Her return to the course was marked with the cries of fleeing gnomes. At least one ended up in a body of fire and lava.
"That's for the distraction you little shits."
She turned towards the course once more shaking her body down growling. That was annoying, she hadn't even started running the course and she had it screwed over by some trigger happy gnomes who didn't think she was running quick enough. So she tried again, stomping towards the hurdles when a hail of gun fire lit her up.
Apparently the gnomes didn't take kindly to her attacking their friends as she was sent tumbling full of holes into the hurdles ******** GNOMES!!!!" She howled as the flames took her again.
She was really glad she didn't wear her favorite jackets.

Third time was a charm. When she returned yet again with less bullet holes and seared flesh then when she left it would cause the gnomes to think twice before trying to hit her again. She had some sort of determination to keep this up.
So with no shots ringing out around her causing minor war flash backs she sprinted towards the burning hurdles leaping across easily for the time being. Hopefully the luck would keep up.
And the gnomes where hopefully out of ammo.

The next part that came up as she cleared the last hurdles was no easier. Burning rings of fire that she would have to jump through again, but this time she had to avoid the top and sides. Sprinting for the first one she jumped clearing the ring, then another, and another. Each jump dragged her momentum down, but it wasn't enough to stop her. Just as she reached the final one she took a dive, leaping through the ring if flames rolling across the dirt before bouncing back up to her ******** Jack, this had better be worth it..."

Bombs. Lots and lots of bombs.
She ran right into the spinning chaos, bombs chomping at the end of chains lashing out to bite and burn her flesh. She dipped, ducked, dodged, and spun around turning to suddenly face another one swinging towards her smashing into her with a loud blast.
Cricket was probably going to be sick of seeing her today.

Her boots thundered across the dirt, she didn't bother to pause at the first hurdles, leaping over each one with furious rage burning in her eyes. She had a reason to do this. She needed someone who they knew was against the boogiemen, someone who could get in and out and tell them more. Nox was the first step, finding the Ninja would be next, ultimately QB as well.
Shots rang out from a few gnomes but for the moment she didn't even notice as she started to run towards the burning hoops again.

Of course all her focus couldn't help her dodge a bullet. She went to dive through the next set of burning hoops crouching to leap when something stung her left leg causing her to drop down face first on the track.
Also face first into a burning pole.
She didn't give them the satisfaction of screaming though, she simply tugged herself up the burning pole and held out a boney middle finger towards the spectating gnomes before finally falling apart again.

The hurdles, really it was annoying to fail so early. The first three jumps where all clean till her foot hooked the final hurdle sending her into a flailing tangled mass of burning hurdler and undead ghoul.
The gnomes of course only laughed, they didn't even have to shoot this time!

Hurdles, hurdles, hurdles. Somewhere Siddie was probably having tea, Shehk was comforting Jericho, and Sammy was setting herself on fire again, and again, and again. Gnomes where laughing but she didn't have the jack damn time to murder each of them as she crashed into the hurdles again.

Somewhere a series of gnomes where taking bets, most thought she would give up after 20 tries, some figured less. As a result more of them where taking pot shots at the ghoul as she leaped the hurdles. Great, they where getting actively interested in trying to kill her now.
How swell this was she mussed as she cleared the last hurdle.

The hoops again, a series of dives and rolls where required to get her through once more as bullets pinged the dirt. Gnomes cried from the stands to 'Sit still you rotten whore!' 'Leme pop yer brain meat!' and other charming phrases as she cleared the last ring sprinting for the spinning chaos of bombs.
"I hate bombs."

It seemed one of the gnomes thought to increase the odds of her giving up it should rattle a few of the bombs up. So among all the chaos was one lone gnome, desperate for a few extra seeds smacking jack damn bombs with a stick.
Of course this was a poor life choice for the gnome as the last one it hit blasted both it and Sammy back to Crickets.

Sammy returned with the gnome in hand, the squirming little creature was shouting something about being put down but quickly stopped when sammy shook it about like a crying baby. "You. Shut. The. ********. UP."
She started into the course again gnome in hand, sprinting over the first hurdles the gnome screaming in terror the whole time.

She didn't make it very far with her gnome hostage who she had planned to use like a minesweeper in the bomb portion. No the little brat managed to pull a small rock from its pocket stabbing her in the leg just as she went to jump.
The only bright side to bursting into flames on those hopes was watching the gnome running away on fire as well before falling over burning up just as she ******** 2: fail

All the dissipation where starting to catch up with her, she was feeling more and more exhausted with each return trip. She could barely clear the first hurdle before she smashed into the second one.

One more round, the thought crossed her mind as she moved to the hurdles again before taking a running start clearing the first stage of the course with a bit of ease.
