"You're looking a little peckish, sugar." Eyes roamed over the tall man, who indeed was looking a bit worse for wear at the moment. The idea struck her, suddenly, and the woman reached into her purse. Digging around for several minutes, she finally retrieved what she was searching for: a bottle of pills she'd picked up along the way. The label was faded, but she'd guess they were vitamins of some sort. Or like the energy pills one would find at a seedy gas station for truckers, by the cash register.

Al merely grunted at that, not about to admit a goddamn thing. His stomach was rumbling though, it was true, and he eyed the pills she was offering him doubtfully. Too. Many. Sweaters. Austin had layered on as many as he could wear and he still had a spare. And he couldn't eat a towel. So he went a-hunting for someone he might be able to coax to give up a little food in return for one of his extras.

Austin looked Granny over with a critical sort of eye -- and then held out one of the sweaters, clinging to it until she passed him the spam. Then he'd let go. He'd been wearing it, at some point. It was just a little stinky. But at least it was warm.

Ellie had a radio she couldn't use... The shy, brown haired girl was usually pretty tech savvy... But this radio didn't seem to want to work no matter what she did with it... She'd found it in the Casino on one of her scavengings, but now decided she should trade it for something more useful. That was why, the shy, socially awkward girl was standing in the middle of the junkyard calling out in a soft shy voice with a pronounced stutter- "W-would anybody l-like to t-trade? I-I'd like s-something warmer p-please..." the call wasn't very forceful and she felt quite awkward just standing there calling out for a trade... But this is what you were supposed to do, right...?
