After 10 minutes without any customers, Dominic managed to fall asleep at his post. He's a light sleeper though, so no biggie.

Dominic snorted and suddenly found himself in the waking world, and just in time too! Some (miniature) hooligans were trying to sneak away with two cupcakes, but the teen managed to grab a hold of them and ask them to apologize. After they each begrudgingly delivered a less than heartfelt apology, Dominic took the money out of his own pocket and sent them away with their cupcakes.

Sales seemed to slow down again, but Dominic has decided to stay vigilant. He brought his handy-dandy Rubik's cube for just such an occasion!

A kid happens to pass by, intrigued by his cube. On a dare, Dominic solves the cube in under 2 minutes! In exchange for his effort, the kid agrees to buy a cupcake.

Eventually Dominic put his cube away, much preferring to people watch while waiting to sell this baked goods. Fortunately, it didn't take long for a little old lady to make a purchase, so she and Dominic had a good chat, and she regaled him with stories about her life as the wife of a political activist. It took a good 15 minutes for him to make the sale, but he did!
