Christine.Tremaine Oh...dear. Well, well. This was very interesting. This side of Sylth was definitely intriguing. She approved. Christine's smile grew slightly wider--particularly when he pulled her against him in a decidedly ungentle sort of way. "No need to apologize," she said, moving a little closer, just so she could run one finger up his chest and over his shoulder as she stepped around him. She looked back over her shoulder with a smirking grin. "I don't believe I have a label anywhere that says 'handle with care.'"
Christine casually brushed lint off her sleeve, studying Sylth for a long moment. "I must admit, you have have me suddenly intrigued. For one thing, the air doesn't seem particularly putrid to me. I'm getting the feeling you aren't quite what you seem, Sylth. It makes me want to know more."
Well, learning more about an attractive man was never a bad thing but she also had been under the impression all the staff at Rosentale were happy people who sat around in circles singing sounds about peace and love and happiness. And Sylth, really, had seemed to fit the bill perfectly back at the school. Seeing a different side of him made her wonder just how many of the others weren't quite as happy and unified as they seemed. And, well, she might have particular interest in Sylth because he was attractive and because she liked the feel of the dark undercurrent of his psyche in his current mood.
((=w=; Christine, you creepy lady. That also reminds me that I need to draw her wings at some point...because they're really different than Angela's ))

Christine.Tremaine Christine went willingly with Sylth, amused by both his strange behavior, and his way of talking in riddles. It took a moment to work out what he was saying, but she managed to work out that he likely was not a Human as she'd originally thought (or if he was, he was a completely demented one) and that language frustrated him because words relayed the opposite of what he meant. Which she took to assume that for him 'putrid' air would be nice.
Or something. He had a most dizzying way of communicating.
"That's why you simply choose someone with secrets so well hidden you can't possibly uncover them all," Christine said. "After all, you're right. If you learn everything about someone, they do tend to become rather boring."
"As for Rosentale, yes, it's dull. But to be frank, I wasn't expecting it to be much more than it is. I only came to find my sister so I could...punish her a little." She smiled up at him, quirking an eyebrow. "Though, now that I think about it, perhaps the school isn't quite as dull as I thought. After all, I thought all the teachers were 'horribly peaceful' to use your expression. And now I've discovered I might be wrong."
"Which makes me more curious. Why are you at Rosentale if you find it so drab?"

Christine.Tremaine "I'm not sure how 'important' I think life is," Christine said. "But certainly it's irritating to take it seriously all the time. And what you're saying about the staff makes me very, very curious about them." She was also curious about his circumstances, but decided to save that question for another time. She knew--or at least strongly suspected--he wouldn't tell her even if she continued to press the matter. At the very least, she was no stranger to being different that what she appeared to be though she didn't think she would say that. If Sylth was taking her at face value, well, it was just more convenient for her.
"Well, I have no attachment to Rosentale but then, I have no particular animosity toward it either. So I don't really know why I should want to destroy it."
"Though I'll admit it sounds more interesting than teaching beastiology. But I'm wondering what you--and others, I presume--have against it. I might be willing to help, to stave off boredom."

Christine.Tremaine "Do you really think I have any intention of making teaching a career?" Christine asked, raising an eyebrow in amusement. "Whether or not I lose this job means nothing to me since I'm really on here for one reason. Though...I suppose destroying this place would upset little Angela. She seems to be fitting in quite well from what I was able to uncover. I'm sure watching it crumble would be painful for her."
"Besides, I already intended to get rid of anyone she cares about. I'm sure losing those students and teachers would be detrimental to the school. So in the end, our goals likely overlap."
She wondered vaguely if Sylth was a little simple minded from all his rants about how you could only destroy a school once. Because Christine was sure that with carefully placed explosives and some common sense, you could destroy as many as you wanted. But he seemed to veer wildly between blandly polite and melodramatically evil. She wondered which was the real Sylth, or if they were both acts.

Christine.Tremaine Christine laughed slightly, amused by this casual threat--though she had a feeling he was completely serious, no matter how flippantly he said it. "That is, of course, assuming you could lock me up," she told him. "Of course, I could simply stab you and slit your throat with your own blood." She reached up ran two fingers lightly down his cheek and along his jaw--mostly because she suspected he wouldn't really appreciate the gesture. "But then, you're much too pretty to simply do away with.
"And while being kidnapped by you doesn't sound too bad, being locked up doesn't suit my plans. So if I can't allow myself to be kidnapped, and I can't simply do away with you. I suppose I shall have to join your little group. It suits my intentions anyway, and sounds more interesting than being a mild mannered teacher at a boring school."
"So tell me, who else is in this little group of yours? And how are you planning to 'destroy' the school?"

"When I think about it, rules are like people." ███████████████████ ███ ██ █ Sylthfreiyn was startled by her touch. Mainly because in his culture, women just didn't touch. At all. Unless they were family. And he figured the women were the same way up here since he usually kept a moderate distance from them.
Of course when he lost his senses, it was kind of hard not to be rudely touchy.
Well, he didn't mind actually. There wasn't much warmth in the demon realm but Sylth actually took the warmer temperature in this realm quite nicely and warm body temperature was always a plus. Like most of the others, she had a nice scent. Nice being disgusting since Sylth preferred dirty hands over clean ones. Well, whatever.
Taking her hand and kissing it slowly because Sylth didn't like to be touched unless he returned the favor somehow and then he dropped her hand and straightened up and gave her a polite smile. "Not yet, but if I do feel the need to die, I'll be sure to come to you then. But victims should never be killed quickly. It's much more romantic to draw out a scene. Pain is very much associated with love." Sylthfreiyn said to her in a calmer voice and a slower talking speed.
"I can show you the manor of the man who organized our group. I doubt he will be home since he tends to do much traveling. As for our plans, it had been put at a standstill for the time being. After one of us was caught, we thought that laying low might be best-- but I believe the laying time has already passed." █ ██ ███ ███████████████████ "They are better off strangled and stomped to a bloody mess."

Christine.Tremaine "I never said I would cut your throat quickly," Christine said. "Though I don't know if I've ever found romance in killing someone. It's merely something that needs to be done sometimes. Perhaps I should slow down and enjoy it more next time. I do agree about pain and love though."
"I should like to see this manor, as well as hear about the history of the group. And who was this person who was caught--and how were the caught? It would be good to know so I don't make the same mistake."

Christine.Tremaine Christine smirked, following him into the gate. "My dearest Sylth," she said, giving him a sly smile. "Chains are never tasteless."
"Still, this Javor sounds like a shady individual. Very shady indeed. How shocking that Rosentale would have someone so shady on the staff," she said with mock horror. She frowned slightly at his description of the student. Well, that really could be anyone but she did know one student that had a tendency to blow things up when distressed.
"Do you happen to know what student it was? After all, it might be wise to stay away from someone so dangerous." She couldn't help but feel a little shiver of excitement though. Even though destroying the school hadn't been her plan really, she couldn't deny that hearing more about the situation excited her a little.
This might actually be more fun than she'd first thought...
