Daisy was almost in a panic, and almost as soon as she opened the door to go inside, she heard Aaron call after her. The blood was still actively dropping from her arm, and had gotten all over her clothes. Her head whipped around and she froze, letting him move up towards her. Her mind was still spinning at the encounter she had, and how he had let her go. Unharmed. Well, unharmed by him. "Aaron..." Her blue eyes looked down to her arm for a moment, and then back at him, a slight frown on her lips. Her wolf was taking most of the pain, because she could handle it, but eve so daisy was still feeling pain from it.

Aaron wrapped an arm about her waist and lead her into the house. He escorted her into the kitchen. Immediately Leila and then Terra were surrounding Daisy. Leila disappeared briefly to go get the medical kit they had. When she returned with it Terra set to work on cleaning the would and dressing it. Leila went to get a glass of water so that Daisy would have a drink to wash down the pills for the pain.
"I will call for Dr. Moreland..." Leila offered and Terra nodded.
"He will have to set the bones. Let him know." Leila nodded and hurried off. Aaron took Daisy's other hand and gave it a little squeeze.
"Daisy, what happened?" He asked as he held her hand.

Daisy frowned when Aaron moved to her and wrapped his arm around her, leading her inside. Almost immediately Leila and Terra came to her, and began to work on cleaning her arm. She hissed in pain when the alcohol was poured on it, and closed her eyes. When he took her good hand, she brought her eyes up to him, breathing out a shaky sigh. "I was out looking for everyone last night and decided to go through the woods instead of around, and I stepped in a trap." Terra did something else, which caused a small cry to work it's way out of her throat.

"Dr. Moreland is on his way..." Leila said calmly and offered the glass of water to Daisy. She offered her one of the pain killers they had from Hunter's accident.
"This will help with the pain." Aaron let go of Daisy's hand.
"I will go investigate in my human form. I will report the traps. this is a no hunting area."
"Aaron, you can't. Your exhausted. I will send someone else. We should let Hunter and Jasper know." Terra said and Leila shook her head.
"I don't want to call him at work. He will come home early, and you know how he gets about Hunters."
"Leila, he is looking out for us. He should be upset!"
"I know, I know Terra." Aaron stood up.
"I will call him. See what he wants me to do."
"Talk to hunter. This is his Pack." Leila stated and Terra huffed.
"Don't talk to Hunter! He is healing and will push himself. Call Jasper." She stated firmly and Leila was annoyed. It was Hunter's Pack but it seemed Jasper was always the one working. Always doing things for the Pack. She felt like Hunter was slacking, and normally making things complicated for everyone else in the Pack. Leila remained silent though and watched Aaron step out of the room to make the call to Jasper. Leila rose and went to wait for the doctor in the living room.
Aaron returned and took a seat. Once again he took Daisy's hand. He kissed it lightly.
"Hang in there Daisy. Dr. Moreland will be here soon. Terra, Jasper is on his way home. He is going to set up a search party. We are to retrieve and dispose of the traps. He said for now the hunters will be out a ton of money. We really can't report injured animals without proof."

Daisy closed her eyes for a few moments, trying to focus on her breathing. The pain was almost unbearable. It also didn't help that everyone was going back and forth on what they wanted to do, who they wanted to contact. When Leila have her the water and pain pills, she nodded to her. "Thank you." She used her free hand to take them, and while drinking her eyes followed Aaron out of the room, before looking back at Terra, who was trying her best to clean the wound, and stop the bleeding.
When Aaron came back and took her hand again, her attention moved to him, and she gave him a small smile, despite the pain she was feeling. With her wolf growing more and more exhausted, it allowed Daisy to feel more of the pain, and she was trying hard to hold back. Every now and then her eyes would flash between their normal blue, and the bright blue that her wolf had.
Daisy frowned a bit, and glanced down towards her arm, where her wrist looked like it had literally been mangled. With her free hand, she squeezed Aaron's hand lightly, and turned back to him. "Will you stay and hold my hand while the doctor works? Because I can only imagine what kind of pain I will be in.." Yes, she was actually scared. This was the first big injury she had ever gotten, and it sucked.

Aaron quickly took Daisy's good hand again. "Of course I will stay with you." He stated this as if it should have been obvious.
"I am staying with you. I already told Jasper I am not going back to patrol Meadow's territory. I will be here helping you until you get tired of me." He leaned toward Daisy and kissed her forehead gently.
"I'm sorry this happened. We will get to the bottom of this."
Kieran took off to Keagen's Pack once more. Ellie stayed with Hunter's Pack. She was not sure what to do to help so she kept the toddler occupied. Leila and Terra showed Dr. Moreland into a room, and Aaron helped Daisy into that room. Leila disappeared and before Terra could close the door as she left, Leila stepped back in. She handed Daisy a thick strip of leather.
"Bite down. HARD." Leila advised and stepped back pass Terra. Terra hurriedly shut the door. She gathered her toddler and took her outside. Last thing she wanted was for her daughter to overhear Daisy's pain and be afraid of Dr. Moreland from now on.
Dr. Moreland was old, still made house calls and was from a family of Shifters. He himself was not a Shifter. He knew about their existence though. It made some of the accidents and injuries they had easier to address when they didn't have to lie, and try to keep a story straight.
"Dr. Moreland..." Aaron said as way of a greeting.
"Aaron...your due for a physical." The Doctor stated firmly and Aaron couldn't help but chuckle.
"Okay Daisy, looks like that trap did a real number on your arm sweetheart. I won't lie to you, this will hurt a great deal. However it is extremely important you do everything you can to hold still. We want to set this right so we don't have to re-break the bone later on. I want you back to running happily and pain free in a couple of months, so let's do this right on the first try." The doctor opened his black leather bag.
"Any health conditions Daisy? Aaron, you hold her. Leila is right. You should bite down on that. Put it in your mouth dear."

The calmness that Daisy had felt when Aaron kissed her forehead had now diminished. Her heart was racing in her chest, and she could feel the panic bubbling to the top. Especially when he instructed that she be held down, and to bite down on the leather strip. Before she placed the strip in her mouth, she shook her head at his question. "No, No health conditions.." After that she placed the strip into her mouth, and her free hand held on to the edge of the table, following the doctor's movements like her life depended on it.
The initial shock of him setting her bones in place had her screaming into the leather, and her hand had gripped down onto the edge of the table so hard, that it began to splinter a bit. Her eyes began to flash again, and this time a low growl erupted from her throat. Once there was an audible 'SNAP' she shrieked and her whole body shook all over. That was the end of most of the pain. The rest of the time the doctor spent stitching her up, and finally applying a cast over her wrist, one that reached mid-forearm. When it was all said and done, Daisy was panting a bit, and used her free hand to wipe away the tears that had fallen from her eyes.

Aaron stroked Daisy's head comfortingly. He felt awful about having held her down, and the fact that she had to endure this horror. He gave her a little hug before he let her go. He accepted the prescription from the doctor, and the few tablets he left to hold Daisy over until the prescription was filled.
"I will go get the prescription filled. Are there any weird side effects i should look out for?"

Daisy laid her forehead onto the table after it all was over. Even though it wasn't the searing pain she had been feeling just moments before, it still hurt. Now it was more like a dull, throbbing ache. Not pleasant. When the doctor handed her those few pain pills she took them immediately, and drank down the entire bottle of water with it too. Once the doctor handed Aaron the prescription, and he offered to go get it filled, her head shot up from the table, looking between the two.
"No, there shouldn't be any bad side effects. The most that would happen is that it would make her loopy. High. But it does take the pain away."
Daisy nodded as he spoke, and she pushed herself up from the table, just now seeing that she had been gripping the edge so tightly that she had splintered off the wood. She was going to need to remember to tell Terra that she was sorry about that. Maybe she could find a way to fix it? Once the doctor moved to go speak with Terra, Daisy stepped forward towards Aaron. "Don't go through the woods...you'll need to go around. Take the long way." There was a small part of her that didn't want him to leave, but she knew it had to be done, anyways. "I think I'm gonna go lay down. Thanks, for everything." Her good hand stroked his bicep for a moment before she kissed his cheek, and turned around to head to her room, where she plopped down on the bed, letting her casted wrist rest on her chest.

Aaron helped Daisy to her bedroom before he took off. Into town to the Pharmacy. He had no intention of walking into town. He would drive in on one of the roads, then come right back. He wanted to get back to be with Daisy in case she needed him.
Aaron was gone a total of an hour. He had her medication and stopped to get a few of those cast covers. He also got her a pint of Ben and Jerry's Cookie Dough Ice Cream. Comfort food in his opinion. Just in case she needed it.

Daisy was tossing and turning on her bed. She kept getting up and moving around, trying to do something to keep her mind occupied. It was going to be a few weeks before she could turn back into her wolf without pain, so she was going to need to stay in her human form, and figure out a fun way to keep herself occupied. Hanging around in her room was a little too boring, and as soon as she stepped foot out of her room she caught Aaron's scent, and a smile came to her face. He was back from running around for the meds.
Before he could even get out of his van she was outside, walking towards him. The brunette was getting to be a bit stir crazy. "Hey, I was wondering when you would get back." The smile reached her eyes as she stopped near his van, tucking some hair behind her ear. The pain had died down immensely, especially with the help of the pain pills. "Thanks for doing that, you know you didn't have to.." Her good hand went to rub his bicep gently.

Aaron smiled at Daisy. He held out the small paper sack to Daisy. "Your drugs my dear." He leaned against his van.
"Shouldn't you be resting?" His eyes came to rest on her hand on his bicep for a few seconds before they returned to her pretty face.
"We take care of our own here. We are one big furry family here. If it wasn't me it would have been someone." He straightened up and looked toward the older truck that had just pulled up.
"Jasper is here...he will probably want to ask you a few questions." Aaron stared at Daisy and finally decided to hell with it. He would make his move.
He leaned in and kissed her lips gingerly. Their lips touched for just seconds before he stood up straight again and moved back. He was awaiting Miss Daisy's reaction. What happened next was Daisy's decision.
They had been doing this for long enough. Time to just lay his cards on the table. She knew he was interested in her. She was interested in him, at least he thought so. They should openly discuss the situation right?

Daisy glanced down at the paper sack and took it from him, opening it to see the ice cream that he had bought as well. "That looks delicious! Maybe I should get hurt more often.." She was obviously kidding, but when her eyes returned to his face she wiggled her eyebrows, and glanced back towards the older truck that pulled up. When he mentioned that Jasper would want to ask her questions, she furrowed her eyebrows. Was he going to be upset with her?
When she turned back to Aaron she was met with a kiss, and at first her eyes grew wide, but due to the happiness her wolf was feeling, she allowed herself to return the kiss, just in time for him to pull away from her. After a few seconds a small blush crept across her cheeks, and she leapt forward, letting her arms wrap around her neck as she hung to him like a monkey. "I am so glad you made the first move because I am way too shy to have done anything." She murmured against his ear, tightening her hug a bit.
Daisy was extremely happy that Aaron had kissed her, because in truth, she had been feeling things for him that she had not felt for anyone before, and it was not because her wolf felt a fondness towards him. In the weeks that they had met, they had the best conversations, and he was a bit free spirited like herself, which was something she enjoyed. They regularly went on walks together, and sometimes would just lay around in the wildflower field and watch the clouds. Needless to say, Daisy was overjoyed.

Aaron smiled and returned Daisy's hug. "I was starting to think maybe you didn't like me like that..." He kissed her forehead lightly. He took her good hand and lead her up toward the house.
"You talk to Jasper. I will put the ice cream away. You can take a nap and maybe we could go into town. Catch a movie. Do something so totally human it is boring." He smiled at the pretty little brunette.
Aaron was happy and relieved that Daisy did in fact like him like he liked her. He had really begun to thing he was imaging the whole thing. That maybe she was just too nice to tell him she was not interested. This made things a bit easier for him now. He had been driving himself crazy for weeks with this situation.

Daisy felt a smile form on her lips, and she nodded her head. "I did like you like that...I mean, I do. But I was thinking that maybe you were just being nice to me." When he kissed her forehead she felt her heart skip a bit, and held his gently as they walked to the house. At the mention of speaking with Jasper, she pursed her lips, keeping her voice low. "He is kind of intimidating, to be honest. But a nap sounds nice, and a movie too. I also know of a place where we can get these pictures drawn of us that make us look like cartoon characters." Daisy didn't mind doing human things, because where she came from she had to stay in her human form most of the time. She and her family lived in a big city, and they only had the chance to shift when they went camping or something.
After kissing Aaron on the cheek, Daisy followed the direction Jasper had went, and knocked on the door of his bedroom gently. "Jasper? I was told you would want to talk to me, er- that I should come talk to you." She leaned against the doorframe, tucking some hair behind her ear. Her wrist was beginning to ache, and it caused her to grimace slightly. When the pain was felt, it was excruciating.
