I walk to the noble and see if I can poke one of Maxwell's new tails or if I'd just go right through them.

Moriah & Kirino: "Begin!" the Fade Legion noble cries.
Moriah: "Swords?" Mashai'i says. "Hmm...yes...stab it into the ground! Absorb the energies of the ground!"
Kirino: "All right," Jima'ei says. "Start off by absorbing power from the air itself into the Ring. Don't form it, just pull it into the Ring."
Atlanta: The tails are made of semi-solid energy. They act solid until you apply too much pressure; then you go right through them. It feels strange when you pass through them.

Kirino held her arms away from her body, attempting to do what she was told. She tried to draw in as much energy as she could, just letting sit and build up, not letting it form

You and I think alike! This blade is as much of my soul as my body's spirit! I reply. I focus my will as I flip my sword in a dramatic florish and stab it into the ground. Ribbons of translucent green energy come out of my ring, and they wrap themselves across the length of my blade into the ground, causing a very mild rumbling in the earth around me. Not nearly strong enough to have any effect, yet still strong enough to be noticible. Can you mark where Kirino is? This Fade ground messes with my ability to hear and feel vibrations... which is how I "see" normally. Also... make sure that no harm comes to her with my attack, this seems to be more of a trial to learn how to use our rings rather then a test of might. I think to Mashai'i.
(OOC: I actually did talk with the GM about the assumptions I made in this post and got them approved before writing them, and if you would like to do similar things, Silver's pretty open to hearing talk about characters and such, so feel to ask.)

Kirino: Energy quickly gathers in the Ring, soon getting to the point where your arm is shaking from the sheer amount of power that is on its end. "Good," Jima'ei says. "Now...what are they doing?"
Moriah: Mashai'i appears to nod. He points toward two blobs of the same color, which is different from his green. "They are the yellow ones," he says. "She is the one on the right. The short one."
Everyone: As Moriah's energy ribbons enter the ground, a series of five chunks come out of the ground. Rather than normal ground, they are quartz.
Moriah: You see five green blobs near you. "These green things are what you summoned: chunks of the land," Mashai'i explains.

"Huh..." I then turn to watch the others to their trials. I'm not sure what Moriah is up to though.

Thank you for the help! Now I have a target location... Should I build up more power, or fire? I trust your gauge better then mine, since I need more of a feel, being my first time and all... I reply. I continue to focus until I get a responce.

"Uhm.." Kirino stared at the scene before her, "She's blind right? Maybe she's trying to find us or something using her ring." She tried to draw in even more energy, putting her hands together in front of her. Suddenly large chunks of quartz erupted from the ground between her and the other girl, "What on earth is she doing?" She streched out her arms, keeping her hands together, trying to keep herself balanced. Her tail twitched, she didn't like not understanding what her opponent was up to...

"Hmm, this is interesting..." Maxwell said as he looked at what Moriah was doing. "Maybe I can try and incorporate some of what the others are doing into my own attacks."

Manra felt the vibrations and wondered what was happening before after a while some stone came out of the ground. She looked at the quartz stones with a slight interest as she began to fade into her mind again, as she began to imagine a house that sparkled...like a glass house but it didn't break...when stones hit the windows because they were made of the quartz...

Moriah: Mashai'i holds up his hand for a moment. "Go!" he cries suddenly.
Kirino: "Release!" Jima'ei says.
Maxwell: "I don't control the ground," Mihi'o says.

I swiftly pull out my sword and reposition it for a slash. I deliver a diagonal cut from my right hip up to about as high as my left shoulder, flinging the five pieces of quartz towards Kirino so they fly in a straight wave pattern following my cut.

No, I meant as in using my daggers as catalysts for my weapons. Maxwell said to Mihi'o, hoping she understood now of what he was saying.

Kirino opened her hands, aimed at the other girl, and released all the power she'd been building up. This was all so strange and new to her, but it felt good, to have so much power resting on the tips of her fingers and then releasing it.

Moriah & Kirino: The burst of yellow energy takes out three of the chunks, but two are left flying toward Kirino.
Kirino: "DUCK!" Jima'ei says. He drops to the ground, hands over his head, a** in the air.
Maxwell: "Oh," Mihi'o says. "Hm...yes, that could work.
