*Ruji seemed in thought a moment, "it is indeed the fact of hunger it seems that drives upon me. Yes show me this world, at least a partner in understanding the strangeness I'm to become accustom too. For that I will within your graditude Miss Evelyn." He gave a slight bow of his head, but again this wasn't a joke to him, but dead serious.
When they were in a resteront and he sat down too look at menus he quickly understood how the foods were displayed. When the watress came over to take the order he said: "A loaf my dear would be all I require." He pulled some stuff from his pockets, eye them as he placed a few coins, a stack of money yuji placed in his pants pocket which he put back for some reason even though he had no idea what it was for, and pulled out a childs Cozzu (the little noise maker thing you blow into XD no idea how to spell it) "I have no idea what this is, but I will humbally trade these metal spects, and this thing here..." he put the cozzu down... thought about it and snatched it back up putting back in his pocket, "perhaps that is important... on second thought I will also place on trade this small cloth..." he put a bandana down and looked to the women for an aswer. Course she was confused and just staring before looking to Evelyn, "ummm..."

Evelyn slowly brought her hand to her face in embarrassment with a large sigh before she looked to the waitress. "I'm sorry, he's new to this stuff." She looked to Ruji. "You don't pay until after we've eaten, doofus. Just let me pay, okay? Watch how I do things. Don't try to do them for yourself until you're sure of what you need to do." She looked to the waitress. "He'll have a full three course meat feast." She brought her finger to her mouth, knowing full well she was completely ignoring what he had already ordered for himself. "And maybe.. I could have some fish.." Her eyes glittered. "Yes. I'll have some fish." She nodded. "And a bottle of wine." She rose an eyebrow.

*He didn't understand at all. Meat meal? But the meat was for the royals... he was but a pessent. Or so he thought. He also didn't know Evelyn was a cat yet... nor a Deamon either. He nodded however and kept quiet until the women nodded writing down the order, "alright, i'll be out with it in no time..." she gave the man an extra glance before moving up front to give the order to the chefs in the back. He leaned, "what did I do wrong? I do not understand what you ment by after you eat? How is it a fair trade if both sides do not choose the value of what is to be traded between the two?" He also sat back, "and what did you mean earlier when you said you don't eat? And what is this WINE you spoke of?" He was bemused with questions, but surly going to learn all the answers one way or another. "I do understand the order of fish however... a vary simple tradable and resourceful food. But aren't we not the pessents? I relized there was more in these pitcures on this... odd feeling parchment (plastic menu), but Bread is all the Pressents had in my day. I was just using what I know." He tried to come up with his excuses, but wether or not Evelyn would by them or enjoy the funny point was to come.

Evelyn burst out into laughter. "Okay, I'll answer all your questions as seriously as I possibly can." She put her head on her hands with a grin. "Paying after eating in a restaurant is just a normal social construct these days. I suppose it could have stemmed from if you weren't pleased with your food then you could just not pay. Things a little more complicated than that now but even so." She tilted her head. "I did say I don't eat and it's still true. Mortal food doesn't give me any satisfaction.. however.." She licked her lips. "I have an affinity for fish.. well.. because my other form is a cat.." She snickered. "And wine is.. a drink. Just a drink." She nodded. "We're not peasants at all. Didn't you see that place we were at before? That's where we live. Yuji used to be a king, which got taken over by his daughter, and now his son. They're royalty. We're richer than we know what to do with."

*Ruji actually frowned, which looked majorly hilarious, "but that castle was but a wee small... Vary well. That would explain the two times I was released in this day and age... why Yuji was so... how shall I put it, protective over the fact of where we were. Thus is why he probably had not let me wonder. It makes good sense now, this whole time I thought he was keeping me for personal gain, but he was shielding me from a world I do not understand... and I never been a Royal before either. That's... disturbing news frankly." He nodded and leaned on his arms a bit as he cupped them together to think, "however more to the experience of meeting a real life Evolution of a saber cat is interesting. You can now become that of a man... or women in your case! Haha" he slapped the table and leaned back, "makes no sense at all too me! However most interesting indeed~" He shrugged, "but if you do now consume human food, there must be something you must eat? In my time the sabers would swallow man as simple dinner." Now they were making conversation.

Evelyn giggled awkwardly as she then leaned back in her seat and looked away. "Uhh.. well I'm not a saber cat, you know." She looked back to him and tapped the side of her head as her normal pupil changed into a cat eye and the purple colour became more intense. "I'm a Daemon." She snickered. "And a god damn powerful one too. People call me the rebel acid demon. I ended up separating from the original core of demons and evaded getting punished by Lucifer." She shrugged. "Ended up eating a s**t load of demon souls and now I'm an Archdemon. This stuff just happens." She giggled. "Which leads me to tell you that I eat souls. My favourite's are humans. Then powerful demons, although I'm not a big fan of cannibalism. Oh well."

*Upon the word Demon he stood up, eyes wide as if ready to take her out. She needed to remember, first off where he was from, Demons were the most tarrable evil there was, and second he was the defence aginst demons back in his day using spirit shimigami. Telling him this really made him feel challenged, and he was ready to take action... but then hearing she also turned on the demons, he hesitated to sit back down. He had to remember, things were different in this time. That and the waiter was standing there with plates on a platter with wide eyes of his sudden action. He slowly sat down again and tried to calm his nerves as he whispered staring at Evelyn like she was evil, "appreshation miss." He replied as the waiter placed the plates down quickly, but instead of pouring drinks she just put the bottle of wine down and left quickly. He stared at Evelyn Long and hard. As if deciding to trust her or not all over again. His stomach growling broke him out of it though and he was reminded he needed food. "I... apploligze for my... reaction... Habits... that don't seem to get old." He spoke with his storng serious voice more so then before as if ready for battle at any moment. She didn't mean too obiouvly but she really sturred him up as he started checking out the plates, "a feast fit for a king..." he replied in mumble to himself trying to figure out what the fork was. In his day and age, finger foods were the only way~

Evelyn sighed. "Yeah I get that reaction a lot." She got a glass for herself and poured herself some wine. "But you don't have to worry about me. I used to be a pretty bad person, you know. Usual demon things. This family changes you. Believe it or not at one point I worked for an organisation specifically worked on hunting down demons, and they used my power to help find hordes. Pretty ironic really. I'm perfectly willing to sell out my own kind." She took a sip of her wine and grinned. She was used to untrusting looks, she got them every day. Walking around town was chore enough. People still didn't trust the way that the Yokai family worked with demons, especially ones as powerful as her. It didn't help that Evelyn was so cynical, either. "I got bound to one of Yuji's kids playmates to keep me in this world otherwise I would have died. So in turn I've become a lot more like how I used to be when I was actually living. I feel more human than I do Demon these days, and it doesn't feel nice." She grumbled. "Probably what being in a relationship with a soppy b*****d gets me." She poured him a drink and handed him the glass. "Try some of this, loosen up a little."

He carfuly too took the wine in the glass and gulped it down, "thanks I was quiet partched... I like the taste..." he replied as he nodded understanding what a knife was for, tossing the fork to the side and cutting up the meat, "I see so your a Demon who's changed her ways. Interesting, in my day that wasn't anything close to how it would ever become to be. Demons... were hell spawn, who would eat he souls of all mankind if they were aloud. We were defenseless aginst them, and there trickery. I lost my sister to them." He stopped with a memory in mind as he continued, "I was traing her in the way of summoning the sprits of shimigami. She had just learned to summon hers when they took her from me. It was then I vowed to take down all in my path." he looked up, "however times have changed it seems. I have a feeling your not of trickery for my soul, therefor..." he held out the glass so she would give him more, "again I apologize for my actions and accept your help as an ally." He then dug into the meat, eating it quickly like it was his last meal, but not like a babbarn or anything, it was on bite at a time, and he was neat about it almost like a gentalman... he just used a knife as a fork and knife instead of his hands or the fork. No harm done though. "Seems to me however, this family takes pride in you, demon or not. That's a good compliment on your part." He nodded.

Evelyn watched wide-eyed as he gulped down all of his glass of wine, and slowly moved to pour him another glass. "Okay.." She then nodded as she started on her fish, pupils dilating as she took her first bite. "They put a lot of time and effort into me I guess. And I help them out with everything. It's like I'm part of the family, but not blood. It's weird. So many people stay with the family who aren't actually blood related. But are just accepted as family. Me, Kiiro.." Her eyes suddenly widened. "Oh dear." She frowned a little as she looked back to Ruji. "You're not going to like this, if you're not a fan of demons..."

He rose a brow and pulled his glass back, "not like what? There was nothing worse then a demon in my time, I dought I would know of anything else." He nodded, "a shame they still exist as the people then feared. As far as your family goes however, that means they are vary accepting people, and fortcion favors them. Not just in wealth, but also in judgment. Blood related family eventfully disappear over time, but none blood related carried on many centreys." He finished the first plate, and went for the second, "Kirro... an odd name? Do you have relation to her perhaps?" He asked already digging into the second plate quicker then the first. The food was ten times better then before where he remembered it, it made him want more and more. The rich tastes were divine! He sipped the second glass this time listening with open ears.

Evelyn pulled a face as she scratched the back of her neck awkwardly. "Kiiro's story is a long one. And you're going to automatically hate her for what she is. She's everyone's friend, advisor, carer. And she's the sweetest girl I've ever come across. All she ever wants to do is help people, and even being blind she's able to do all the things she can. As a consequence of being blind she's very sensitive to people's emotions and thoughts." She sighed. "However.. the reason you're going to hate her is because she's Lucifer's daughter." She took another quick swig of the wine. "Her real name is Danielle. The name that he gave her. But she didn't want that for herself, she is the complete opposite from him. So she changed her name and put herself under a false identity so that no one would hate her. When we found out we could never hate her anyway."

He pulsed and nodded, "I see. So a descendent from the one that brought the demons to the earth in the first place. Yesh, for what she is I would despise of her altumaticly. However I noticed you note on how well she is before the actual point. Which means, yes you have a connection to her." He leaned a little, "but this isn't where I grew up. I've already allied with a demon, why not extend my horizens and learn through a different set of eyes." He sat back and pushed the plate aside, "I will no longer judge from what something is, but rather who they are to be. Today on two occasions I have learned that thus already." He nodded, "Shadow was demon. I'm sure you remember him as well? yuji favored, but also feared him. I believe now he is an object since yuji could not destroy him. Shadow was my mortal enemy, the demon that killed my sister..." He replied having enough to eat and drink now. "I do hope in end of what you teach me, things do not turn course." He nodded warning her. "However I do have a question... In my day and age people were just starting to get used to clothing being a normal habit. Hiding their different bodys parts and such, but bushes were still where they releaved themselves. I assume there is a... different method now yes?"

Evelyn sighed and brought her hand to her face yet again. "Lets talk about that when we're not in such a public place, okay?" She got the bill off the waitress and looked to it before picking up the wine bottle that was almost empty. "Jeez we polished this well." She nodded. "In that case I want you to meet Kiiro then. Yuji even trusted her enough to raise his newest son for him. Sweet boy." She looked down. "And yes at one point I thought that Kiiro was my sister. That's the identity she took on when she first entered this family. But even now she's still very important to me." She poured the rest of the wine into Ruji's glass. "Be a good boy and finish that off."

Ruji nodded and razed the glass, "vary well thank you~" He really liked that juice, had some great taste to it. Or maybe... that was him. But when she recived the bill he lent over, "what is that? And what is it that you are placing into it?" He looked to her, "is this when you make the trade?" It seemed he still didn't understand the situation, but he was improving. he finshed the glass and pointed to the remaing food, "what of the food I had not eaten, it will got to the others correct? To the ones that do not have such a thing?"
