"I think that," Sam replied, without missing a beat, backing up a few steps, "We don't know you well enough to judge you. Now put the dagger down before you hurt someone else. We're all on the same side here."

It didn’t matter how careful he was. Wilson tumbled down anyways, nearly crashing into Milo and Solomon as the room shrunk and caved in. His face paled considerably when the blood in the room began to rise, filling his nose with a distinct, nauseating smell. His body might’ve tensed when the meat grinder continued to churn and all three were slowly sinking into the red goo of blood, flesh, and chopped body parts. Disgusting. Wilson’s lips were sealed tight as he at least had the comfort of being able to slide his goggles over his eyes before disappearing completely into the mixture. Game Over.
And then he was falling. Unfortunately, he didn’t fall on anything comfortable. Just the floor. He might’ve flinched when other body parts and blood rained down on top of him, but to anyone else it wasn’t a very distinct jerk of movement. “…” The hunter couldn’t find it in himself to stand up just yet, not when he was covered in blood and aching from a sudden fall.
Murmurs and closed doors stirred him to life. Wilson grimaced. With each movement, each attempt to stand up, he could feel something wet running down his body and his clothes clinging to his skin and sickening squelches ringing throughout the air. “…” No words as he watched a couple of other hunters walk into cells. Oh. I see. Carefully, he pulled down his goggles so they hung around his neck and awkwardly hobbled into the bottom right one as he muttered, "Disgusting."

This was not the situation he wanted to be in, which was the understatement of the year, of the century. Ian stood in silence, idly twisting the bracelets on his wrist, and tried not to think about the inevitable that was slowly creeping towards him. Ro had managed to get himself stuck in a room that appeared neither friendly, nor helpful, and Ian ground his teeth together.
Still silent, he move to investigate the top left cell.

Was she telling the truth? Was she just lying for effect?
"Shut the hell up," she roared at Melvin. "This braided girl threw the first punch, everybody saw that. But that doesn't mean she should die either."
She squinted hard at Abbi. The girl was sputtering and crying and being a real big mess. Either she was a great actor, or she genuinely didn't know the dagger would do that.
Chel chose to believe in Abbi; the same belief she'd give anyone.
The sun hunter stood in front of Abbi, a poor excuse for defense, but with her sword raised she was there to defend. "Nobody is killing anybody else. Even if it wasn't an accident, killing each other off isn't going to help." And really, Chel did believe that too. Every horror movie she saw said so. "Let's just calm down, okay? I'll ... I don't know, I'll stand watch over Abbi. If she tries to attack again, she'll have to go through me." She looked at Stormy and Dory desperately for some help. "Please. I just want to go home." By the way her body sagged, she meant it.

Roland stood in the room, it was thankfully quiet, blissfully so even. He looked back and saw nothing out of place, just the levers that where before him the other way. Tapping his foot for a moment he moved towards the table tilting his head at the controls.
"Only two..." He reached for the Red and Violet switches pulling them down and waited to see what would happen.

[ ALPHA GROUP ] "Lil lady, if we are on the same side then there's no need for me to put down a legitimate weapon which could help us. I came here from Wonder Park, you'll forgive me for being loathe to give it up." he might have been Death but he was also not particularly stupid, he wasn't going to go out of his way to stab anyone, but you never knew when you just might need to.
At first Peyton didn't realize Tyam had left her. The water sloshing arounf her legs was loud enough that she failed to notice the lack of noise from a second person. She plowed onward, pale eyes narrowed, continuing to take turns and seemingly random intervals and directions. There was no method to this madness, only a very real game of trial and error, where error more then likely meant death.
It made the Sun shudder, a harsher shaking in already endless shivering.
There were more crumbling bits of ceiling as well, but The girl's small frame was already quite numb from the water, and she didn't feel it when a large chunk fell and clipped her shoulder.
She did, however, finally realize she was alone, and for just a moment she stood frozen in the water, suddenly wide eyes searching the gloom behind her for any sign of Taym, or anyone else. There was nothing, no movement, no sounds. "Bastards.." He'd ditched her. Disappeared without so much as a peep. It made her bristle.
- Your goal is to find the EXIT of the maze. You can take a total of four "moves" at a time by rolling 4 6-sided dice. If odd you moved left, if even you moved right. You can continue rolling 4-6 sided dice for as long as you need until you find the exit.
- If you move 10 odds and 10 evens cumulatively, you find the exit! - If at any point you roll 6 1's cumulatively in all your rolls you end up back at the entrance again! You have to regather your rolls/ they reset. - If at any point you roll 6 6's cumulatively before your rolls reset you have found yourself a nifty set of Runic Daggers. These do 2d6-4 damage for 5 turns. - For each 3 you roll, take -1 damage from the falling and crumbling ceiling
There was a moment of hesitation as the girl considered following the source, but fear rolled up, a desire to get out of this thing alive. What if who ever had the gun was picking them off one by one. What if investigating lead to a hole in her chest.
What if Taym was hurt? Or Lucky?
They'd made their choice not to follow her, hadn't they? It wasn't fair, leaving her on her own, going off and endangering themselves, as well as her. She pressed her lips together, huddling in the thigh high water, then made up her mind and continued walking.

More falling debris, Peyton winced as something bouncing off her head, hissing under her breath before veering to the right a few more times and then abruptly turning left.

Peyton wasn't sure how long she'd been searching for, it was dim, and aside from the singe gunshot and the sloshing of water around her thighs it was utterly quite. Chunks of ceiling fell here and there, rocks hitting the water in loud, startling splashed. She did her best to avoid them, focusing on moving forward, on finding a way out. It was important, it was the only thing that she could afford to worry about in that moment, because to think of anyone else would mean breaking down, turning back and searching for friends that might have already been dead.
She kept moving forward, kept her mind busy by counting her steps, the right turns and the left. Not because she thought she could figure the maze out through logic, but for something to do.
Eventually it seemed as if the quality of light was changing. Less dim, less damp. The crackling electric hiss was a far away memory. Another corner, then another, and finally she found herself face to face with what looked like an exit.

A man had given her the weapon. They used to be hunters. She wasn't supposed to die.
"I don't blame you," she told her, quietly and simply. And then Stormy let her hands fall back to her sides as Abbi backed away, a somber but still sympathetic look given the Moon's way. There wasn't much time left, if any at all; there was still the ticking noise to worry about.
Chel stepped up and defended, and thank God she wasn't alone in believing people didn't need to be killed. The blond's shouts about needing to eliminate Abbi went ignored, static noise that no longer had a place in her head. Giving Chel a grateful look, Stormy began to move.
She passed by Dorian and whispered, "Watch them."
Whether or not it was the right decision to make, there she was; the shadows pointed north, and so the north cabinet she went. Quickly she checked it over as best she could for surprises before trying to unlock it with her key.

Blood toilet flushing done, Solomon recognized one of these guys on the other side as someone Peyton didn't like. There was strength in numbers, though, which was why he totally split off to go investigate a cell by himself. #Not a horror movie.
Unless Jay totally got this wrong, he went to the bottom left cell which was the remaining empty one.

DELTA MAZE (w/Kostya)
Bang --
It felt like the noise echoed forever. Time reduced itself to a series of moments, flashes.
He was standing there, gun in hand, frozen with the realization of what had just happened-
He'd missed.
It was a mistake. It was a mistake. But he couldn't just stand here. He had to do something. He had to move. Run. Get away. But-
Could he just walk away now? After he'd already made his intentions clear? He hadn't even had the resolve to get rid of Shiloh. Someone else did the dirty work for him there, if inadvertently. Because he was too much of a coward to go through with it. He had a million options, reducing themselves branch by branch into a few feasible paths, the majority of which involved running away. But not fast enough. Kostya was screaming, and the noise was driving him crazy.
"Sh-shut UP-" he hissed between gritted teeth.
His heartbeat was pounding in his ears. With his free hand he peeled the other hunter off the wall, adrenaline giving him strength. The Russian landed in the water with a heavy splash and a blossom of red. Lucky followed, sloshing into the knee-high water, holding Kostya down beneath it until he stopped screaming, and stopped moving.
"Just - just s-stop-"

Lawr. Dammit. This was the dude Caelius assigned him to be his shadow. b*****d. More brats to babysit, even if he did seem remarkably older. Otto wanted to suggest wrapping the runic bandages around someone's arm before grabbing the key, using it's runic power to protect the flesh..
But that was when Ami screamed.
Otto's eyes remained fixed on the spot where she flailed, as Charlotte tried in vain to save her. Good God... Ami was... Another dear friend. Gone in an instant. It was as if anyone he dared called friend would soon meet a bloody end. Everyone. Anyone he loved or loved him would leave or die.
His cold gaze managed to tear away from the pool, looking at Sam and then to Lawr.
His cold sadness turned to seething hatred.
Otto aimed his weapon at Lawr. They didn't need traitors in this group. Lawr had picked off the smallest of them after barely having gotten there. Truth be told it was all farfetched, but his emotions barred any reason.
"Gale. Wrap your arm in those bandages and fetch the key. The runes should protect you. Maybe." His icy gaze was fixed on Lawr. "Sam, can I kill him?"

Sam sighed, running a hand through her hair. "Well, no use in giving them what they want. Just- just as long as he doesn't well you never know. All I know is that Runics require a while to be charged." She trailed off. "So what are our options then. Wait for crazy guy to kill us, find another exit, get a key?"
Charlotte stood up, and opened her mouth.
"-No you sit right here, I'm sure Otto and Gale can hand it. I'll watch over our happy murderer, make sure he doesn't do anything. I'm a big girl, I can handle myself. I'll shout if I need help." She waved her hand. "Check all the pools, keys, runics, anything that you can find. I have a feeling that locked door over there is just for show." She waved at the two short blondes. "Run along now."
