Ying had been occupied with Scarlett, but she saw it over the girl's shoulder. Not the moment he died, that had passed by the time she looked for him, but she saw three bodies stepping away from his crumpled one. One was summoning something, the other two doing something else.
A blind rage filled her, and Ying pushed past Scarlett. She had to get to Jing, even though she'd probably not know what to do when she got there. Her entire brain was shutting down, telling her two things.
The first: Get to Jing.
The second: Kill.
She descended upon Yin in a matter of seconds, shooting a bullet straight between his eyes with no hesitation. Where were the other two that had kill Jing? Where the ******** were they?
Ying looked down at her brother's twisted form, and the rage melted away, her eyes emptying of any emotion as her brain tried to comprehend what was in front of her. She crumpled next to him, trying to lay him more neatly, trying to cover his scars and his bones. "Jing," was all she could say, placing a bloody hand on his cheek between tears. "No Jing no, no no no please Jing ..." She pressed her face into his chest to try and feel a heartbeat, but of course there was none. Jing began to fade into miasma and the tears wouldn't stop.
Somewhere in the space of her mind she knew she was making herself an open target. Miasma swarmed around her and she could feel power, but it didn't matter to her. She just pulled Jing closer and cried, not caring if anyone else took her with them.
This was all wrong.

Bitter tears were still streaming down her cheek with little sound as she watched the octopus swim around in air, slowly fading as well into her. She took a deep breath, tried to relax herself amongst the chaos of the battle field. She knew the others had done their hard kills - she had done hers now. They were together in the thick of things once again, weren't they?
The first sight her opened eyes took in was Yin getting a bullet to the brain by some Blue Kingdom gunner. No...not their knight. Not Yin, another friend back in the real world.
Without hesitating, Gene rushed in to kill the girl with the octopus - albeit it had grown a little smaller. Still, it did it's job of suffocating the harlot.

Despite the counter by the queen, Snap didn't move. Her grip tightened more and instead Concetta seemed to fatigue. She yowled like a wounded cat as an arrow buried in her knee, blood soaking through the velour pants. "Faaaahk." She yowled, breaking the arrow off and throwing it inthe direction of it's archer.
"Ya got that blood you wanted!" She delivered another few punches to the Red King with increasing intensity. It seemed the angrier she got, the stronger her fight was fueled.

Mitsu had felt the pull as she came back to reality. Or at least what was the only reality she knew. It was startling and unreal, leaving her feeling empty and sad. Everything was a lie. Her only true purpose had been to battle, to give her life for a pointless cause but for just a moment she was going to indulge herself and seek out the one she wanted to see the most. Then and only then would she decide to fulfill her purpose and join the battle once more.

She would have agreed with Molan, though her choice of words for being around the King was rather terrifying. With all the people spotting him and thinking him wonderful prey. Olivia seized up in her responses.
She wanted to say yes, because she did want to live and not see her life flutter away to pieces. And she wanted to see if she could find happiness even if the place was unfamiliar, but she would at least have someone. But she wanted to tell Molan that she didn't want a new hair piece because the one she had in her hair was more special. But the words died on her lips as the Golds around her leapt into action around her. (This was not really looking at the best of times now QQ).
Olivia watched the two as they engaged in battle, unsure of what to do. Damn all the conflicting emotions, she hiccuped once, trying to clear her head. Decisions, she could make them. She had made one even though she didn't act on it yet and she was now going to make a really stupid one; maybe her brain was just mush now from all the crying and the hard choices she was having to make today... or something. The small girl ran forward, towards Molan. She didn't have a weapon, but she would find some way to help him as he so wanted to help her.

Shun had started to turn back to fight Mot some more, but Gene had the situation well under control. He just stared at the doppleganger for the moment as she completely took out the guy... then went on and essentially nuked another.
"Impressive." he stated, then went on to try and find himself a new target to kill. There were still a lot of people left on the battlefield.
As he made his way around, seeking another false life to take, he came to a halt as he saw a white haired wolf girl that shouldn't be here any longer.
"... You're still alive." he said. He didn't sound angry. It was more disbelief.
Granted. She was wearing different clothing. The rifle was gone too. He stared at her, not really sure what this meant. Then again... Mot was wearing a grey cloak too.

This was going remarkably well. Riley was enjoying herself.. a little too much. In fact, it was karma that decided she was too happy, and dropped a giant dragon in her lap. Her face went from content, to absolutely horrified, in all of a moment.
You have got to be ******** kidding me.
Before the rest of her team could notice, Riley slipped away from the wave of attack, and ran, headfirst, for Jericho. She stopped just short of hitting him, and stared up at the dragon, her eyes filling with dread.
I think I would have preferred to fight elf-you. She muttered, under her breath, as a hand reached out to claw at him for his attention. HEY. BIG GUY. OVER HERE.

Out of nowhere, a purple tentacle monster came and attacked him. With a snarl, he turned towards her.
"You wanna fight? WELL YOU GOT ONE!" he roared before charging. As he came close, he closed his fist and aimed a punch right for her face.

It didn't take her long to find the man she was looking for. Or rather it didn't take him long to find her. Her eyes softened as his eyes turned toward her and she gave him a weak smile in greeting. There wasn't much to be happy about but seeing him again at least took the edge off the despair she felt.
"I...won't be here much longer." Mitsu said softly looking out toward the battlefield. She likely wouldn't last and she wasn't aligned with any kingdom. "I....I just wanted to see you again. Just once more. Before there's nothing." Would it do any good to explain that she wasn't real? Would Shun even believe her?

Shun wasn't entirely certain what to do here. At least not yet. Did he really need to have to kill her again? For now, he held his position as she spoke. His expression softened subtly.
"You will see me again," he said quietly. Maybe not this figment specifically. But the real her.
There was something interesting though. She was the second person to say that everything was going to be destroyed. And the other person? Was also clad in silver. Something was going on here. Were they running out of time?

It was just like him to take her on so quickly. In fact, if she looked at him carefully, this Jericho was almost... more Jericho than the one back at home. That thought forced a melancholy to descend on Riley's heart, keeping her from truly enjoying herself anymore.
She didn't even talk to this facade, the way she had to Malodore's. If she did, she knew she would be weak to it just as she'd been weak before. Jericho's ferocity, his anger, his absolute fury, they were beautiful things. She didn't want to look too long - she knew it would get harder, and harder to hurt him.
Her eyes looked away, focusing instead on Shun and Mitsu as her tentacles snapped out, diving into Jericho's body. She narrowed her eyes at the interaction, whispering angrily to herself.
