V'ail - ring toss 2 1/2 mark points: 4
The crimson rider sighed and passed over one more quarter mark of his hard won, okay. Really he was getting paid to do everyday things. He took the rings, ran his fingers over them and lazily tossed them at the pegs. "So, gifts for Hollin now?"

K'yne - Wandering
C'ross won the snarky arms race with the faint almost-smile from the shorter man. He waved his hand in defeat, the other still keeping mini-Psaumith close to his side. Holding the stuffed toy meant he had a way to hide the extra bit of oil as well - always good. Eventually, he'd have to sneak into C'ross' room and nestle it on his pillow like a good friend. Until then, he had a stuffed dragon.
"I trust you. Don't go flaunting your moment ruining knots at us," K'yne sniffed, dark eyes darting towards the direction of the leathercraft stall once C'ross brought it up. I'saak blushed and jumped at the chance to not talk about the casual touch from bluerider to greenrider, the touch K'yne of course didn't notice, not even a little. The game had to have been slightly rigged, it must have been, but K'yne kept it to himself. Let I'saak go all bashful. They'd mentioned leather!
"I wouldn't mind taking a look. He could have something useful." That, and wandering alone was boring. Even if he just watched I'saak blush an C'ross stare, the day would be a success.

Argo was still smiling but he gave a small shake of his head too. "I'm sorry but two marks is the price. If you care for it a piece like this will last you a lifetime, it can always be adjusted to fit you and won't wear out."
When Adi arrived Argo offered a polite smile and a small incline of his head but didn't interrupt her meeting with her friend.
Ingar shook his head, returning the rueful smile. "I'm sorry sir but really, I've put my prices as low as I can afford on those beauties. A flower's lovely sir but they wilt and die within a week. Gold endures sir, this little queen will shine as bright in a hundred turns as she shines today if she's well cared for."
Kyrie Narisa - NPC Vintner Stall
"It's not as dry as a lot of sparkling wines," Kay explained. "We went for something light fresh and just a little sweet. For drinking on its own or with a light selection of snacks such as we're offering here: lovely fat olives, mild white cheese, some lovely little canapés?"
Kallnar meanwhile popped the cork of the bottle and carefully poured the fizzing liquid into a crystal flute, which he then set before Narisa along with an elegant dish of the speciality snacks Kay had mentioned. "Anything for you sir?" he asked politely of D'lin. Since moving to Trine they'd learned to accept the idea of the strange coloured dragons even in high places, but their respect would always lie most naturally with golds or a bronze in wingleader knots.

Iafri - Argo's Stall5 3 marksWhen the merchant stayed firm, Iafri looked away again, chewing at her lip and shuffling her marks in her hand. Girofleth wanted her to get something, and she wanted to get herself something, but they were her marks, and parting with them was proving more difficult than she'd thought it would be, now that it came down to it. Finally, after warring with herself and receiving further encouragement from her partner, she very slowly slid the required two marks Argo's way. "C-can I have a...a black one, please?" She glanced up at him briefly, then down again, and snatched her hand away before she could change her mind and take the marks back. It was awfully tempting. Set'al - Ingar's Stall5 marks no marks!"Always worth a try." Set'al looked vaguely apologetic, but quickly brightened up and extended his hand to the crafter, offering up all five of his marks, as asked. "I'll take her. She'll have a good home, I promise."

Cetalese - VintnersCetalese smiled as D'lin approved of the wine; yes, she would definitely buy a bottle of one of their wines before leaving, in addition to whatever D'lin would purchase. Narisa's greeting in reply to hers was an open invitation to socialize, and as Cetalese accepted her cup back, she leaned against the counter to better converse with Narisa. "I'm doing well, also, thank you." While listening to the vintner speaking to D'lin with one ear, Cetalese continued, "I didn't realize you were such a connoisseur of wine, Narisa. Where did you gain such a sensitive palate?"

Narisa - Vintners {Current Marks: 10/10}
The Goldrider nodded, eying the contents of the wine as Kay explained. "I am impressed! The idea behind it very much intrigues me. And it's nice to have such a wine every now and then. Instead of something so... formal." Not that those wines weren't good! Just, she kind of missed having something she could drink on a leisurely day. "Lovely fat olives, you say?" Narisa's lips quirked up as Kallnar uncorked a bottle. She watched as he poured the liquid and smiled her thanks.
"Oh goodness," she giggled a little, accepting the flute and attempting to pick an accompanying floater. "You were not kidding when you said these olives were fat!" Selecting one of said olives and a little of the white cheese, Narisa delicately tipped the flute to her lips, taking a small experimental sip. The liquid bubbled a little as it went down her throat, but the taste was refreshing and just sweet enough. Combined with the olive, it was perfect!
"The taste is wonderful! And the lightness of it is very refreshing." She replied, inclining her head in compliment. "I very much like it."
Her attention was, once again, pulled away to some of the few people she truly did consider friend. "I'm glad to hear this." She said sweetly to D'lin, glad to see the bronzerider in once piece and still the strong wingleader she counted on. "And they are. It's... nice to see everyone having a moment to enjoy themselves." She added in a murmur. Then mentally shook herself, turning to better see Ceta. And couldn't help the faint flush to her cheeks. "I... well. Before I came to Trine, I was an apprentice vintner, working under my father." Narisa confided. "And I tended to experiment here and there when I had the chance, trying to find new tastes that appealed to our patrons." Her smile brightened as memories of working in the brewery flickered across her mind. "Ah, there are some days I do miss the smell of all the distilled wine or the freshly squeezed grapes."
She glanced towards the sibling vintners with a grin. "I think I'll take a bottle of the sparkling wine, if the two of you don't mind."

C’ross – Leatherworker's Stall – 1 & 7/16 Marks
Well, that was settled, then. Rather than risk the possibility of further unfortunate innuendo, C'ross opted to go for the much more straightforward route of changing the subject. "I don't know much about weyrlinghood - do they usually provide flight gear, or do we buy our own? I figure either way owning a jacket ahead of time won't hurt..."
Especially a high-quality one like these. C'ross picked up the black one with the natural wool on the inside, admiring the contrast between dark and light and the clearly excellent craftmanship. He was no leatherworker himself, of course, but he could recognize a jacket that was built to withstand some heavy duty work. Tugging it on over his shirt, it was... actually still pretty roomy in the shoulders, which was surprising. This one was built big, and C'ross liked that.
He took it off again, holding it in his hands, and gave it some thought. Glancing at the prices and the trousers, C'ross did some calculations in his head and reluctantly came to the conclusion that he wouldn't be able to purchase a full set - just the jacket, even if he successfully haggled beforehand. And considering that C'ross wasn't the most graceful of speakers, he'd probably just offend the merchant by somehow implying the goods weren't worth the price. So no haggling for him. "I'll take the jacket," he told Argo, handing over the mark that V'lay gave him and a handful of fraction-coins.

I'saak - Argo's Stall 2 1/16 marks
I'saak followed in C'ross's wake quietly, waiting for some of the horrific embarrassment to let up before he said anything. And C'ross was moving in the direction of the leatherworker's stall with a great deal of purpose. Right up to beginning to try on the jackets.
...I'saak looked the jackets over as C'ross quickly and decisively chose something for himself. He wasn't quite as sure as his friend if this was how he wanted to spend the last of his marks or not, and he stroked the shearling absently, rolling it between his fingers. "You look good in that," he said quietly to C'ross, giving the blueweyrling the glimmer of a smile. "It suits you." He plucked thoughtfully at one of the dark brown jackets before looking at the tan one, a little unsure of himself. "Dark colors on me..." he trailed off quietly, suddenly aware that the musing about what colors looked best on him would probably be one of those things that C'ross thought wasn't appropriate. Still, he plucked at the tan one longingly, before moving in the direction of the aprons.
His was so old, a hand-me-down from a smith who'd had it for untold turns...and he wouldn't be getting back into the forge for a while, still, but at the same time...he ran his fingers over the ties on a particularly striking reddish-brown piece. "A mark for the apron...two marks for the jacket." He didn't have enough for both. A quiet sigh. "I guess I need the jacket more than the apron..." And he had no doubt he had used up all his luck haggling with Ingar.
"I don't know," he said, returning to the jackets and tentatively trying on the tan one. It felt comfortable, if a bit large, and he turned this way and that, trying to get an idea of the fit on him. "It's a jacket or an apron. I'll need both eventually..."
"What do you think?" It was extended to both C'ross and K'yne.

D'linVintners stall10 marks - 2 1/2 for the bottle and glass = 7.50 D'lin listened with half an ear to Narisa and Ceta talking over wine, to be honest the bronzerider had never known much of wine before coming to Trine..and hadn't learned much more since...other then getting the opportunity to try it more often and since he had no other plans for his marks today he figured he might as well splurge while he had the chance. Ceta might fuss at him for being frivolous later, she was by far the more logical and thrifty of the two of them...but you know what? They had spent time locked up, in cells..waiting to die..and now that they were free by dragons shells they deserved some fine wine. He wasn't even going to bother trying to haggle for the price "I'll have a glass of your sparkling wine....and a bottle of the same to go." He told the Vintner's with a smile before passing over the marks and giving Ceta a sideways glance as thought to judge his chances of a lecture on spending later on, Pausing only briefly to allow Narisa to make her purchase first. 'If Narisa is to be naming a wine..clearly the only worthy name is one after Cepheith.' Plexith piped up making D'lin aware that the dragon had been paying attention to the events going on even. D'lin wasn't surprised..Plexith had been quite a bit more watchful since they had been separated during the last mission. D'lin was surprised the dragon hadn't insisted on attempting to wander into the crowds with him here. 'Well..pass it on and I'm not nearly silly enough to try something like that.' The bronze huffed in his mind. 'Yes yes..I'll tell her.' D'lin assured the dragon with a slight rolling of his eyes. "Plexith wants you to know that he believes any wine you name should be named after Cepheith." D'lin told Narisa . "He was quite insistent that I pass that along." he went on with a slight shrug and a smile..dragons..what could you do really?

Dizzian - PC Weavers StallMarks: 5 13/16 (Rank + Pearls) "The multi-colored ones!" Dizzian wasn't the greatest mathematician, but money she could generally handle. After a moment's thought while the stall owner was busy with other customers, Dizzian managed to produce three marks stamped with 1/16. "I think this should cover them?" Hopefully it'd be fine, she was also eyeing the blue pants on display on the other side of the stall... Cai - Ring TossMarks: 3 1/4 Points: 12 Wen really needed to stop poking holes in her arguments. It was beyond annoying. She tallied up the points of his last roll and kept the score to herself. It would only get worse if he realized he'd won their little challenge. "well if she made them then she'd know how to take care of them so they don't spoil. As I do." Cai put her hands on her hips and ran an eye over the multitudes of firelizard plushes. "Is that what 'Rynsemth' wants to get 'Miath'?" Really... Wen could get her a better gift than a plush toy... it really wasn't her style. Not that she even wanted to be accepting a gift from him in the first place! "It..." Cai was uncomfortable suddenly and quickly pointed to a dark red one. "That one's the darkest... none look very close." Not to her Miath's intricate markings. Cai jumped, arms tensing and hands raised in a defensive manner as Jemi snuck up on her. "Scorch it! What are you guards or tunnelsnakes?! Is it a requirement to enjoy scaring the pants off of people to be a guard?!" She clutched at her chest and pursed her lips at Jemi. "A 'Hello' works very well I'll have you know." Zarike(Marks: 1 & 7/8th Points: 0)The set of cups had come in a cheap linen bag which Zarike then used to carry the belt pouch (he wasn't wearing a belt) and the harness (he didn't want to put it on Dorado if he still planned on giving it to Orlina. That is if he could find her! His problem appeared to be solved as a flash of gold soared above him and he heard Orlina's voice raised above the crowd. " ORLINA! Over Here! Orlina!" He raised his arm and waived, but it was still impossible to see here. Zarike shoved through in the direction he'd heard her voice.

Wen + Jemi - Ring toss Spending points
"That one it is," Wen replied. "The dark crimson fire lizard plush and the second black fire lizard plush to the left." He had eight points left... what to get. Ooh. He looked back and smiled. "Good evening Jemi."
Jemi grinned widely. "I have you know I come from it naturally," she replied to Cai and looked over the prizes. "Do you want to use my eight points and get Isha one of those nice looking gray flits? That way I can claim it as a present too?"
Wen hummed and nodded. "The very light silver flit and a the yellow green wooden dragon toy." His sister would be nearly two turns old soon, old enough to actually appreciate the gifts.
"Isha our little sister." Jemi said and smiled at Cai. "So, what are you going to get with your points? The bracelets are nice but I think the combs would look good on you."
Wen has - 1 - black flit, 1 crimson flit, 1 silver flit, 1 nice wooden green toy, and 20 candles

Cai - Ring Toss Marks: 3 1/4 Tch. If that didn't give it away then Cai was a natural blond. She just rolled her eyes at the pair and shuffled slightly away. She'd not be mistaken for anyone's lovebird. "Your little sister? I didn't think you two were related?" They looked nothing alike... She had thought Sword-sister was a generic term... not that Jemi was actually Wen's sister. Neither the bracelets or combs particularly interested Cai. "Really Jemi. I wonder about you." Cai remarked dryly. The brute of a woman was always trying to get Cai to 'pretty up' against her will. Still, she'd blown almost a whole mark at this stupid game, she might as well get something out of it. The firelizard harnesses tempted her for a moment... but those journals were right up Cai's alley. To the gamemaster she pointed at a white one with a finely embossed vine pattern bordering it's edges. "The white one." She could use it to organize many of the notes she'd scattered throughout her weyr, compiling all the information into one tome. DizzianMarks: 5 13/16 "These please. Thank you!" Dizzian handed over the handful of ribbons, quite excited about her purchase as small as it was. She had plenty of marks left, even after she got over to check out the pants. If she was smart, she'd save them. If she was herself (and who else could she be?) she'd probably be leaving the gather with empty pockets. Z'fer - NPC Smith Stall Marks: 10He'd spent some time wandering the gather alone, mingling a little with various riders he knew and recognized, but not really lingering long with anyone. He'd stopped by the high table for a quick refreshment before diving back into the thick of the crowds, his height being put to use. The smith stall was always an interesting stop and at least this time, Hekate's dragon wasn't around to stir up trouble. He could already tell from first glance that he'd probably get it later once she discovered the gold dragon brooch (or Faranth forbid she wanted the flashy dagger). He had another item in mind though. "Mastersmith." He'd noted the man's rank as he approached. "What is your price for the daggers?" He lifted a turquoise eyed dagger carefully, tugging it out of the sheath an inch to check the blade. TawnyAngel (I think this might have been missed)

Jemi + Wen - Ring toss
"We aren't. Our parents have this complicated triangle going on and ended up with a baby," Jemi replied easily. "Mom is putting her foot down that this is the last kid she's going to have, ever." She grinned, happily taking the plush and squeeze it. "Cute little thing."
"Whattt? It not like I can use them. Do you think they make a bracelet big enough not to look ridiculous on my wrists?" Jemi huffed. "Let alone put combs in my hair. Shaved it a while ago." Her hair was dark and short and how she liked it.
"And yet you keep pressing them on Cai," Wen said dryly collecting the rest of the prizes and shoved the wooden toy in Jemi's hands as well. "Isha, is named after my mother."
