he still intended to watch Jet's back.

He almost reached out to grab Jet's arm and pull him away. A measly Squire wasn't worth the risk of making his injuries worse. Aquamarine didn't really care how much Jet bitched and moaned about it. Someone had to be the logical one in their little trio, and Aquamarine would go to his grave insisting that that someone was him.

Then something happened. He wasn't entirely sure what it was, but Aquamarine began to feel a little... hot.

A lot hot, actually. He tugged at the collar of his uniform jacket because the heat made it feel strangling, but naturally that didn't do anything to help.

“What the...”

He didn't get to utter the “******** was overcome by a searing, crippling pain. He didn't know what caused it, or where it came from. It felt like it was in his blood, racing through his body, like he was on fire. Boiling. His dagger dropped out of his hand. He let out a strangled cry and fell to his knees. It hurt to move. It hurt to breathe.

Out of the corner of his eye, Aquamarine saw the cat (Lace) crumple too. He tried to turn his head to see if Sera felt it, but the effort was difficult and he stopped before he could turn his head too far, shifting his eyes toward Jet instead.

“Jet...” he wheezed. “What...”

His face was red with the effort to restrain himself, his eyes wide from the shock and the pain. He broke out into a sweat. He clawed at his uniform jacket, fumbling with the chains and buttons, trying to rip it off. As if that could possibly help.

This had to be some sort of magic. There was no other explanation for it. Some Senshi or Knight had to be responsible.

And the only Knight currently within range was Newgrange.

You...” Aquamarine seethed, mustering up the effort to glare at the Squire, even as he slumped onto the ground on his hands and knees.

Sailors Megrez and Sadachbia- Sadachbia is vs. Longislandite, Megrez is crumpling under Ganymede Crystal Power

Megrez should have known trouble was going to come down when she saw Ganymede in full Princess regalia. She had no way of knowing what Ganymede's crystal power was, but she was doing SOMETHING, and from the looks of some on the side of Order (was that Cybele over there?), it was causing friendly fire. She wanted to go up to the Princess, warn her about what was happening, but then whatever was going on hit her too. It started as a faint ember of "wanting," an urge to love and protect by all means (mostly the more forceful means), but then the ember flared inside her drastically. The world became superheated, and Megrez felt burning. From the inside out, everything was fire and pain. The world spun around her as the fire raged, and she crumpled to her knees, thoroughly dizzy from agony. "G-Ganymede... No..." she sputtered, trying to stay conscious through the burning. "Friendly... FIRE!" she squeaked through her struggles.

Sadachbia, meanwhile, was too focused on her charge towards Longislandite. It didn't even register to her that she had lost Megrez a ways back; she was going to clobber herself a captain if she could.

Sailors Cor Caroli and Porrima- with Elpis

Cor Caroli grimaced apologetically. "I'm sorry. Really. Wish I could be more help." God, it sucked being the resident Spoony Bard with only support attacks and no ability to fight out of a paper bag! He needed to fix this problem somehow. Maybe someone would be willing to train him, somewhere, but thinking of the future wasn't going to do him a whole lot of good right now. He needed to think of some way to help in the here and now, and it looked hopeless.

"Sounds like I should ban physical attacks," Porrima said, her gaze drifting towards Laurelite and, by extension, Ganymede. Who's the one with the wings? She's quite picturesque. If I meet her again after this is all over, I should offer her a portrait. "Here goes nothing. It looks like she's getting rushed by others, so maybe she'll be too busy dealing with them to see the magic's coming from me." She sucked in a deep breath, then thrust her pointer finger forward and called out her magic.

"Court Objection!"

Quote:
Sailor Scout Attack: Court Objection!

Porrima points at an enemy and calls out the name of the attack. She gains the power to change a "rule" of the battlefield (in an area within 6 feet max) for one person for 20 seconds. What this means is that she can "ban" magic or direct physical attacks from that person for that period of time (ie. magic fails to take effect or direct fist-to-flesh attacks are deflected). She does not need to say out loud what attack type is being banned, but it will be clearly marked OOCly. This attack can be used twice per battle.

The Space Cauldron
Porrima has banned direct physical attacks from Laurelite! ...Assuming it works. If it shouldn't work because of the power level difference, just ignore this. :'D

Corrupt Sailor Kitalpha- Vs. Alsafi

Even with Alsafi pinning her down, Kitalpha continued to flail and struggle as much as she could, along with hurling her special brand of invective. "Dragon? What the ******** are you talking about?! Are you one of those 'Otherkin' people who think they're like, seriously actually a Pikachu or something? You're HUMAN, you idiot!" She could deal with a lecture on denying people's identities later; what mattered now was getting this goddamn senshi OFF of her. Unfortunately, her efforts were swiftly canceled by a feverish feeling surging through her. It was like a sunburn that somehow made itself felt on the inside just as much as the outside, and good god did it hurt. "Wha... what the..." Her voice became more tremulous as the burning surged in intensity. "What did you do?!"

Lt. Paracelsian- Crumpling on the edges of the fray

So far Paracelsian had slipped around unnoticed, though he didn't really see any particularly open targets. That was fine; a weak spot would reveal itself in time. At least, he thought it was fine till the burning started. The battlefield was no place to rip off clothes, but he was left wishing he could do so. I want to rip off my skin and sit around in my bones, he thought as the burning intensified and the world began to blur. Slowly, slowly, he sunk to his knees, then to his hands, and even they began to wobble. This is no time for a nap, but what IS this, anyway? It was like nothing he had ever felt before. Was this what Order was truly capable of?

Lt Vegemite (disposable, running over from the castle)

I want my promotion, thought Lieutenant Vegemite, as she joined the throng of youma in chasing the wretched invaders out of the castle.

I want my promotion, she thought, as she realised her superior officers had left her behind, teleporting away to intercept at their leisure, while she struggled along on foot. Her high heels clacked against the stones.

I want my *promotion*, she thought, as she grabbed a discarded kitchen knife and slashed long thigh-high slits into her uniform pencil skirt, so her legs actually had room to move. She quickened her stride.

By the time she reached the new battlefront, things were well under way. A quick survey indicated that her faction had rallied, and the Order force was going to get an extremely well-deserved and bloody come-uppance for their unprecedented and unwelcome house visit. But now she was here, she needed to make it look like she hadn’t been late. When the dust settled, her general or one of the captains needed to see her, preferably with the still-shining starseed of an enemy in her hands. It was a neater offering than head-on-a-platter. If Apatite had fallen, that meant there was room at the top, right? It was more important than ever to pick up some positive attention.

Lt. Vegemite still had some run left in her, and continued her progress through the battlefield. The youma were a mobile shield she used to get around the invaders she didn’t want to fight. But all was not going well. General-Queen Laurelite had dropped her weapon, and stood as if frozen. The source was easy to see – the ones that had ganged up on Apatite were trying out the same tricks on Laurelite, and it looked like only one corrupted senshi was standing between them and the General-Queen.

She didn’t know what the princess’s dreadful glow meant. She only knew that a small plastic jar wasn’t much use in battle, and these guys were powerful, and a hand in the chest stopped most people in their tracks. If she just got the angle right...

“These assholes took down Apatite,” she called to the Corrupt in warning.

She flexed her fingers and moved forward to pounce upon the higher-value target, but before she got more than a step closer to the Princess, a horrifying, crippling burn shot through her. She wanted. She wanted so bad. To kill them all, to feel their life-forces torn from their bodies. To earn the promotion she so richly deserved. It swept through her in waves of heat, turning her to toast on the inside, and she quickly doubled over, dropped to her knees, curling up like the edges of toasted cheese in the grill. It was like fire creeping in her blood, bubbling and blackening. Senshi magic. Those utter bastards.

Sailor Etamin, Senshi of Hieroglyphics

Etamin was scratched and bleeding, from his first encounter. So the cat (Tomlin) refused to help with his first plan.. the royal sailor (Gandymede used her attack, and many were feeling it, even some Order Members, but he was not for some reason. A 6 armed half youma (Lt. Coffinite) seemed somewhat unaffected by the pain. He looked ready to start an attack.

Etamin was already behind him (Lt. Coffinite) and just had to get closer , by carefully stepping over bodies (some still alive) and then used his magic when he got close enough.

Sailor Scout Attack: Pharaoh's Curse
