they both ran to the porch too. "i'm Kemuri. a friend of Lind's." kemuri said with a bow. "and i'm lily, nice to meet you." she said with a small bow. the top of the porch provided a roof over their heads. Lily looked at the girl who was blue all over. she had wings too. "and who may you be, sweet?" kemuri asked with a sneaky smile and soft, lulling eyes. Kemuri liked cute girls. and cute boys if they're cute. and maybe if they're girly. like the pink haired guy in Gravitation, or another girly male in some random anime...

Hateya crossed her arms as they approached, glancing them over quickly before staring back into space. "Hateya."
Lind flopped on top of the gryphon with a squeal, elicting a small n** from Mel as consequence. "Meelll!" he whine'd tugging on an ear-tuft. "Meel! Meet Kemur~iiii!"
Mel, who was having a rather nice nap, opened one red eye, glanced over at Kemuri and Lily, noded his head in greeting, and fell back asleep.

Kemuri smiled and said, "what a lovely name. Hateya." he pulled out a rose from somewhere hidden in his shirt and handed it to her, "have this rose, sweet. even if, it will never be as beautiful as you." he said with sweet, lulling eyes towards the blue winged girl. Lily looked around to try and spot the Subo. "subo?" she called out quietly.

Hateya stared. Her brow furrowed as Kemuri held out the rose and began talking. The stare slowly morpehd into a glare. By the end of it, a faint scowl had appeared on her face. After a pause of silence during which she glared at him, she reluctantly took the proffered rose, and sunk back in the bench, twirling it around absentmindedly.
...Still glaring, of course.
Subo's head poked out of the front door. "In here. You can come in if you want. Uhm..do you want anything...drinkfoodwhatnot?" she asked, tilting her head to the side.
Lind ran inside, but poked his head back out the door as he realized most of the people were still on the porch. His eyes widened as he watched the scene between Kemuri and Hateya. She wasn't yelling at him? Nowai.

Kemuri eld his hands behind him and smiled a sweet innocent smile. "i'll go follow Lind if you need me, sweet" he said as he pointed to Lind and skipped over with his hands next to him and his palms facing down. he kneeled down faacing Lind and said, "whatcha up to Lind?" and he smiled as if the world would never end, as if the sun would always shine. Lily said "i'll be inside also." and she walked to where Subo headed with her hands in front of her. Lily replied to Subo's question as such, "um. no thank you. the rain ruins my appitite."

Hatey'a mouth drew into a thin line as she watched Kemuri skip over to her younger 'brother'. Sweet, huh? Ohohoho, if he ever hit on her again, he would see the 'sweet' side of her.
"...Idunno." Lind replied after thinking about it. "'Choo wanna do?" he asked, rocking back and forth slightly.
"Aight. Uhm.." Subo trailed offas she glanced into a room that was right off of the front hall. "Right. Here's good. Just..watch your step or where you sit. Cause some things in here NEVERGETOUTOFTHEWAY!!" The last part was said rather loudly down the hall, and several voices were raised in protest as a result. With an slightly strained smile, she plopped down on the couch, moving a ferret-like dragon out of her way as almost an afterthought.

Lily took off her sneakers and took a step into the house. "i'm coming in." she said in a normal tone. she had to alert Subo's house's living critters know she was entering. they might do something and not know there were guests. "iunno, what do you wanna do?" Kemuri asked the young boy. he was clueless about the living quarters of Lind, Subo, Hateya and the bird like creature. "didn't you want me to meet the people you live with?" he asked the little boy with a sweet smile.

"Yeah! C'mon!" With that, he ran back in the house, peering in all of the rooms he passed."Do my earss dessceive me, or do I hear guesstss...?" a voice murmered from further down the hall. Yet another gryphon stepped into the light, beak gaping in a sort of smile and tufted tail twitching eagerly.
"Pleassed to meet you. I am Makaar." the gyrphon said, bowing deeply."'S everyone else here?" Lind asked, still rocking in place as if ready to be on the move again."In their resspective placess, yesss." Makaar answered, staring unblinkingly at the duo.(( Makaar))

"aie!" Lily said backing away a little... "n-n-n-nice t-t- to m-m- meet you.... " she said a little shaky. she hadn't seen many Gryphons... except the one outside which seemed harmless... "i-i'm L-L-Lily..." she said shaky as before.Kemuri walked slowly behind Lind and looked in everyroom Lind looked in. Kemuri was curious about what lay ahead of them in the house. he tucked his wings in so he won't hit anything by accident. Lind seemed far away, so he walked a little faster not looking into anymore rooms he passed.

Mackerel had decided to go on a little walk in the late morning around the neighborhood. She skipped around and sang a little lullaby to herself. Having pulled out her hair ribbon, she held it as she skipped, like a streamer to be played with.

The town was safe enough, made even safer because of the time. Not too many people were milling about, so luckily Alexei didn't get troddened underfoot. Well, that and the fact he had mounted atop his gallant steed, er, dog, Jumbo, who was trotting pleasantly along, the click-click of his long nails the only sound the Herald child found himself focusing on.
Until the Great Dane halted, ears lifting up and head canting as a rather comical and questioning whine came from him; Alexei responded in quite the same way. Very soft, but it was there...he had to squint and plug one ear to really hear it!
Kicking Jumbo's sides as if he were a horse, they rounded the corner to spot Mackerel content in her own little world. Back up, back up, back up! There really WAS no time to hide since she was coming this way and he was going towards her, and he as hard as he tried to duck behind Nio's massive head, he couldn't quite pull it off.
Without warning, the dane bounded towards Mackerel spiritedly.

Mackerel was heard the dog before she saw him. But when she did see him, the girl squinted and stopped. Was there someone on the dog? That was a big dog! "Doggy!" The pooch first, she thought. When the for-legged creature stopped, the girl petted him on the head, and then peaked over his shoulder to the boy on his back. "Hi?" she squeaked with a smile.

Jumbo lowered his head in hopes of lavish praise and love from the strange little girl, and when she pet him on the head, he licked her small hand, pressing his wet nose into her palm. Alexei, on the other hand, seemed to have lost whatever composure or confidence he had thought he had gotten while at the festival.
One blue eye peered out tentatively. "I'm not here!" Was his lame reply.
Hold on a moment...she sort of looked like him...wings and all! 'Cept hers were all different...
...and glowy.

Mackerel giggled insanely at the touch of the dog's wet nose. She started to hiccup in her excitement, and when she finally saw the boy on the canine's back, her giggles seemed to start again, punctuated with hiccups. It was very uncomfortable, but she couldn't stop!
"I *hic* SEE YOU *hic hic*!" Kerel laughed, using her free hand to point at the boy.

Nio wagged his tail in delight; she tasted good! Like all little kids tended to, but much cleaner than his boys, that's for sure!
The sound of her hiccup pierced giggling made him look up a little more, his grip upon his dog's short coat loosening. Yeah, yeah, he knew he was more than apparent on the canine's back: after all, he was all white whereas Jumbo was all toasty-hued. His wings ruffled in embarrassment.
"W-well," he tried to reason futilly. "M-m'be I am, but m'be I'mma fig'r'm'nt of yer 'nation! Ev'r thought 'bout that?"
Certainly the dumbest logic he had ever come up with.
