Gregory shrugs. His wife's statement is true, as usual. He had learned long ago that Annalicia knew what she was talking about and that it was best not to argue with her.

She stands up and says, as she starts towards the kitchen, "Anyways, I have to go wash the dishes. If you want to continue this conversation, Darian and Greg, come on into the kitchen though I'll make you dry the dishes and put them away."

Annalicia, now in the kitchen, says, "Greg, if you don't help put the dishes away, as few as there are, you may find yourself sleeping on the couch. In other words, get in here."

Lady Moonleaf looks up from the sink, her hands still washing the dishes.
"I knew there was at least that way to get your attention, Greg," she smiles teasingly, "It's always worked before now, so I thought that it would work now as well."

After seeing Kitara to bed, Jay sits down by her and softly says, in bluejay, "My love, I wish to learn elvish once again, for your sake, for our child's sake, and for your family's sake...."
He leans over and kisses her softly on the cheek before standing up. Closing the door gently behind him, he starts to head over to the main Moonleaf house. He strides casually as he wonders if Darian could help him relearn elvish.

She sighs, finishing the dishes up, "You know I wouldn't do that. If I had, I would have done that near the time we lost our second child... Felicity was what her name would have been... But, we still have Darian, which is a good thing. I am grateful for him, my son."
She hands the last dish to her husband before saying, "And I am grateful that you love me and are still around."

"How could I not." Gregory replies, putting the last dish away. "Sure you enjoy scaring me but I suppose it has gotten easier."
Darian stretches and turns his head toward Kitara's house to work out a cramp in his neck. He is surprised to see Jay walking towards the Moonleaf house. Shouldn't he be with Kitara?

She shrugs before stretching her arms above her head.
"I think I'm going to do some knitting for a bit before going to bed," she says before she smiles, "I started working on a blanket but I didn't know that it would really come in handy, for an extension to our family."

The bluejay-elf comes up to Darian and stops, wishing he could say something. I could always write it out, right? However, how do I say something if I can't speak the language he knows? That's why I'm here in the first place, anyways. He nods to Darian, politely and in a calm manner to convey that Kitara is fine.

"Perahps a little." Gregory replies. "Mostly I'm just excited about everything we learned today."
"Teach you...." Darian says patiently. He truely did want to help Jay with what ever it was he needed help with.

"A bit overwhelming yet very exciting, don't you think?" Annalicia says as she walks into the living room. She takes a seat on one of the couches before saying, "Greg, why don't you take a seat out here and rest for a bit? Or, if anything, go on down to the river and fish for a while before bed."

Jay sighs, twittering something to himself in bluejay, before he motions for something to write on. Though he had lost his ability to talk in Elvish or English, he had not lost his ability to write.
