"Memory is the treasury
and guardian of all things."

_______________________________________________

(( hooray for opening ))

[Guardianvow returned to camp carrying a dead mouse, his fur standing on end with frustration. He dropped the measly catch onto the pile, scuffing dirt with his paw and lashing his tail.
Stupid bloody prey, he thought unhappily. Stupid bloody squishy ground! I don't understand how Puresun hunts so well in this undergrowth!
His belly rumbled, but he refused to eat until he could catch more for his Clan. Truth was, his hunger only made him grumpier than normal.

He snorted and stomped to a large patch of dry dirt, flopping down onto his side. His eyes closed, but his twitching tail gave away his agitation as well as the fact that he couldn't sleep.
What's the point in doing extra hunting if all you can bring back is a mouse?]

DEFENDER'S VOW: ((Play time~ and let's just say he got out of the nursery...it's like a quick transposition in this post))

[Small paws flailed in the air, beating at an invisible enemy that only existed in dreamland. His fore-paw suddenly knocked into something sharp, sending a small shock of pain through his leg. That was all it took for him to finally open his eyes, breathing out a small gasp of surprise. The young kit quickly sat up in his nest, wondering if the imaginary enemy really had come to life. That was until he noticed a branch poking out above his head. Olivekit licked his injured paw and rubbed it over his face, trying to clear the blurriness sleep gave. He looked back at the branch with a tilt of his head, pawing at the dry wood. Weak rays of sunlight invaded the small opening, forcing Olivekit's eyes to narrow against the glaring lights.]
Did I sleep through the morning? He thought in dismay, not usually one to be a heavy sleeper. [Someday, he was going to be an apprentice, and an apprentice never slept so late because of training. Just thinking of what an apprentice got to do made Olivekit all the more excited, evaporating any earlier fatigue.]

[The kit sped out of the nursery as quick as he could, just in time to see an ash-gray warrior (Guardianvow) bring back a piece of prey before flopping down on a large patch of dirt. He couldn't help but notice how downcast the warrior looked, and that was never a good thing!]
He needs some cheering up!
[Olivekit rushed over to the fresh-kill pile, scooping up the small mouse he saw Guardianvow carrying. He fit it easily between his teeth and instantly felt the warmth that came off of it. As if it were still alive.]

[He began running towards Guardianvow, but stood a good distance away when he saw something that caught his eye: Guardianvow's twitching tail. Dropping his 'catch', Olivekit began stalking quietly towards this new type of 'prey', rocking his haunches from side to side while his paws knocked on loose gravel. Once in range, the kit jumped as high as he could, landing with a hard thud on the warrior's tail. He began wrestling with it, letting out low grunts and laughs at the same time.]

"I'm catching stuff too, Guardianvow! Just like you! I think I caught an adder...it's a bit fluffy though!" Olivekit mewed loudly. "Don't just lay there, you gotta help me carry this to the pile!"

[The brisk morning dragged on and on, not being fair to the sun. A menacing chill surged through the she-cat's body just by listening to the sound of the rain alone. Her body felt weak and fragile, as if she turned into an elder in the matter of minutes! The secured structure of the warrior's den didn't aid her in any manner. An illness has planted itself into the she-cat's womb.
She whimpered in agony and tried to handle this sickness. With all the energy she can gain, Blossomstream opened her heavy eye-lids and scanned the den. The comforting scent of her brother entered her nostrils. She vaguely remembered crawling into her brother's nest and resting next to Lionfur in the middle of the misty night.
The she-cat's body heat grew stubborn and increased in the cold weather. Blossomstream mewled like a sick kit, only wanting the comfort of her own brother.]

The strangely patterned tom trotted into the camp clearing, carrying a large and plump lizard as well as a decent-looking mouse in his jaws. At the very least, he managed to bring in a good sized catch to the clan, which would feed two hungry warriors at least. Dropping both pieces of prey onto the pile, he paused for a moment before plucking his mouse away with his jaws, trotting towards an isolated corner of the camp to enjoy his well deserved meal. One of the more superstitious cats shot the masked tom a dirty glare as he passed, making it evident that a few of the cats around the clan still blamed the mysterious tom for the strange happenings. He flicked his dark tail a little uncomfortably, settling down in his usual quiet corner in camp to enjoy his meal. If anyone stared at him, he gazed back with his usual blank and uninterested look, which seemed to be the permanent expression on his face. It didn't take the ravenous tom long to devour the mouse, bones and all, and he licked his maw clean of blood as he stood up and trotted towards the Warrior's Den. The sun was almost setting, and usually one more patrol was sent out before dusk so he had some time for a brief nap.

As soon as his nose poked through the entrance, Ghostwhisper immediately realised that something was wrong. The stench of sickness wafted towards his nostrils, almost making him want to retch. His sapphire eyes blinked as his pupils dilated, adjusting to the dimmer light. Inside, he could just about pick out a mass of black and white fur, curled up into a tight ball and mewling like a kit. There was only one tuxedo cat in Nightclan, and that was... "Blossomstream." It was more of a statement than a greeting or a concerned question, and as usual Ghostwhisper spoke in a hoarse rasp, courtesy of his permanently ravaged vocal chords. "You did this! You did ALL of this!" The cackling voice of an elder could be heard from the elder's den, her voice cracked with age. Ghostwhisper didn't even bother looking back to see who she was. The mask-patterened tom grimaced as Blossomstream mewled again, stepping away from the entrance in case it could be transmitted. Where was Rabbitfoot when he was needed?

[The rain piled on and on, not backing down. As if feeding off the she-cat's health, the illness caused her throat to be dry as an elder's youth. Blossomstream embraced her brother's nest and snuggled her head between the damp moss. Brother, please come.
The atmosphere that surrounded her turned into a stale and eerie feeling. Blossomstream opened her pale emerald eyes and scanned the area. Her lids were growing dark from the sickness, as if her natural and enchanting beauty was gradually draining away.
The she-cat felt a surge of panic crawl through her slender yet fragile body. Before her pure gaze, was the presence of Ghostwhisper. The she-cat started to tremble from fear but kept her eyes stuck on the warrior. Many would assume it was because she was afraid of the tom like the others; however Blossomstream only shies away from everyone except for her brother. What a shy kid indeed.
Her ears jerked in one, quick motion as it caught some bickering in the back. Slowly, she turned her gaze and ignored the painful strain that settled within her neck. A couple of warriors were shooting menacing glares at the eerie warrior and whispered amongst themselves rudely. The she-cat, being slow to everything, tilted her head to the side and looked puzzled. Why are they avoiding this tom?
The she-cat felt skeptical as she looked back at Ghostwhisper. Blossomstream managed to handle her irritating symptoms for a little longer. The she-cat took a moment to examine the unique appearance this tom carries. His eyes are blank and dark, but carries such a passionate shade of blue. The tom's coat resembles the color of the snow itself, with perfect symmetrical patterns. But the focal point of all, was the strange mask-like imprint. He looks interesting, and cool. Blossomstream kept her eyes fixed upon the mysterious warrior from the comfort of her brother's nest.]

LOCATION: In front of Warrior's Den

OOC: Do I have to dice roll for sickness? And this is such a bad post I'm sorry ;n;

Ghostwhisper's blue orbs did not miss the tremble of fear that racked through Blossomstream's fragile frame (ALLITERATION LOL), however the only reaction he gave was a blink and another blank, uninterested look at the tuxedo she-cat. It as impossible to tell whether or not he actually cared for the she-cat's well being, the way he maintains a robotic demeanour for everyone. It wasn't clear whether or not Ghostwhisper actually heard the rude whispers and jeers among a few of the warriors, and if he heard it he showed no sign of having done so. "You should go see Rabbitfoot." He said in his usual hoarse rasp, and if the other cats did not know better, it would seem as if he was sick as well. However, it was just how his voice sounded, which was one of the many reasons cats around Nightclan found him a little, if not extremely creepy. "Before you spread it." He added with his cracked, hoarse voice, swallowing a few times afterwards, showing that speaking properly was a difficult feat for him. He could hear someone hissing inside the warrior's den, and in response he stepped away slightly from the entrance.

He couldn't tell whether or not Blossomstream was scared or resentful of him, or whether or not she blamed him for the strange happenings that have been occurring, but all he could interpret from her gaze was that of pure, innocent curiosity. Her black and white head tilted to the side with a confused and puzzled expression, as if trying to figure out whether he was actually a cat or a being from outer space...that is, if cats knew what the outer space was. From this, he guessed that she had never heard of the rumours that surrounded him since birth...which would not be surprising, if she did not pay attention to petty gossips.

(( Timeskip again ebryone, and guess what? ITS FLOODING WHOO

Okay the first part of his post is in response to Olivekit, sorry for not responding earlier. ))

[Guardianvow hissed in surprise as Olivekit pounced on his tail. He whipped his tail out of the kit's grasp, narrowing his eyes at the kitten.]
"Where's your mother?" he asked gruffly. "I'm sure she wouldn't want you playing with warriors like me.
[He sniffed in disdain, twitching his tail.]
"My tail is not a piece of prey, nor is it a plaything. Go back to the nursery where you belong."
[He stalked away grumpily, retreating to the warrior's den where the kit couldn't bother him.]

(( Guardian's my wittle grumpy puss ~

OK now skipping to the present. ))

[Guardianvow stared in shock at the scene before him. It had been storming for days now, and the rain had gotten much heavier. Water began to swirl and pull at one's underbelly, and now, looking at the rushing water pouring around the camp in the dim light, he realized that a flash flood had begun.]
Foxstar yowled through the roar of the rain, "Everyone, get to the pine forest! Kittens and elders must be escorted first! Salvage all the herbs you can! Go!"
[Guardianvow left no time to be wasted. He dove into the nursery, heading straight for Sungaze's litter. He grabbed Charmingkit and Jasperkit in his jaws and squeezed back out, his fur spiking in his urgency.
Foxstar was beside him, grabbing his own Olivekit and Scarletkit.
He dashed out of the Clan with the kittens, following Foxstar and the other warriors towards the pine forest. The water seemed to receed as they ventured deeper into the forest. They finally came to a stop, panting heavily.]
"We need to keep the kittens warm," Foxstar commanded, flicking his ears. "Make sure you watch over one of them. There's no time to build new nests-we'll have to ride this one out."
[Guardianvow nodded. He had spotted a stone formation that had a little crevice in it facing away from the rain, which meant the water flowed past the opening and didn't enter the little cave. He squeezed backwards inside the crevice with Charmingkit and Jasperkit in tow, tucking them into his chest as he settled down. He rested his head on his paws over the small kittens, eyes glittering as he watched the storm rage outside.

Foxstar climbed into a nook inside a thick pine tree. It was shaped funny and was very uncomfortable but offered dry shelter. He allowed his kittens to roam his flank as he settled down, watching warriors shuffle back and forth outside.]

[Rainblast snorted as he felt the water start to swirl around him. Snapping his eyes open he looked around in surprise. He had fallen asleep just in the middle of camp. In his defense he had been out late hunting, or trying to. Jumping up at the sound of Foxstar's voice he looked around the camp. "Sungaze?!" He yowled above the noise. Just at that, he saw his mate's brother take two of his kits out of the nursery. It was times like that where he was thankful for the gray warrior. Rainblast tore forward and squeezed into the nursery setting his eyes on Sungaze and his two other kits. Shaking his head, he padded forward and with a nudge to Sungaze's cheek he bent down and picked up Sacredkit and Goldenkit. With one glance at his mate, he motioned for her to follow as he made his way out of the nursery. Rainblast began to trot in the direction he had seen Guardianvow and Foxstar go and soon he came to the spot. Spotting the gray warrior, the young father quickly padded over to him and set Sacredkit and Goldenkit with his other two. Casting a grateful glance to the warrior, he jumped down and raced back to camp to help the clan.]

“Wha—?” Olivekit called too late, feeling the fluffy piece of prey slip from his paws. His claws were too small to get a good grip on it. [The kit stared into the gray warrior’s eyes, ears flattening over his small head. Guardianvow definitely didn’t look the slightest bit happy. He listened to his words while shuffling his nervous paws, only stopping in movement when a few words in particular caught his attention. Olivekit looked up at Guardiantvow, tilting his head to the side in questioningly.] “But Mommy said I could play with any clanmate as long as I was careful. Mommy says it isn’t good for a kit to laying around for long times. And neither should you.” He retorted evenly, his whiskers trembling with satisfaction. He didn’t think he’d have it in him to speak up to a warrior like that, especially with someone like grumpy-gray.
[But that small burst of pride disappeared when he caught Guardianvow’s last parting words. Olivekit watched him leave, tail drooping. The kit only wanted to cheer his fellow clanmate up… He wondered to himself if all warriors were like this…or maybe, Guardianvow was just different somehow…]

[Olivekit decided to wave off the onslaught of curiosity with a flick of his tail, but he didn’t feel tired at all...so he wouldn’t be going back to the nursery. His eyes wandered to Guardianvow’s mouse he’d dropped off earlier. He found himself stalking over to the small creature, pouncing on it and giving it a hard jab to its small stomach. That’s how you killed prey, right?]

***
[As Olivekit slept, he could feel something wet below him. He looked down to see his own face staring back at him with the same sleepy-eyed expression. A gasp of surprise moved from his throat, and he quickly got to his paws, feeling a squishy sensation under-paw. Olivekit sniffed the air, the heavy smell of rain wreathing over his small nostrils, blocking out the familiar Nightclan scents.] What’s going on? [Sure, the kit liked rain…anything to do with water…but seeing this much of it at one time…? Something was really wrong…]

[No sooner was he able to wonder anymore when he saw Guardianvow rushing in, followed by his father. While Guardianvow carried Charmingkit and Jasperkit, Foxstar had his and Scarletkit’s scruffs between his teeth. All he could do was stare and watch as the small group moved to a part of the swamp he didn’t know about. His crystal blue eyes wandered to the sky above, blinking droplets out of his vision while observing the darkening skies. Somewhere up there just had to have a light…just for the comfort he needed right now.]

[Olivekit snapped out of his trance when he felt himself being dropped on uncomfortable and prickly, but fortunately dry ground. He studied Foxstar’s calculating stare as he surveyed the rest of the clan. He curled his tail around his damp paws, pressing his short-furred body against Foxstar’s flank. Olivekit could easily make out Scarletkit’s bright rowan-colored pelt. The kit wanted to reassure her that everything would be fine…but how could he when he was scared out of his fur.]

“Papa?” Olivekit mewed, trying to keep his voice steady, only the glint of anxiety and fear betraying how he truly felt. “Why is this happening?”

"Memory is the treasury

_______________________________________________

[Guardianvow looked up as Rainblast approached with the other two kittens. He nodded in response as the warrior shot him a grateful glance before running back to camp. As much as he liked to chide the warrior, he had to admit he made a good father. Guardianvow liked to pretend he didn't approve of Sungaze's mate but, in truth, she had picked a good cat. At least she didn't fall for some traitorous weirdo like Shatteredfang did. He counted his blessings for that!
He shifted to make room for the two extra kittens. It was odd that his first response was to protect the kittens...he should be helping the rest of the Clan evacuate...but to be honest, he had the strongest urge to protect his kin. He had seen Shimmerstep running with the group, so he knew she was safe. Silentleopard would be fine with Falconwind's help. He felt a sigh of relief rock through him as he realized all of his kin should be relatively safe now.
His eyes flickered out from the tree, watching the rain pour furiously down.

Foxstar glanced down at his son, his eyes hardening as he shielded his worry and fear.]
"Don't worry, Olivekit," he murmured comfortingly. "The skies are just running their course. The flood will be over soon."
[He didn't want to betray his fear to his little kitten. The prophecy StarClan had sent him in his dreams echoed in his mind. Premonition. This is some kind of warning...
He stared out at the pouring rain and the murky silhouettes of warriors. His eyes narrowed with determination. Whatever it is, NightClan can survive it.]

(( @ Ember: errr not sure how to respond to yours since Foxstar took Olivekit already XD I'll just pretend he was nearby when Foxstar spotted him mkay? ))

Foxstar spotted Falconwind passing by and called out to him, "Falconwind! Help Puresun and Rabbitfoot evacuate the medicine den." Hesitating, he added, "Don't forget you're in charge out there. I trust you'll do well."
[Foxstar was testing the young tom, now. He wanted to see if the deputy could respond to the flood with the same responsibility as a leader. To tell the truth, he also wanted to take advantage of the situation to protect his kittens while Falconwind took care of evacuating the rest of the Clan. Maybe it was a bit selfish, but Foxstar had an unshakable faith the deputy would take care of it. And he knew his fellow NightClan cats could survive worse than a flood.]

Ghostwhisper's ears flattened against his skull as the rain pelted down in torrents, and the thunder raged mercilessly overhead. The swamp had overflowed long ago, and now the muddy water dragged at his underbelly, threatening to pull him down. Through the sound of the pelting rain, he vaguely heard Foxstar issuing orders for all warriors to salvage all the herbs they could, and to escort all the kittens and elders away. Knowing fully well that the elders probably won't appreciate him aiding them, and the kits' mothers would likely not want him around their kits, Ghostwhisper made his way straight towards the medicine cat's den, picking his way through the boggy ground that was once their campsite. From the corner of his eye, he noticed Guardianvow's metallic silver pelt flash past, carrying two kits in his jaws. It seemed that the kits were being taken of and had enough paws helping, so Ghostwhisper continued his way to the medicine cat's den.

Rabbitfoot wasn't present, and Ghostwhisper assumed that the medicine cat had dashed off into the Pine Forest, salvaging whatever herbs he could. He had no idea what each herb was, and to be completely honest he had always felt a little apprehensive about consulting the medicine cat, probably due to the "prophecy" about him that was supposedly received by the medicine cat of moons ago, Yellowdew. With the rainwater rapidly flooding in, he scooped together whatever dry herbs he could find, opening his jaws wide and taking in a huge mouthful. There was no time to pack everything nicely and carry in a piece of tree bark, and he didn't really know if the herbs would be usable after being soaked in his saliva. Still, better than nothing he supposed.

The black and white tom picked his way through the boggy marsh and the rising water level that threatened to wash him away. He lifted his head high to try and not get the herbs wet, making it harder for him to pick his way through. It seemed almost an eternity before he reached the pine trees, and immediately he dug his claws into the first tree he could lay his paws on, climbing upwards swiftly until he reached a small hole in the trunk, probably big enough to fit one or two cats if they squashed together tightly. Ghostwhisper squeezed his way in, his mouth still bulging with herbs and it was starting to make him salivate unpleasantly.

Would he be able to cope with the retched storm conditions? He shook his head, trying to discard these disturbing thoughts. Rabbitfoot could take care of himself, he always had.]

[Falconwind paced into the medicine cat's den and nosed the remaining herbs, other cats had been in here to collect the salvageable herbs. Clasping as many herbs in his jaws as he could carry, the ebony tom retreated from the den and returned to the clearing.]

[Another thought broke the surface of his mind, the one that had pricked at him since the rain had begun to fall, but he had pushed it to the back of his mind. He should be caring for his mate, Silentleopard. He hadn't seen her since before sunrise and now panic gripped his heart. The she-cat had no use of her back legs and who know what could happen to her in weather like this.]

[He lashed his tail and plunged into the center of the clearing, nearly forgetting that he was carrying herbs. He raced to the nearest warrior, passing off the herbs and whipping back around to scan the clearing searching for any cats that could use his help, but also the figure out what orders should be given. He was deputy, but he knew that he was not handling that the way that a leader would for orders had already been given: escort elder, queens, and kits out and salvage the herbs. What else could he do other than search for stragglers?]

[Turning he headed for the elders den, slithered in only to discover an elderly tom (random NPC) had remained in his nest, too worn out to stand on his own. The ebony tom padded swiftly over to him, belly brushing the soaking ground. He nudged the elder to his paws, despite his weak protesting and supporting the elder's weight on his shoulder, Falconwind made their way to the pine trees, gasping under the weight of the slow moving elder. He bristled and hissed at one point where the elder slipped and found his head beneath the water. The ebony tom grabbed the elder by the scruff and secured his paws' hold before they made their way to the rest of the clan.]

[When the NightClan deputy made sure that the elder was safe with the some of the other warriors, he turned back into the wind. The rain lashed his face and tom turned back, racing towards thew camp to aid the remaining cats in the camp. Once more the fear for Silentleopard rose in his chest and gripped his heart while he shot back through the camp entrance, heading straight for the warriors den, praying that Silentleopard was nearby and that she was safe.]

Where are the heroes
In my time of need
Is my cry not loud enough
Or have they gone all numb

They just stand and stare
Out of the rain
Thinking but not acting
That they're not to blame

S i l e n t l e o p a r d
NightClan Warrior

Falling and crawling
A fight to stand up
Memory still haunts me
In the dead of night

Over and over
I felt so small
But one day I'll be stronger
And you better watch out

XXX The storm had struck so quickly that it seemed no one was prepared, especially NightClan's crippled warrior, Silentleopard. The blue-eyed cat had been resting on the outskirts of the camp, underneath a few bushes, waiting for her beloved mate to return. She had been just about to fall into a light sleep when the first drops of rain had fallen from the sky. It didn't take long for Silentleopard to become soaked as she struggled to her feet. Due to her inability to use her hind legs, the warrior relied on her front paws to pull herself around. They had grown very strong as she had trained to be a warrior and could now support her without a problem. However, as the ground became muddier, the harder it became for Silentleopard to pull herself along. The mud stuck to her fur and weighed her down. She struggled to force herself to take another step and then another, her eyes locked on the exit of the camp. She needed to get out of camp. Her family was already out as was most of the cats. She just needed to keep moving and ignore the cats racing past her. Curse her useless back legs! Hissing in anger, Silentleopard continued her slow pace as the rain continued to pour and water began to surround her. The camp was flooding, she had to get out now! But try as the small she-cat might, the mud seemed to trap her in place, preventing her from moving as it sunk underneath her weight. She could find stable ground to pull herself up with but she tried anyway, her front paws desperately trying to find hard ground. Though her front paws just kept sinking in the mud as the water kept rising. Blue eyes frantic, Silentleopard watched in horror as the last cats escaped from camp. Where was Falconwind? Oh dear StarClan where was he?! He had to come back to look for her, he couldn't just leave her! Why hadn't she stayed near the warriors den? Why hadn't se called for help sooner? The camp was flooding and she was trapped. She was going to die... no, no! She had worked too hard to die now. She wasn't going to die! "Falconwind!" she yowled, hoping he would be able to hear her over the loud cries of the wind and rain. Someone had to hear her, anyone!

Terror flooded her veins as she glanced around the empty camp. Someone had to have noticed she was missing by now, right? Her brother, or her sister, or Shimmerstep, or Falconwind; one of them had to have noticed she wasn't with the rest of the clan. They were coming back for her, she knew they were. But that didn't stop the water from rising, it didn't stop the rain from pouring down, and it didn't stop the fear from spreading through her. They... they had to find her. She couldn't die... not now. She had just become a warrior and she had jet gotten a mate. She wasn't finished with life yet. She still had a family and she wanted to be a mother... And her mate, her dear Falconwing, she couldn't leave him alone. Not now. Daddy, I need your help... Momma don't let me die yet... she thought silently, praying her parents up in StarClan would hear her, help her. Her body began to grow numb as the water soaked her already wet pelt and turned her body cold. She couldn't feel anything but the cold... the cold and the sleepiness. She felt tired, really tired. Her eyelids felt heavy and Silentleopard tried to keep them open. If she fell asleep, she may not wake up. But she was tired, and cold. A soft sigh escaped her mouth as Silentleopard found the last fight leave her body and her eyelids shut, just as the water seemed to overtake her small body...

~ Timeskip ~

She awoke to the sun on her face but she didn't open her eyes. Her pelt still felt cold and her head hurt, really hurt. She was still tired but she could hear her own breathes, which had to mean she was still alive. She wouldn't be feeling pain if she was dead, and her head really did hurt. Shivering slightly, Silentleopard took a deep breath before coughing roughly, still refusing to open her eyes. She didn't want to move, because something told her it would hurt. She just had a feeling it would. However, she pushed that feeling aside and slowly blinked open her eyes. Everything was a blur around her, except for the sunlight which stung her eyes. Silentleopard closed her blue orbs quickly before opening them once again. This time, her surroundings weren't as burning and she could see a little better. She was in the forest, somewhere, and it was still really wet. She wasn't sure how far away she was from camp or even if the others were nearby by. She felt disoriented right now and knew she wouldn't be able to stand even if she wanted to. Her head was till pounding and she couldn't stop her shivering. She felt freezing and she knew her pelt was wet from the rain. How long had she been out? Had the clan finally noticed she hadn't escaped the camp? Did they think she was dead? Where they looking for her? Something dripped into her mouth and Silentleopard could taste the blood on her tongue. So she was bleeding, probably from her head. She had probably knocked it against something when the flood had carried her away. So she knew she had one injury, anything else? She felt swore all over but she was no medicine cat. She wasn't sure if she had any broken bones or anything like that, all she knew was that she was freezing cold and had a head wound. And she was alone. She wanted Falconwind right now. She wanted to curl up next to him and pretend this was all a dream. She wanted to be home with her family. Instead she was laying here, weak and cold without the ability to move because she couldn't even see right in front of her. She needed help, she needed her family. "Help..." Her voice was rough and cut at her dry throat but she had to try. "Help! Falconwind... help..." She breathed in deeply and blinked her eyes, unsuccessfully trying to clear her blurry vision. Her head rested on the wet grass as she tried once more. "Help!"

OOC:: Figured Silentleopard would have struggled getting out of camp and gotten separated from the clan. So someone needs to find her ^^

Where are the saviours
Afraid of the toll
Sorry do my nine inch nails
Slash your soul

Such heroes
Throwing stones
Straight at the one
Who is standing alone

Twisting and turning
It's always the same
Truth is never honest
When you're to blame

Pushing and pulling
Never give in
One day I wish
You'll see you're not so beautiful within

I will overcome

EMBER SAYS:

~Before Time Skip~
Falconwind had returned to she camp in search of his mate when she hadn't been with the rest of the Clan. He hadn't been able to find her in the camp and panic had driven him to search in the forest for traces of her. he had eventually found a trail of where she could have gone. In the meantime he had known that Foxstar would have to care for the Clan without him. He had to find Silentleopard!

~After Time Skip~
"Silentleopard! Silentleopard!" The ebony tom yowled, racing through the forest. Fear threatened to consume him as he searched for his mate. The rain had washed away any sent of her, but there were such things as clumps of her fur that he had detected. Oh, StarClan, where was she? What had happened to her? Why hadn't any of the other warriors stopped to help her? Why hadn't he been with her when he should have gone to her?! Oh, StarClan, it was all his fault!

Falconwind slipped crashing up to his belly fur in muddy water. Yowling in frustration he scrambled frantically to his paws. "Silentleopard!" he cried.

It was then that he he saw the twisted white body lying in the mud. Fur plastered to her flankand covered with mud, the sent of blood. Blood?! He dove to her side, nosing her.

"Silentleopard, oh, Silentleopard. I'm so sorry! Please open your eyes. Please wake up!" He whispered desperately, pressing his lean black body to her side, pushing his nose into her fur. His body trembled as he rubbed his muzzle against her neck, lying beside her in the mud. "Oh, Silentleopard, open your eyes, please!" He begged desperately.
