He charged in on Oltia, letting his long lance spear an Alkidike before they managed to close. He used his strong muscles to swing the lance around, tossing off the speared body to hit another Alkidike as Oltia dashed about, hissing and snapping at the tall targets. For her,this was fun! She wasn't normally allowed to bite people...

Rayolun made sure to stay near Lasarra, but not so close she had to worry about hitting him with her hip. Instead, he focused on keeping any Alkidike from passing by him. his trident slashing and jabbing as he slowly walked forward. Eino gave a loud roar and charged into combat; with no rider on him he could really go wild for once!

Vollerei shook her head as she heard the attacking start. Figures that someone would decide to ambush my stupid hot headed sisters from behind.. Smart of them for combat reasons.... foolish because that would merely make people think of them as cowards. Oh well, what is done is done.. and the winners do get to write the history and songs of what happens here, she thought wryly. She charged to meet her sisters in battle; not for here was waiting in line for people to come to her, she always charged. She tried to keep her attacks as non lethal as possible, going for legs and arms or simply breaking weapons when she could. Get them out and away. It hurt her to do this, and her softness earned her a few wounds as a cost. She dodged one spear jab and stepped on it. Looking the young girl in the eyes as she put her full wight on the shaft and snapped it. "Get out of here. Go home and live instead of dying for a stupid cause." She said before moving on.
She looked for the leaders; the ones that were leading this whole disaster, the ones who (other than the mystics who'd apparently become arrogant and stupid) were leading her people towards a life of arrogance, war, and hatred. Her eyes narrowed as she spotted one; that would be the first to truly die. These she would gladly kill.

She was super nervous, her hand tight on the whip handle as she saw the tall and too large race of women come charging. I wish I was one of the ones hitting from behind, she thought before they hit, then I wouldn't have to watch them charge....
She stayed near Nuri and his friend, using her whip to keep people from flanking Smba as her Xaraan when to town. He may be part racer.. but he was a beast. Tamed or not he knew how to fight and use her beak an, tail, and strong legs to kill.
"Could you be more embarrassing soldier boy?" She said snarkily to Nuri. "Why not start singing hymns while you're at it?" He really was all gung ho about being a soldier now wasn't he? Silly boy.

As the battle progressed her worry for the two girls lessened. She felt like no one was getting past them, and the fact that they had a hoard of animals around them didn't hurt either. It was almost amusing how much she felt like her old self, and alarming. Maybe this was what she needed to feel strong again.

She nodded towards Wyome. "Yes, that's a good start. Anyone else can help if they want." she said as she looked at the group gathered in the tent. As the fight started she said a little prayer, hoping that all of the people that she knew would come out of the battle safe. So far they had no bodies, so that was a good sign.

Cyn nodded in agreement once he heard the leaders bark orders. "I'll do the same then Shalvesta." Turning to face her for a moment, Cyn looked her up and down for a moment committing her features to memory. "If I catch someone sneaking up on ya I'll give em a new piercing." With a quick wave Cyn started off to where the Archers were being told to go. As soon as Cyn had gotten into position all hell broke loose as the war started before his very eyes. He didn't even have time to process what was going on, or what was being done. Had talks of peace ended so quickly? Fighting erupted all around him, and Cyn knew he would have to join in soon enough.
Raising his bow up, Cyn scanned the lines from where he stood and drew back an arrow. As he did so, his whole body became a sensor to the world around him. Small gusts of wind or lack there of told him how to adjust his aim, while his eyes tracked targets, and his ears listened to the carnage around him trying to pick out threats he couldn't see. "I'm sorry." Cyn unconsciously muttered that as he let the arrow fire from his bow. He only hoped the target hit by his arrow would be incapacitated, taken from the battle. Hesitation took control of his actions, but yet Cyn had still fired knowing it had to be done.

Chimelu || Post Two || Nuawahn, Tahira || "Attacking" mob || PrenticeWhen a guy who couldn't be much older than him--if not the same age--appeared Chimelu was at first a little lost as to what to say. He was friends with water-people? Not that he had a problem with it in the least but seeing as how he'd never met any water-people before, it was quite a shock to be talking with someone who had. Just as Chimelu was about to shake his head a young female alkidike appeared and seemed to know the stranger. They quickly embraced and the guy once more explained he was looking for his friends. It seemed things were getting stranger and stranger by the moment. Not only did this fellow wind guy know some water people but he also knew an alkidike. In fact they seemed to be old friends from the way he embraced her. For just a moment, Chimelu felt as if he'd never really seen the world before.
Just then some arrows began to filter into the area they were in and the guy (apparently a magic wielder) cast some kind of protective spell. "Uhhh.... Thanks." Chimelu said with a slight grin as he looked in the direction from which the arrows came. "I haven't seen your friends. I've never met a water person before." He further added as he let the arrow he had been holding in his bow fly through the air. Now that the fighting was getting more intense he was unable to tell if his shot had hit a target. He just hoped it wasn't a friendly-fire.

Knocking back an arrow from her quiver Maya had little trouble aiming again. Though without Kakkara's teeth it was unlikely that the damage would be as effective this time around. Pulling the arrow back as tightly as she could Maya let the weapon soar right towards the woman she currently held eyes on. As much as she wanted to bring down the Matron she respected her too much and as a Mystic who lead before Eshe, she was still a mystic and still vital to her tribe. She would never have the heart to strike at the woman.

Kalliope Post 15As she was looking she noticed the small grouping of Obans that she had tagged as friends. Kalli smiled. When someone spoke to her she turned her head to look at them. "I'd like to keep an eye out for Alkidikes or injured who need assistance." She gave her most apologetic look, though she would help if she was truly needed. By the time she looked back to where her friends were fighting she notice something alarming. Before she could say anything to those inside the tent she took off at a run. The tiny dancer was fast moving. As she got closer to Saraf she saw an Alkidike that was going to strike at him and she gave a shriek as she leaped at the woman and latched on. "Saraf!" Kalli didn't have time to grab her dagger so she did the next best thing. Fight like a girl. Scratching and hair pulling, with some biting mixed in. "Get. Away. From. Him. Ahh!" Orpheus Solon XD Sorry, Kalli got antsy.

After that last comment she didn't have enough time to think of retorts or jokes to make; she and Simba had their work cut out for them keeping the Alkidikes at bay.. Or at least she did. Sanele did not like this fight at all; it was hard to kill someone who was that much taller than you, had longer reach weapons, and seemed more into the fight than she was! She was at least managing to keep Simba safe and unharmed so far.. other than the few light gashes on his haunches that made her fume.

Vollerei dodged the leader's return blow and fought in deadly silence. She didn't grin, laugh, or mock her opponent as she would normally. Today was not the day for fun fights. Today she wielded her weapon against her sisters; it was a sad and dark day. She shook her head when the other asked her angrily why she would do this.
"Because it is the right thing to do... and what you are doing here in Suati is wrong. This is not our land. We have no right to it, no right to kill and conquer other clans just to claim lands we don't even need." She responded softly, her voice sad as she twisted to the side to avoid the next jab. She didn't quite make it, and felt a sting followed the warmth of blood spilling out.
