~~ Two Weeks Later ~~
Luna stretched and got out of bed, happy she didn't wind up leaching onto Casper in the middle of the night like she normally did. Actually, she was pretty sure he was ready to go back to his own room for now. Although she knew she wouldn't get any sleep for the first couple of days after he moved due to worrying about him. She walked out the room, not bothering to change out of her pajamas and went down to the kitchen where her pitcher, not broken yet, lay. Breakfast was essential and she poured two glasses, the larger one for Casper, and downed hers in almost a single gulp, sighing in satisfaction before forcing her fangs back in and putting the pitcher back.
First order of business.. she brought Casper's glass upstairs and set it on the night table by the bed so he could drink it when he woke up, then she headed to her office to do the normal invoices and bill paying and such. Nothing too amazingly fun.
She signed into her IM though and sighed, Salem couldn't completely analyze the poison in the dart and was now complaining about burning eyes and fingers, to which she told him he should have been wearing gloves when dealing with anything that had come from the hunters. blah blah blah, useless chatter and finally the you need to come over and see this she always had to come over and see it according to Salem. She sighed and logged off her computer after telling him she would think about it.

Luna heard Casper in the hallway and stepped outside with a smile. "I'm going to leave you home alone today." she said and grinned. "It had been almost three weeks since she had been out of the house and frankly it was driving her up the wall. She was going to go to Salem's house and help him with the dart analyzing, she also really needed to get back to work with the serum. Although that was at a bit of a standstill. She smiled at him and went back to the room to get dressed real quick, talking to him through the door. "Salem needs me to come over and check something out." she said cheerfully, wriggling into her blue jeans and pulling on a low cut blouse... on second thought.. she grabbed a tee shirt. Sure she could wear clothes like that around Casper, she was pretty sure he wasn't interested in her like that. The thought almost made her sad but she didn't pay much mind to it. But Salem was different and would totally take the opportunity to look. She opened the door and walked out into the hallway, before going into her office to grab a pen and paper pad and writing her cell number down on it.
Back out into the hallway... she walked up to Casper and handed him the number. "Please please please don't go getting into trouble." she pleaded with him "Call me if you decide you don't wanna be home alone anymore and I'll come back, and call me if you go outside, please." she sighed, feeling like a parent leaving their kid with the babysitter for the very first time. She looked around before pulling her hair back in a pony tail before she left. "Are you going to be ok alone?" she asked worriedly.

Home alone. Well what was he going to do then!? "Yeah I'll be fine but I have one thing to say before you go." Casper stepped right in front of Luna as if blocking her path.
"Don't mess around with that dart." Apparently Casper wasn't stupid. "You think you're doing science a favor, or the vampire community a favor but all you're doing is endangering yourself and others." He didn't want her looking into that poison. If they changed the chemistry of it they could create an explosive or even a drug only vampires were susceptible too.
Casper new the poison inside and out. He'd spent a lot of time in the lab monitoring the scientists so he knew the ins and outs of all modern and ancient hunter technology.
He just wouldn't tell Luna how it all worked.
"That's all." He said in a very authoritative tone, almost a dismissing one.
Well that was the troop leader in Casper out to play, barking orders. Habits really do die hard.

Luna waved her hand at him in a mock whatever manner as she walked towards the door. "Yeah yeah yeah." she said teasingly before turning to smile at him and bat her eyelashes. "I promise I'll be extra careful." she said with a smile "Of course, you know I don't have any idea what your talking about." she teased, completely ignoring his whole authority thing she was used to the random spurts of it by now, and darted out the door.
Yeah, she still hadn't come right out and told him she had a dart but they both knew she did. She walked down the hallways and pulled her coat tighter around her and hastened her walk just as a cold human would.

Luna made her way to Salem's house, which was actually a bit gaudy for her tastes, and knocked on the door. Which was then answered. Excetera so on and so forth. Passed all the boring stuff and down to the lab. Where the interesting stuff was!!! The only problem was, Salem really looked like crap... like... really. "You know Salem, on second thought... maybe we shouldn't mess with that thing.." she said, recalling what Casper had said, as well as how Salem looked.
"Seriously Luna? I thought you wanted to figure out what was in that thing?! And now you just want to call it off?! Luna, seriously, look at me. You call this off after I go through all this s**t?! Do you know how much this burns?!" Yeah everyone knew Salem had an anger problem, and being exposed to hunter toxins hadn't improved his disposition any....
"Alright!" she said, pulling her lab coat, a face mask goggles and gloves on. "Just stop yelling at me." maybe if he had been wearing the protective equipment he was supposed to be!!!!
"So what have you gotten so far then?" she asked curiously, picking the dart up with a pair of tongs and scraping the metal tip with a knife so she could deposit the scrapings onto a slide.

Luna hummed and nodded as she looked through the microscope while Salem rattled off what he knew about the dart, which wasn't much. Not at all. She sighed and shook her head, taking the slide out and dumping it into a container of clear liquid, which immediately turned red, then slightly purple, then what surprised her the most, it went back to clear. She frowned and looked at the glass... What the hell kind of toxins were they making these days... No wonder Salem looked the way he did... It worried her... "That is enough. One wrong move and either one of us could be dead, we need to get rid of this thing before that happens." she said firmly, hushing Salem's protests with a hand.
"I know. But I don't want you to sustain anymore damage." she said, which seemed to quiet him down a bit, knowing that she worried about him. Well, there was always other stuff to work on... she sighed and sat down at the computer, pulling up all of Salem's recent files on what he had found with the serum and some of the antitoxins they were developing for the very poisons they were trying to analyze.

Getting on his own pants wasn't difficult, if anything that was the easy part. What was hard was no visual...which meant creating one from thin air...which meant work on Casper's part.
He shut his eyes and tried to think of s**t that turned him on. First things first, big boobs. Oh, and a tiny bikini...that was too small for his imagery big breasted bimbo! She was running and, what was this? Her chest was bouncing too?
Well it was defiantly starting to work because Casper was feeling pretty good right about now.
Images would just flash through his head...but there were some pretty weird ones. Casper shrugged it off and continued to please himself, when he was bombarded by his very detailed imagination.
His big breasted woman, was screaming. He saw himself over her, biting at her neck, drinking her blood.
Casper erupted in a moan.
She struggled but he held her down and watched as her blood laced his hands, and his neck. Casper ran his tongue across his lips only to realize is fangs were out in real life too.
Just that sort of turned him on even further.
He was licking the blood off of his fingers, but he wasn't the only one there. His imaginary self looked up only to see Luna feeding off of the same human girl. She was dressed in all black, the fabric contrasting greatly with the paleness of her skin. Blood was everywhere, in her hair, around her mouth, on his mouth, on his chest. He saw a drop of blood melt down Luna's chin and elongate down her neck, to her collar bone and watched as it slowly slid down between her two breasts.
He could taste the blood, could hear the heartbeat dying in the woman's chest. He could see the blood outline Luna's lips. Could feel the warm wet liquid coat his chest and his stomach. He ripped open the girl's neck and blood exploded on him and Luna as they purred and slurped up the red.
Suddenly everything went white.
Casper awoke from his fantasy, panted for a moment and shook his head.
"What the ******** was that!?"

Luna sat down and began rapidly typind on the computer, going from the screentothe worktable next to it multiple times as she fell back into the routine of researched.
Fiddle with something on the table, see how it reacts, type it all up. Change it, then see how that reacts, type that all up. It was a tedious process but when she finally finished she was much closer than they had been before.
"I think I'm going to call it a night." she said with a nod and smiled at Salem, who was hovering over her shoulder and looking at the screen. "Really? You can't stay for a drink?"
"Hmm... Casper should be ok home alone a little longer..." she said and agreed to have a drink with him.
"You know, he seemeds to be doing pretty well."
"Yeah, he has been improving a lot." she said proudly.
"So don't you think he should be moving out of your house then?" Well straight to the point with it then huh?
"No, he isn't ready to move out yet. Someone could hurt him, or he could hurt someone else."
"Why the hell do you care so much about that stupid kid anyways?! All he is gonna do is bring you into a world of trouble."
"I don't think he would Salem, besides I can handle myself pretty well." yeah, go fluff go!!!
She took the glass from Salem, downing the contents quickly in an attempt to get out of there. Which she thought was a good idea till she was suddenly slammed with a very intense felling of libido.
Uknown to her, Salem had been researching stuff on the side, and that was the real reason he hadn't made any progress with that dart. He had figured out how to make an aphrodisiac that worked on vampires. It was more effective than a date rape drug because something that knocked someone out would wear off very quickly on a vampire. He was planning on selling it, and already he had people lined up. He just had to try it out and see how well it worked on females. And Luna was the perfect subject.

Luna blinked, shaking her head, she didn't even know what the hell she was feeling yet. Yeah, it had been that long. Her cheeks were flushed and her breathing was shaky as she looked at Salem questioningly. "Are you ok Luna?" he asked innocently. "I-- I don't-- Was that bad blood?" she asked, squirming uncomfortably in her seat.
"No, I don't think so. It doesn't taste bad.." He said, taking a sip of his and walking over to her. "I think your just overworked. Taking care of a newborn can't be easy..." he purred softly, walking behind her to rub her shoulders. To which she responded with a hum. Her nerves were on red alert, every fiber of her entire body was paying attention to the touch of the opposite sex and it was like a fire had been lit in her loins.
She moaned when Salem bent over and sucked on her neck and tilted her head to the side and connected her mouth with his, fererently kissing him.
Well, then that led to Salem shoving his hand down her shirt, which then led to more moaning and kissing. "Luna..." he whispered fondling her and her eyes snapped open in a brief moment of clarity. That wasn't the voice she wanted to hear, it wasn't who she wanted to be doing this with. She was just friends with Salem. "Salem, no.. what are you doing?" she protested breathlessly, wriggling out of his grasp. Her mind was cloudy, her moment of clarity slipping away. She had to get away, she had to get home where it was safe!!
"I have to go!" she said and bolted towards the door, nearly taking it off the hinges she fled and almost cried as she ran for her house. Why?! What was going on?!
Poor Luna walked through her door confused and horny, not even bothering to say hi to Casper she ran up to her room.

Luna heard the knock on her door and looked up as it cracked open. "No everything is not ok!! Go away!" she said in distress, not wanting to be around Casper. She felt like if she was she would like.. jump him and rape him.
Looks like someone had finally figuered out that funny feeling. What had Salem put in her drink?! Because there was no way that just randomly happened casue she was into Salem, because she wasn't and it hadn't gone away yet!!!
This was so frustrating!!
