♥ ♠ Call me Byron, that's all ♦ ♣

Byron just watched the action of the trio at the end of the bar, the whole thing didn't make much sense to him but if there is one thing he had learned it was that everything was possible in that place. He rested his cheek on his fist as he followed them with attention, a lot has changed now, he didn't want to talk to her anymore, he wouldn't let her take anything of the very few things left of his life. But then something else caught his attention, it was the sound of shattering glass on the floor, the nice black haired girl seemed to have dropped her glass at the sight of the similar looking guest, but that wasn't really what caught his attention, it was the bleeding in her finger, it struck a huge hunger in him, a strong inexplicable hunger.
He shook his head and closed his eyes as if he was chasing the idea out of his head, just to open his eyes to a weirder sight, there was a translucent being next to her picking up the glass bits. "Great, now I'm seeing things too." He exclaimed pounding his fist against the bar, causing the remains of the ice cubes in his cup to shake making that glassy noise, he'd had enough of that mess and now he wanted some answers, what has exactly happened to him before he came here?
He looked at the other patrons around, no one seemed to see that being and he wasn't really sure what he could make of it so he decided to pick up a conversation.
"Hey, nice suite you got there." He whispered making sure no one noticed him.

"That's very kind of you, Lucian. The DJ told me your name." Peeta said and pointed over to Mel and waved. Lithium woke up and reached over the distance between Peeta and Lucian, stepping gently onto his lap then curling up and sleeping again. "Lithia!" Peeta spoke in surprise but didn't shout, when the fox just opened an eye to look at her as if saying "Seriously? Can't I just sleep here?" and rested her head against the fur on Lucian's vest. Peeta's eyes trailed to look at Lucian's fur vest she found herself wondering how soft it was. "Umm, could I feel the fur on your vest? Sorry if it's such a wierd question. It-it just looks so soft." She asked almost pleadingly and bowed her head as she did so and added. "You want to go to a hotel right? After this I'll take you to one I've heard good about, but aren't you worried about running out of money eventually, people don't think about the future and end up on the streets. It would suck if you could never afford going back home. If you want I'll let you sell my flowers, I started a garden across the street, it was a overgrown and messy lot before but if you look there's a bit of a garden growing."

For all the times Daniel had come to the Haunted Music Box, for all those hours spent nursing his soul from the tender wounds left by his mother's tongue, for all the occasions he'd mistakenly noticed something... peculiar... within the bar's interior... He had never thought that the place, however magical it might be, would really be 'haunted.' Why would any down-to-earth individual think such a thing? Certainly Daniel liked to believe that there was more to the world than his human sensibilities told him. As a child, he had always been a fan of fantasy stories, from ghosts to ghouls, vampires to fairies, aliens to other worlds. Separate universes and so forth. Most of his few and far spread friends would describe him as being too 'dreamy', with a 'fantastical way of thinking.' But he'd always been very realistic, too. Rational about what needed rationalization. The world demanded it of him, after all.

Now, though, as he stared at the unmoving pile of shards glittering in the low lighting, his mind was a blank slate upon which anything could be written. He heard Lacey quietly speak to him, than mysteriously add a title that made him inclined to think that she, too, knew something strange was at hand. A ghost? An honest-to-goodness, real life, spectral, bodiless ghost? Well, maybe that was a little over the top: since he hadn't made an effort to see what was there, he couldn't very well assume the ghost was all he thought it was.

"I... I don't... um, 'kay..." Daniel whispered, directed toward Lacey, but she had already stood and wandered off with the intention of cleaning up some. His gaze followed her, wide and swimming with uncertainty. Could there really be more, here, in this place? Christoph was a mysterious person, yes, and the Music Box did feel 'alive' at times. His head shook slowly, gaze descending to the ground. Daniel froze, perplexed, when he found all the glass gone, including that small pile that had moved... seemingly on its own. "Ah... Ghosts." He murmured, slowly climbing to his feet, still shaken by this otherworldly sighting.

Perhaps he needed a drink after all: his nerves were like fire works, shooting off randomly and sizzling out all too quickly. Rattled, but not frightened - nay, he was actually starting to get excited - Daniel tapped the bar to get one of the other bartender's attention. Christoph was busy still; Daniel didn't dare glance in their direction, not wanting to spy on whatever was going on down there. It had seemed so serious before: he'd never seen Christoph looking so... furious. After a minute, he was given a simple Lemon Drop. The first sip went down without him tasting a thing; the second was slower and coolly settled in his belly.

Fingers twiddling with the leather necklace around his throat, Daniel was just settling down when, again, a shattering sound lifted him from his seat. This time, there was no one there to have dropped it. Eyes like that of the sea narrowed, well, squinted in any case, trying to pick out the nameless apparition Lacey had spoken of. If it was a ghost, oh, how he would like to meet it. Him. Her. Whomever. Why would a ghost come here? Aside from the obvious name for the establishment, Daniel was twitter-patted with curious thoughts. Just a few seats down, there was another gentleman at the bar, one with long black hair, whom seemed vaguely agitated. Was... was he muttering to himself?

"Or maybe... he can see him?" Daniel breathed, gripping his glass tighter between both hands. All around him was staggering phenomenon: the band rocking on top of the stage, the sensual decor, Christoph's visitor and now... now this possible ghost inhabitant.

It didn't really take Lacey that long to clean herself up. She did feel bad for Daniel though. After all, she left him there when he was obviously rattled. As she walked away from the bathroom, her eyes scanned the bar. Ignoring the look-alike, she rested her eyes on Daniel's back. It looked like everything was cleaned up and he already started drinking. Hopefully this situation doesn't make him drink too much.

"Hey..." Lacey spoke softly while taking the free seat next to him. She tapped her fingernails on the counter subconsciously while thinking. It would be good to talk to him about what just happened; at least regarding the ghost like incident. "Uh...sorry about that." Lacey started as she placed her hands in her lap.

The young bassist bit her lower lip for a moment. "Do you want to talk about it?" She paused a moment before speaking again. "I don't normally talk to others...about what Christoph tells me...about this place. Because...it's his business who he tells..." Basically, she meant that it wasn't her place to spread 'rumors' about the place as if it is nothing important. Of course, she might not of said that in the best way. The conversation hasn't even started and she already felt uncomfortable. There was no reason to feel like Daniel would laugh at her, considering what happened, but he did seem weirded out still. "But...I figured it would be okay to talk to you about it now...if you want. I don't understand a lot...but I could tell you what I do know. Then you can ask Christoph about whatever else...when he's not busy."

The whole time she was talking to him, her eyes were downcast; although, she would look up at him for a quick moment here and there. Most of the time, she was focused on watching herself fidget with her own fingers. "He is willing to answer anything...although, you have to ask good questions. That's what he told me anyway," she looked up to smile at Daniel. Christoph told her that but there were things he didn't actually answer before. Of course he could have just missed it, highly unlikely, or she just didn't ask in the right way.

"If you ask the right question, than I shall give the answer which you seek." Lacey spoke the phrase in a mysterious tone while she kept her gaze on Daniel's drink. "I think he should say it like that," she looked up at Daniel with a carefree smile, "it would sound cooler that way." A soft chuckle slipped between her lips as she laid one hand on the counter. "Anyway..." she started after her laughter subsided, "you can pick the topic." She scratched her jaw that was situated right under her ear. "Of course...sitting in silence is fine as well..." she added as an afterthought.

Amor Bas Lioncourt

Amor eased up to where he once again stood. Twisting against his right heel in the blink of an eye he positioned in front of the man that attempted to strike up a conversation with him. Amor leaned forward his hair brushed over his eyes. Though it was unnecessary Amor released a soft breath causing a cold air to brush onto the male’s flesh. Amor took in the male’s appearance. Something else had caught his attention however, the hunger in his expression that he had caught a mere glimpse of. Amor shook this away more concerned with the fact he could be seen by this male.

“You can see me, can’t you?”

Amor sighed with agitation as he combed the translucent fingers of his right hand through his aqua tinted hair. Narrowing his eyes to where they came to a complete close. He shifted his viola under his left arm, the bow of the viola gripped within the palm. His right palm shifted to the back of his head, as he nervously rubbed against.

“Seems hiding will be rather difficult as of now.”

Laughing to himself, Amor couldn’t help but smile at his clumsiness. Even while living he tended to be just as clumsy, it seems dieing didn’t increase his gracefulness. Even in life he was always landing flat on his face. The only time he was remotely graceful was when he played away on his precious viola.

Lucian Kliment

Lucian placed his palm over the arch of the fox’s back. The tips of his fingers brushed through her fur, a soft laugh emitted from the back of Lucian’s throat. A smile twisted into his content expression. He watched his fingers trace through the strands of snow white fur. He spoke under his breath making a comment of the fox's appearance.

"Ti takaya prelesnaya."

His eyes shifted briefly away from the fox to instead focus against the face of the female speaking to him asking about his fur coat. Smiling as he gave a simple answer, his thick Russian accent echoed towards her.

“Not much softer then your furry friend here.”

Lucian lost his focus for a moment; he acknowledged the sound of the clatter and crash of the glass. His eyes narrowed towards the unattended area. Though he had heard the words Peeta had spoken he found it difficult to respond his mind caught in the temptation of investigating the strange event.

He shook his head, tapping his index against his temple as a means to focus his thoughts.

“Forgive!”

Finally he answered the question regarding to the flower shop.

“Da, Da .. sounds good..”

It was a bit hard understanding the guy but Peeta wanted to try not just because he was cute but she also had a weakspot for helping others in tight situations, she'd always go and get food for the homeless whenever she had the chance but never got to help a foreigner. Looking longly at the fur for a moment, not noticing the glasses clattering without reason. He never gave her permission to feel the fur, shaking it off took some effort but it helped to look at Lithium and then at Peeta's own violin. "I'm glad you are willing to work at the garden. We'll talk about that later unless you'd like to now." Peeta smiled as she moved to take her violin out of the case, working on tuning it, glancing at Lucian once in a while to show she was listening still.

"Well....err... I suppose I can see you, but I just don't know how, I don't think a lot of other people do though." he whispered. The ghost's breath was somewhat cold but not as cold as it was supposed to feel, a smile showed at the corner of his mouth, he always thought ghosts where just for creepy stories and he never imagined them to be that clumsy, in fact he never imagined them to look more than a sort of blob in the air.
It suddenly struck him that he didn't have anything to say and regretted a bit having started the conversation, he wasn't good at socializing, so he drifted a little.
The pretty girl in the dark red dress was out of the bathroom and the bleeding on her finger had stopped, this gave him a weird feeling, like candy being taken away from a child, which made no sense to him, it was just a cut on a stranger's finger.
He looked back at the ghost and smiled awkwardly hoping that no one noticed the mood swing he got a the sight of blood; he couldn't explain it himself but it was getting stronger each day.
"So, do you come here often?" he asked trying to do anything to take that idea off his head.

((Sorry for the short post, something had come up.))

Christoph watched numbly as she took the ring up in her hand. He wished he could stop her, but he knew that if he tried to deny payment, the consequences would be dire for him. Yuko always said as much. He wished now that he hadn't asked Liam to attend her.

The story of Liam's dad was tragic. He knew that Liam thought his father had abandoned him. To know that it wasn't the truth must be quite a shock to the young man. Even now, Liam's cool facade was wavering, showing glimpses of anger, hurt, and other emotions that Christoph couldn't determine

"Liam, do you want to go on a break?"

(Filler post as Lithium while I'm waiting for Monochrome.)

Lithia woke up, jumping from the lap of her owner's new friend and followed the curiosity that had passed by her, an odd wavering in the air. She found herself back at the tall long haired guy's seat and in front of him was another man but see through-ish. She let out a small yip to get their attention before standing on her hind legs, walking back and forth, back and forth. Oh look at me I'm the dancing, begging fox, oh aren't I cute? How about a scrap o' food? Lithium wanted to speak, but could only think the words in english, her tongue could not form the words in any understandable way.

Lucian Kliment

Lucian pushed off his right foot lifting from his seat; his mind raced with curiosity. Lucian curled the fingers of his hand on the sleeve of his left arm. His fingers caressed down the fur as his left arm slipped out from the fabric then doing the same with his right. He leaned his leather casing for his guitar leaned in against the chair after he had removed his fur coat.

Lucian now remained in only his solid black button down shirt. The flesh of his chest barely showing from the top three buttons that remained unbuttoned. He tossed the coat over the back of the chair he once was seated as he began to walk, his right foot stepping in front of the left in a rhythmic pattern.

“Excuse for moment .. “

Inching himself closer to where the pile of shards from the second glass that had shattered remained Lucian kneeled down against his left knee, Lucian let the fingers of his right hand trace over the shards. Inhaling a soft breath his sangria optics stared intently. Shaking his head in disappointment, he placed his right palm over the glass brushing them into the pale flesh of his left. Echoes from the symphony of chains decorating him traveled in the area. His steps almost moving along with the song the band played at the time.

Lucian found himself near the simple wastebasket, he saw the earlier shards from the first shattered cup already contained within the white plastic. Brushed his left palm over his right he dropped the shards into the bin. Arching his left eyebrow in interest he shoved both his hands into the slim pockets of his jeans.

Lucian had come to a complete stand still his eyes narrowed closed as his bleach blonde hair fell over his eyes. Lucian believed in greatly of spirits demons and all things related. He was convinced there was no way possible one of the others could have possibly done this none were near the shattered cup. Yet again Lucian’s mind ran wildly, his pale icy lips pursed together as his mind went off into thought.

Amor exhaled a chilling breath his optics focused against the expression that the male gave off. A smirk came to plaster onto his own expression as he chuckled under his breath. Amor leaned forward tilting his head in a curious manner as he spoke softly.

“I don’t think you’re human.”

Amor adjusted the strands of his hair that shifted across his eyes, as he tilted his head causing the bangs to shift to his own right. Another event had caught Amor’s attention it seemed someone else knew of his presence. Another male that seemed to have cleaned up Amor’s accident involving the other cup stood completely still as if off in a deep thought.

Before Amor took his glance off the male he spotted a small white blur of fur. Animals could always see things humans couldn't so it was no surprise if the animal could see him.

Shaking his head Amor realized with all this knowledge of others knowing of his presence there was almost no point in keeping himself hidden. A fear still dwelled with Amor. His hands trembled as he bit down roughly against his bottom. He huffed an agitated breath as he slammed his palms down against the counter of the bar.

Unfortunately Amor’s hands had fallen right through the bar, his torso and all sinking through the material the same. After pulling himself up his head peeked up through the material as if he had no torso at all only his head remained in view. Thankfully this time he had avoided breaking anything.

“Such a fool!”

Amor had yet again scolded himself at his clumsy action.

"Not human? Probably, but I couldn't make out what I am now, I mean I wasn't like that all the time, well... I was human once."
Byron didn't know why he had told the ghost that, it was so unlike him, he looked at the translucent figure trying to bang his hands on the bar, then his lips curled into a crooked grin when he failed. The Russian looking boy picked up the other glass pieces and threw them. Did he just see the aqua haired ghost? maybe, or maybe he just felt his presence, it happens to some people he had heard, but he never believed them, ghosts were on the same category with vampires and other myths.

The white fox had his attention away from the whole ghost thing for a bit, he liked it a lot, but too bad he didn't have any food to give it. He got off the chair and knelt down close to it, his hair slipped down on his shoulders giving him a more vampire like figure, as reached to pet it on the back of its head, the fur was really soft and pleasant to the touch, and probably kept the little furry buddy from feeling how cold Byron's hands were. "What do we have here? I wonder if you can see him too. It's a crazy world out here." he whispered to the white fur ball, in a snake like manner, before trying to pick it up and get back to his seat.

Christoph was still over there and the matters seemed complicated with Liam and the guest, he kinda lost hope in him coming back, so he asked one of the other waiters for another drink. "Well maybe some other day he could help me" he thought as he watched the ghost and wondered how many others can see him.

"Oh no, go on ahead." Peeta replied hastily, when Lucian excused himself to leave. She sipped on her drink and nibbled on some chicken strips and fries, thinking to herself is she just wasn't the kind of people who he liked, well no matter what she promised to give him a job. Her parent's florist shop might not like the idea of paying another employee but she'll train him first and he'll pass their hiring test. She was so in thought she didn't notice Lithium wander off as well.

(Lithium filler again.)
Lithium let the guy pick her up, waving her paws around playfully in mock struggling. Her throat rumbled lightly with a purr while she stared at the ghost then at Lucian, he had left Peeta now and was looking at something, she glared at him for a moment before turning back to look at the ghost, she couldn't see him completely and put her front paws up on the table to get a better look.
