I've been looking up videos on YouTube for drafting and sewing Lolita outfits. So far, I've made a petti, top, and skirt, but I plan to add some shirring to the top so it looks better. yum_puddi

Kay9214 The Handsome Mr-X Kay9214 The Handsome Mr-X Kay9214 The Handsome Mr-X Eh, it's how I am. I ask multiple people, so I can get multiple answers. But they didn't tell me how it worked play by play like you. So I appreciate the help. No problem. 3nodding I haven't played many, so if something else happens, sorry. o.o I've got terrible luck, I don't think in the few RIGs I've played, I've ever gotten anything worth more than selling the RIG would get me. But usually I'm too curious as to what I'll get to sell. gonk The odds are against one who challenges this one. Only very few are above 800k in Starlight. Everything else can be bought for at least under 80k. :T Yep. And I'd get all items worth like... 12k. emotion_facepalm Seriously, I won a Carnival ticket in a game, it was selling for... whatever it was. Some six-digit number or another, and my curiosity won out, and I've got Black Ice Weapons that I'm still trying to sell, for 17k, and the price is going down each day. emotion_facepalm I've got a Flynn's Booty Bundle I'm afraid to use too... Technically, I could have as much as 1,200,000,000 gold. But I'd be lucky to break a million. gonk 600k min, though. My my. :0 That's the bundle's minium? I wanna buy one! *doesn't know the value of marketing yet* 3nodding Flynn's Booty Bundle comes with 12, each chest holds between 50k and 100,000,000. Most people get 50-100k. For the 999 GC bundle, the least you can get is 600k. The bundle is on the market for around 3 million though. They only sold the Flynn's Booty for a few days and it already ended though. sweatdrop There were several announcements. Edit: That 999 GC could easily be turned into 1-1.5 million safely by other means, though, more than your average Flynn's Bundle. So, always a gamble. I think that's what caused the MP to inflate as well.

I'm short and dumpy, so I have the opposite problem! I'm about 5'5" and weigh *mumblemumble* pounds, so NO brand stuff fits me. So I find YouTube tutorials that tell you how to draft patterns to your own measurements, and I love it! heart

Personnally I like to learn things myself through trial and error in sewing -.-

For me, trial and error would be so much wasted fabric! Trial and error in knitting is a little different because you can reuse the yarn to make something else, but I'd be so scared to butcher my pretty fabric! I'm not a good seamstress, so I have to have some kind of instructions to follow. sweatdrop

I didn't mean trial and error on the actual product...I meant using scraps or cheap pieces of fabric to try out new techniques or see how it'll look.
Well, I've always been unorthodox as I even draw things completely without any tutoring and without setting any dimensions beforehand:

I think half the graphics in the guild so far are just silly little things I threw together myself, like this one:
