Jay grinned and decided he'd ask her a few questions. "Well, I guess I could ask a few more questions..." He murmured gently to her, his smile bright. "Let's see... What was your favorite moment on our trip yesterday?" He murmured and kissed her softly. As he pulled back he whispered. "What's your favorite place to be kissed..." He murmured and nuzzled her, kissing her chin softly as he pulled back and then finally he asked the biggest question.
"Would you like to go steady with me?" He felt like a boy again... if that was possible, he'd never been a teenager, and he wondered if this is what it felt like...

Joi's heart skipped a beat at his last question. Does that mean what I think it does? She decided to answer his questions in the order he asked them. His little attentions and details were making her absolutely melt into him tho, making it hard to think.
Only one? Wow ... "My absolutely favorite? hmm..." she tapped her chin and looked at him with a slight little smirk. "When I got to touch your butt." she giggled, and shook her head slightly. "no, just kidding, cuz that sent ya sailing into the rocks. I think my favorite moment was the instant your lips, touched mine for the very first time." she said that with a lot of care behind her words and she leaned to him, softely placing her lips against his giving the sweetest little kiss before grinning and answering the next question.
"My favorite place to be kissed?" she thought for a moment. "My lips... but if you mean location then ... anywhere. Right here, the mountain, the floor. They're all sweet and yummy kisses." she giggled and leaned to him again, kissing him a little firmer than the last one.
Then she pulled back, a look of confusion was on her face as well as excitement. "I am not sure what 'go steady' means, Jay."

Jay smiled at her and kissed her softly. "Mmmm... It was my favorite moment, it made lightning run down my spine... good lightning..." He murred happily.
"Hehe, That works..." He chuckled, kissing her softly on the lips again, pulling back and nuzzling her gently.
"Going steady... You know, dating, boyfriend and girlfriend," Jay smiled and took her hand, looking down at her and rocking slowly side to side with her in his arms. "I would like to do that... I mean that, I really do... But, you know, only if you want to..." He murmured.

Joi's face just absolutely lit up. That was what she wanted to ask him! They really were on the same wavelength, its kismet! She giggled and squealed and wrapped her arms tight around him, squeezing rather tight actually. "I would love to be your girlfriend, Jay!"

Jay grinned brightly and took a long breath. He winced a little and hugged her tight. "Joi... Hunny... Love... AIR!" He hugged her tight none the less, though it was hard to breath. "And... I... Would... Love to be your boyfriend..." He chuckled weakly, still wanting air.

Joi let loose and blushed, "Sorry, I do that when I'm excited." she admitted meekly. "And right now, I'm really excited." she was practically bouncing in his lap at her joy at this moment.

Jay chuckled and smiled, he leaned down and he kissed her again, holding her as she bounced. "Well I'm glad you're excited, I would be a might bit upset if you weren't..." He chuckled and smiled, brushing her cheek with the back of his hand. "Now don't rush off and tell all your friends now..." He laughed softly.

Joi stopped bouncing and just blinked. What? "Why no?" she was confused at that, she wanted to run to that mountain and announce it to the world that Jay is HER boyfriend and they're madly in love with each other. She wasn't upset nor did she show signs of it, she was only asking.

Jay chuckled and shook his head, he poked her nose softly and leaned down, kissing her forehead. "I was teasing, of course you can tell them..." He chuckled a bit. "Of course, your parents probably will not be keen on the idea at all..." He said with a light sigh.

Joi shook her head vigorously. "NO! Mom and Daddy won't know till I know they've softened up. Or if they ever trust me again." she sighed. "Jay, it doesn't bother you that I might have to wait till I'm adult, does it?" she looked at him with sad eyes, hoping he wouldn't mind. Tho, it did pain her that she could'nt share her happiness with the 2 people that meant the most to her.

Jay smiled sweetly at her and brushed her cheek. "If I have to wait forever to tell your parents, then so be it, as long as I have you I'm happy..." He murmured, and pulled her close, holding her tight. "I love you, and as long as I can be close to you, even if I have to be careful about it, I will be a happy man."
No matter what, I'm going to be close to you, because I love you...

Joi wrapped her arms around him, not squeezing this time, but embracing him lovingly. She laid her head on his shoulder and let out a happy sigh. "Mmm. My boyfriend, Jay. I like the way that sounds." she giggled softly, giving a tender squeeze.
After a few moments of just enjoying the cuddles, she lifted her head to look at him. "Jay, where do you live? I mean... where can I go to visit you?"

Jay blushed a bit and scratched the back of his head for a moment. "About that..." He murmured and looked down at the bed for a moment. "I really don't HAVE a home..." He chuckled. "I was hanging out in the tree next to your house till I came and visted..." He blushed a bit more. "Other than that, I generally sleep where I can find shealther and warmth, I really don't have a home at all..." He sighed.

Joi frowned a little, but it was more a sympathetic expression than one of displeasure. "Why don't you stay at the HQ or Healing House then? My brother stayed at those places until his boyfriend built them a house." she smiled a little bit, tipping her head a little and gazing into his eyes.

"That sounds like a wonderful idea..." Jay smiled. "Though I think I might stay at the HQ, it's closer..." He smiled weakly. "Though, then I won't be able to be on call..." He murmured and kissed her hand. "Though, if it puts a roof over my head it might be worth it..." He murmured.
