Shun watched Mitsu for a moment as he regarded her stance. It looked like she was done for now. Though, even so, he just watched her a little longer, waiting to see what she would do before saying anything for sure. He did release her though.

Mitsu wasn't sure if Shun was going to spur her to continue. It wasn't really like him to let her quit but he seemed to be waiting for her to do something. She stared up at him a moment longer, crimson eyes blinking but reflecting nothing that was going on in her mind.
"I guess...I have a lot of catching up to do." She finally said, breaking the silence with her soft voice.

There was a moment of silence as Shun continued to wait, but then Mitsu finally spoke up.
"We all have room to improve," he whispered before shaking out his one leg a bit, "You got me pretty good a few times."
Waiting a bit longer, he placed his hand onto her shoulder.
"Perhaps that's enough for today then. But.. I want you to train with me more. We can both grow more easily when working with one another," he said quietly. Practicing with someone else was always better than just doing forms on his own, after all.

She nodded at that placing her hand over his. It probably wasn't going to be easy, not that it had been before, but there were new obstacles for her to get passed this time around. Things that hadn't weighed on her previously.
"Is your leg okay?" He had said she had managed to get him pretty good and she worried she was going to leave him limping for a little bit.

Shun's expression shifted back to that subtle softness he had for Mitsu whenever he was dealing with her, having left the more combative mindset he was in a moment ago. Gently, he gripped her shoulder. They still had a lot of work to do to get her back up to speed, but he was confident in her.
"Nothing some rest can't take care of," he said softly. With a pause, he looked her over, "Anywhere hurt for you? I'm sorry if I'm rough, but... neither of us will learn if I hold back."

Shaking her head Mitsu rubbed at her arms dropping her combative mindset like a bad habit. "Well...let's get you some rest then." If it let them avoid the roof that would be best. Besides, she had a note she wanted to write out to go along with the mooncake that was supposed to go to his father. She wasn't sure how much longer they were going to stay but she wanted to drop it off to him before they left.

Nodding to that, Shun took her hand and went on to make his way out of the dojo, bowing before leaving. He wasn't quite limping, but his stride was a little more stiff than usual. It probably wasn't too noticeable to most.
"We can also finally eat that treat of yours. Seems like a good time to do so."
Mitsu did do fairly well, although their spar had been shorter than he would have liked. Little steps. Little steps.

As they made their way from the dojo Mitsu knelt long enough to gather her shoes in her free hand before following Shun back to the apartment in the other area of the building. She could tell his stride wasn't normal but Shun often did well to hide his pain...so just how bad did it feel? Mitsu would have to make sure to ice his knee when they got back to keep it from swelling.
"Ah, yeah." She nodded in agreement. "It will be hard to take the first bite, it looks so cute." But she would likely manage, it was a treat after all.

"I'm sure you'll manage," Shun said he walked on into the apartment and set his shoes back down. He made his way over to where they had left the treat, and opened up the container.
"Should I cut it in half?"

Once back at the apartment Mitsu left her shoes at the door and followed Shun to the kitchen where she had left her treat. It was still sitting where she had left it on the counter along with the box that contained the two mooncakes they had picked out.
"I..." She looked almost pained for a moment, staring down at the cute frosting covered face that stared up at her with its candy coated eyes. It was like it was staring into her very core. "Y..yes, I suppose." She just had to look away.

Nodding to that, Shun took it out, and placed it on the counter, then fetched a kitchen knife. As casually as he could, he cut it.... though not in half. It was more like 2/3 and 1/3. But this was intentional. He placed the two parts on plates, then gave Mitsu the bigger portion. The middle was like a spongy cake it looked like.
"Here you go."
After setting it down, he cleaned off the knife and put it away.

Mitsu looked away as the cutting happened. She didn't want to see the panda maimed into pieces. When she was prompted to look around her expression was sad at first. Here sat her cute little panda no longer whole but...
"Ooo cake." Her sad face didn't last long as she spotted the spongy inside of her treat and decided to dig in. The panda was now disfigured and would no longer be whole again, might as well put him out of his misery. "Mmm its pretty good."

Curiously, Shun looked over the thing, then went on to give it a try as well. It was a little sweeter than he would have liked but it wasn't bad. He was glad he gave himself a smaller portion though. While it was still good, he wasn't sure if he could eat too much of it.
"Not bad," he nodded as he took another bite of the panda cake thing. He was eating a little slowly, but he wasn't in any particular rush.

Mitsu wasn't as reserved with eating her treat though she took her time to savor every bite. Carob wasn't quite like chocolate from what she could remember though it thankfully came without the stomach upset afterward.
Even with the bigger piece it didn't take Mitsu long to get mostly through her piece of cake before she called it quits. It was the first thing she had really eaten since the one and a half squid meatball things from the pavilion and the couple of pieces of mochi. Her diet was an amazing one.
"I don't think I can eat anymore."

Having the smaller piece, Shun was able to get through his chunk, though he definitely had enough after that was done. Letting out a breath, he brushed off his hands of the crumbs and pushed back his plate. He was surprised that Mitsu hadn't finished her chunk.
"You can save the rest of it for later," he nodded before taking his plate and setting it into the sink so that he could clean it off right away. He figured he may as well do that.
"When were you planning on giving the mooncakes?"
