With just enough energy stored up, Amaya decided that it was time to give her assignment a final go. Taking in a slow breath through her nose, the child decided to use a different approach this time around. Focusing on her chakra, the Keiji covered her wrist with a visible field of energy. This was for the same effect that she had been using it beforehand; fiction reduction. Twisting and turning her wrists, the girl tried to wriggle through her bonds. Her shoulders would lift and adjust to allow for new positioning of her hands and new angles for her wrists and elbows. It didn’t take long before the girl’s hands emerged from behind her back, freed from their entrapment. She took a long stare at her hands as she turned them and twisted them to inspect them. When she went to take a look at her wrists she was surprised to see the bluish purple glow of her chakra encasing them. This was the first time she had seen it before aside from the flickering light cast on her eyelids during the molding exercise. Amaya was slightly entranced by the flowing energy, but she soon released it as she felt her energy reserves depleting.
With her hands freed, the child reached up to her mouth and carefully peeled away the incredibly sticky tape. It didn’t come easily, but once it did she moved her mouth and jaw; appreciating the freedom of movement. There was a distinguished light pink mark where the tape had been plastered to her face, but that would fade shortly. Once she had set the tape aside, the girl pulled the rope out from behind her back to untangle the final knot. Fine, she had just slipped out and didn’t bother untying it when it was behind her, but this would do just as well and she had practiced an escape technique. Once it was all untangled, she neatly raveled it back up into a neat coil, tied it off, and set it to the side. Thank goodness she was out of those confines. Then, since she had been thinking about while she was bound, the child strode over to the window, clambering up into the sill, and slid it open to allow air to move through the room. Even if it didn’t cool the room down, it would at least make it less stuffy. She sat up there for a short while, taking in the outside that she would have loved to joined.
Once she was done daydreaming, which only took a few seconds; the child looked back at her classmate, though she didn’t abandon her window sill. “Sakura-san,” the girl started quietly with a smile, “once I got to the upper knots it helped me to move them down towards my hands. Scissoring motions and alternating arm twists really helped me get everything into position. Just make sure that you keep track of which knot goes first.” The girl used her arms out in front of her to perform the motions she was trying to explain since she knew her verbal skills weren’t exactly up to par; hopefully that helped her friend and hopefully Sakura wouldn’t be offended with advice from a child…or at least someone younger than her. Amaya reminded herself to only help Sakura verbally and not to go over and untie any knots for her.

Just as Amaya was allowing herself to drift off into imaginings of playing in the dirt, she picked up on a very large chakra signature that she hadn’t noticed earlier. While she hadn’t been paying attention to other people’s or trying to memorize her classmates’ signatures, she knew this one was new. The small girl waited a moment to really track where it was. Though she was still fairly new to all of this, it seemed like it was down towards her classroom. This wasn’t Ko-sensei, that much she was sure. Finally, curiosity got the better of her as she hopped down from the window sill. However, there was an obstacle in her way; and a big one at that. When the child looked down, she saw her bento box at her feet. Now she had to decide whether satisfying her curiosity or food was more important. Finally, she resolved to investigate. She had nothing better to do anyways.
“Sakura-san,” Amaya started as she began to walk across the room, “do you sense that?” Why was she asking? Sakura still had tape over her mouth! The small girl didn’t quite realize how insensitive she was being, so she continued on. “I’m going to go see whose signature that is, but I will be back soon enough to eat. Best of luck to you!” Since Amaya had talked with Sakura so much, and she was still on a bit of a proud streak from her assignment accomplishment, she was starting to come out of her shell. However, she was sure that would change when she approach a new person like she was insanely setting out to do. Once she got to the door, the girl slid the classroom door open cautiously, checking for Ko-sensei just in case. After being sure the coast was clear, she was convinced that he was going to jump out and tie her up again, before setting off down the stairs. Reaching the bottom, Amaya spotted the source of the signature immediately. An older boy, though only in his mid teens, was standing outside their classroom door as if he was waiting for someone.
Steeling herself against the newcomer, Amaya quietly walked up to the boy; though she wasn’t sure what she was supposed to say. “Hello,” wow, what a brilliant way to start off. Her hands were clasped in front of her as she gently wrung her fingers with nervousness. “Are you looking for Ko-sensei? I can fetch him for you if you like.” The small girl was dwarfed by the young man, or at least that’s what it felt like to her. And of course she made the assumption that, by standing in front of their classroom, he was searching for someone in the class. Either way, she had opened the door now, she wasn’t sure how she accomplished it, but it was open.

Just because water conforms does not mean it is any lesser an element. There was the movement of a small chakra signature... A child approached him, and before she fully reached where he stood, golden eyes slowly opened. A petite girl, one of the students here, he mused as he quietly observed her.
"Ko-sensei?" He echoed her words, a hesitant light crossing his eyes.
Must be one of the Academy teachers.
The light faded back to neutral examination.
"No..." He murmured. "It's quite all right."
There was a longer pause, as he seemed to consider what to say.

The Keiji froze slightly when she was asked to provide the man with a tour. Obviously, he wasn’t seeking anyone. The only reason she hesitated was because she had only walked the entirety of the school once before and she didn’t want to make a fool of herself, but then again she was also confident that she could do it. Not to mention, this guy seemed as shy as she was. That would make things much easier. With slight resolve, Amaya decided that she was up for the task. She looked up at the man with a gentle smile on her lips, faint red marks still resting where her mouth had been taped. “Of course, I would love to give you a tour of the Academy; this is only my first day though, so I ask that you be patient with me.”
At that, Amaya turned, using her hand to give the man an adorable “follow me” gesture as she set off towards the arena. “On this first floor we mainly have classrooms. That door you were in front of is where my class is housed. There are currently…” the small girl paused as she double checked her count. “seven people in our class, though some of the students are more advanced than others.” As she finished her sentence, the child pushed open a set of doors leading to the outside. There was a high stone wall and a defined track surrounding the area. “This is arena is mostly used to target practice.” The girl said while motioning towards the wooden dummies. “As you can see, we also have a track that loops around that area. It is confined to this area though, so it doesn’t go out to the front of the school.” Once she was sure her guest had his fill of the arena, she led him back inside and started up the stairs.
Once they reached the second floor, Amaya pulled a little kid point towards the door that Sakura was behind. “In that room we are being taught the Nawanuke no Jutsu, but that is supposed to be a bit of a secret because Ko-sensei is using a surprise attack on us when we go in there.” Silently, she wondered how Sakura was doing and she hoped all was well. Maybe she was almost done and would come to join them soon. Then again, this was a good chance for Amaya to work through her shyness because, even though her speaking voice was quiet, she was still clear and without a stutter; which was one of her biggest problems. “This floor consists of classrooms and offices, though most of them are empty. You’re welcome to look inside one if you like.” With that final statement she indicated an empty classroom that he could peer inside if he so desired. The young girl waited for him before heading up the stairs to the third floor.
Upon their arrival, Amaya opened a large set of double doors, leading into a large, fairly empty room. “This here is the dojo.” The child said while motioning towards the fairly impressive space. “Here we have our sparring sessions and this is also where we learn our taijutsu techniques. Over there,” this time Amaya was pointing towards a large room in the corner of the arena, “is our armory where we keep all of our basic supplies. There’s nothing too fancy provided, but it is more than enough to get the basics down.” With that, the girl gave him a little smile, proud of how well she did with the tour; though he may have thought otherwise. “Was there anything I missed that you were wanting to see or know about?” Now the child was a little bit nervous about whether or not she had given him all the information he needed or wanted. What was he doing there, after all? He wasn’t wearing any insignias or seals, so she had no idea where he was from or what clan he hailed from.

The class was nearly abandoned by the time Yae had reached it. Only the white-haired Inuzaka girl and Ko-sensei remained. The training kunoichi was pretty sure lunch was next on the schedule, but she figured it was best to make sure before demanding food. She went to the desk she had chosen near the back. The scroll made a rattling paper sort of noise as she unfurled it. Yep, lunch was next.

Fudou ended up being the one caught off balance as Shiro ducked and then socked him in the jaw. He completely lost his balance and fell ungracefully onto his back. It was hard to tell which hurt more, his jaw or his spine. He lay there for a few seconds, smarting. Still, he could tell when he was beat.
"Ch." He had half a mind to spit onto the ground but he wasn't alone and the social repercussions would be too great. It might be misunderstood that he was angry at Shiro instead of more generally at himself. Plus this was a school after all. And the white-haired kid had a point. He raised one hand to nurse the bruise on his chin and pushed himself up with his other three limbs. He turned to give Shiro a small nod before heading off by himself back to the classroom. Next time...
He stepped into the classroom and was surprised to see a familiar face. "Huh, so you came after all."

Yae turned when she heard the familiar voice. Her look of mild surprise quickly turned into a childish grin. From what she could tell the fight had taken it's toll on poor Fudou.
"You look terrible," she teased. Yae actually felt a little bad for him. It's not like she would hold herself well in a fight. At any rate, the sparring lesson appeared to be optional, so she would almost certainly opt to skip it. With her syllabus scroll in hand she pointed toward his jawline, indicating the sore-looking discoloration where the other boy had clocked him. "Did you run into a bully?"

This didn't work as well as she thought it would, as the glow spluttered and changed shape irratically. This blade would also be too dull to do anything with it, she realized with a sinking heart, and she immediately dropped the idea of continuing this further less she wasted her chakra and passed out. Because she didn't have enough chakra control, it wasn't going to form the way she wanted to yet, and it took too much energy to maintain. Feeling a little dizzy, she closed her eyes and took a deep breath to steady herself. Almost losing balance, she felt lightheaded from the spell, not to mention exausted. Amaya seemed like she was almost done, looking at her pace. A couple more and she'd be out of here. Sadly, she still had 5 more left, and was out of energy. Hoping the rest would quickly replenish her chakra, Sakura rested her head against the wall and waited for her depleted chakra levels to be brought back up again.

As Sakura was dozing a little, Amaya finished up the last of her ropes and pulled free of them. It had taken her a while, but she had finally finished and pulled the tape off from her mouth. Amaya glanced at the bento box before they both noticed a large chakra signiture out in the hallways. For some reason it felt a little familiar, even if it was very vague. She wondered who it was, until Amaya caught her attention and informed her of how she had gotten free of the ropes, and that she wanted to go investigate who that was. Since the chakra wasn't menacing or actively trying to be concealed, it was probably no one too dangerous. Nodding to show she had understood and trying to convey her thanks for the small tip, she fell back and leaned against the wall again, feeling tired. 'If only she had gotten the tape off...; she thought a little tiredly. 'I could breath a little easier. At least she left the windows open,' Yuki comforted herself as she let the wind blow on her face, cooling down the room temperature a little. She would have to thank Amaya later when she was out of the bonds. Now if only she could remember who that chakra signiture belonged to....

Now Sakura was alone in the room, and she could feel Amaya's chakra signiture going towards the bigger one. It seemed to linger there for a moment before they dissapeared elsewhere. It didn't seem erratic like a person in distress, so Yuki let it be, and dozed off again. All that hectic activity had gotten her tired, and the taunting bento boxes were torturing her with the good smell no jutsu it was using on her. Welcoming the cool drift of wind that carried the fresh scent of trees and succumbing to the drowsiness, she shut herself off from the current situation and enjoyed the peaceful silence of the room, really falling asleep as she rested. Dozing off, she just hoped no one would be there to disturb her sleep and make it awkward to be together in the same room.

Just because water conforms does not mean it is any lesser an element. He recognized that reaction... It was one he was familiar with, one that he was on the receiving end of many times. Like when the patient finds out it wasn't their usual Senju or Hyuuga doctor whom will be treating them for the day. She had tensed up: had he made her that nervous? Was he...did he scare her somehow...? His eyes nervously flickered to the nodachi strapped to his back. Was this what made her nervous? He knew it, he should've sealed his sword before coming here... But it wasn't as if he was here today on a mandatory visit -- yet -- he opened his mouth, intending to tell her that it was all right if she didn't want to, that he wouldn't be offended or anything... B-but what if she already decided he was scary and weird! That would be terrible! Worse, what if she would end up on his team...?
"U-um..." He began hesitantly.
He couldn't get out any more words beyond that.
A terrible manner to begin...!! Wailed his mind.
But then, she smiled.
He blinked in surprise.
She smiled...?
She made a gesture for him to follow.
"A-arigatou..." He mumbled, before following along.
...
...
...
As a child, he had seen the Academy from the outside... But he did not attend school in Konoha, there was never a chance to accustom to the halls. Indeed, there was so much to see. The style of decor was definitely Senju, he wouldn't be surprised if they had built the current Academy.
He listened as she talked. So there were seven students... An uneven number. He wonders how will the graduation proceed, or if perhaps there will come a break in tradition, and that a squad of four will be certified once more. But, this girl had also said some of the students were... More advanced than others? He knew the Academy had several levels, but this explains why he didn't see anybody in the classrooms on the first floor. So they were indeed elsewhere in the building, attending to their own tasks... But if that was the case, he might receive a trio after all.
Bigger than Oto's Academy, that was for certain, he noted as they made their way through the corridors. It was well-funded -- rightly so as the cornerstone of a major shinobi village -- if the architecture and equipment was anything to go by. His favorite was probably the wood carvings above the doors. Now that he took a closer look at them, the carvings had scenes from the warring period: he would recognize that war fan anywhere, the famous weapon of an infamous Ancestor. The Senju definitely built the present Academy, then, given this particular scene had the Fox poised to strike behind the Ancestor. Nobody else will boldly recreate something this antagonistic.
The Academy was built in the manner of traditional Japanese houses, a lot similar to the larger estates, but scaled down. There was an open courtyard, with dummies for target practice. He amusedly noticed that a shrunken was still embedded in the face of one. It was clever, he thought, to have the track remain within the school. Partly for safety reasons, he assumed, so that the students do not wander too far during class hours and potentially suffer accidents. Especially with the present state of things... Field trips probably became a lot less common since before the war.
They returned inside.
When she introduced a particular room, his look became one of astonished suspicion. Nawanuke no Jutsu...? Ambush? What was the teacher doing to his students? In Oto, he had the misfortune to learn the Nawanuke with the others of his class after raiders had tied them up and held the children hostage... Come to think of it, wasn't...this girl's cheeks a little too red...?
His mouth formed a thin hard line.
What was that Chuunin doing?
He shook his head. No. No, he must remain calm. It would do no good to get angry about his potential-students before even meeting them. At the least, they were not placed in an actual life or death situation to learn that technique... That brought up unpleasant memories. Come to think of it, learning the Kakuremino had been just as terrible...
The second floor ended with the offices for the dean and instructors.
The last place they arrived was the dojo on the third floor. The floor was made of polished, dark wood, and he could see why the third floor was reserved for the dojo. The large windows let in plenty of sun, giving the room illumination and just enough warmth, for the windows were higher up on the walls, letting the light slant down and lessen in intensity instead of direct exposure.
"It's a fine place." He replied, in response to her question.
Yes... A fine place. He think she would rather have liked the Academy, had he been able to attend.
He lowered his eyes.
"No... Not in particular."
He had seen other students while they had walked around the Academy. Perhaps, it would be a chance to learn their names...? Figure out a little bit of who they were, what they were like... Maybe she won't mind showing him the identities of the other students.
Ah, he had completely forgotten to ask her for her name.
A soft smile touched his pretty lips, and golden eyes partly closed.
"Gomen, for the rudeness... My name is Akeru, I am a Jounin."
He paused.
"What is your name?"

Inechi Shironaegi Hp: 13/27 Cp: 33/33 MHp: 27/27 After Fudou gave in Shiro relaxed a bit. After his second sparing match in the academy he was now two for two. On top of that he was the furthest in his training which he supposed made him #1. The thought was entertaining but what mattered to him was that he was giving it everything that he had. The results were just a nice perk. Soon he'd be out fighting in the war and that thought really got him excited. Curious as to what he was supposed to do next he check the schedule that the teacher had given him. Well, and extra credit is next... but it's kind of late now and I'm pretty hungry. I can always do the extra credit after class anyway. Might as well skip it and go on to Nawanuke. With his mind determined he made his way back to the classroom. He wasn't sure if Obieko-sensei would object but he figured the guy would cave if he just said no. Once back inside the class room he spoke up, ""Hey Sensei, I'm pretty hungry so can you teach me the Nawanuke real quick."

"Nah," Fudou said bitterly, nodding at Ko-sensei in greeting before turning back to Yae. As the fight started it had quickly become clear to him that he was the weaker one in the battle. And he wasn't really suited for hand to hand combat that he could run off in. But he couldn't keep the disappointment from losing out of his voice. "He was just better." He rubbed his chin when Yae pointed just out of reflex. It throbbed, and every time he touched it the dull pain only intensified, but not unpleasantly. His lip curled when Shiro walked in acting like nothing had happened.
"What did you get up to?" he asked Yae. He really just wanted his lunch already. Nawanuke could wait till after that, right? If Ko-sensei wanted some extra credit like it said on the syllabus scroll they could finish up Kakuremino, right?

Before their tour, she small child had noticed the hesitation and the panic in the young man; that is what allowed her to do the tour other than her training elated mood. She knew there was a similarity between them in the manner of their shyness, so it was oddly easier for her to open up to him. It felt safe in a way. Plus, the gentle stuttering was another thing to point out that the man was shy. Amaya did have a stronger connection with introverts.
During the tour, the girl hadn’t noticed the changing expressions on his face as she showed him the classroom. She thought it was standard protocol for the sensei to surprise the students with the Nawanuke no Jutsu, so she didn’t know that there was something to be upset about. Having her mouth taped also made sense because her calling out to her classmates would also be a hindrance to their teacher if she was warning people before he had a chance to get to them. However, that all came with the ignorance of her young and the naivety of how the academy was supposed to work. Plus, she knew that her sensei was spastic and excitable, so it all made sense eventually.
Once she had finished and addressed the man, she couldn’t help up smile at him. He was just so quiet and sweet. However, a gentle blush rushed across her cheeks when she was asked her name. How rude of her! She had approached him first and she had been dragging him around the school this whole time without even considering giving him her name! The child mentally scolded herself for her lack of manners and her overly friendly disposition with the man as she clasped her hands low in front her and bowed slightly at the waist. “I’m terribly sorry, I was the one being rude.” With that, the girl stood back up in her usually straightened posture, the blush beginning to fade from her cheeks but still not relieving them entirely of their newly pinked hue. “My name is Keiji Amaya, I am an Academy Student under Ko-sensei.” Why did she repeat the fact that she was an academy student? She had already mentioned that this was her first day at the academy, so obviously she was only an academy student. Heck, she had even pointed out a lesson room to him during their tour. Flustered and slightly embarrassed, Amaya looked off to the side, hoping that he wouldn’t notice the slight pink still resting on her cheeks; though she knew he probably would notice.
If only to make things worse, Amaya heard a gentle but undeniably audible grumble from the depths of her stomach. This was just terrible! The one time she meets a kind, polite, fellow introvert she embarrasses herself by not introducing herself and then making body noises because she has neglected to feed herself. One arm crossed in front of her stomach with her palm resting on her side, her opposite hand reached up to nervously tuck a lock of choppy hair back behind her ear, and her weight shifted to one side; all a nervous, embarrassed habit of hers. "I'm terribly sorry about that." was all she could manage to get out as her cheeks flushed another shade of pink.

Yae winced involuntarily when the boy touched the bruise. His willingness to admit inferiority surprised her. She just gave a cool shrug. When the boy with white hair walked in she noticed the slight turn in Fudou's lip. He was clearly more upset than he was trying to let on. "Fist fights are for meatheads anyway."
When asked about what she had done Yae frowned, the mild case of good humor now gone. Just when she had forgotten about the horrible ordeal of running around a track Fudou went and brought it back up. "Oh, I ran laps." And got messed up almost as bad as you... "I was probably going to get lunch now, wherever that is."
A lot of the students were gone now, and Yae had a sneaking suspicion that they were off enjoying a delicious meal.
