Imagination and duct tape can solve more than you give it credit for. Jake walked up to the attic, he saw the Oracle. He went up to her and asked, "I have come to recieve my prophecy for my quest."
((Excuse me while I come up with a prophecy!))

[Yes, Megs!] "I wonder what the prophecy could be about this time, lady Arianna?" Mina asked, as Mina admitted,"I'm just a guest who came by to visit, since my father is meant to bring the refugees to the camp, really!" as she goes to look at everyone else in this party!

Imagination and duct tape can solve more than you give it credit for. Jake slowly decended down the steps, thinking about what he just heard. When he got down, he said, "The Oracle said to me:
You with 3 others will travel to a place you've learned to fear
The god will know when you get near
One will be found by him and be withdrawn
Only to be found much later on
One will live through a great surprise
Another will have to help through disguise
And the last will be fatally harmed
But, there would be no reason to be alarmed
Everyone will be surprised when only 2 come return at first
But there will be no need to think the worst
This doesn't sound to good...
[Sorry it took so long! It's hard to find words that have rhymes!]

When Lizzie saw Jake she immediately rushed to him. "What did the oracle say!? Tell me please! How many are to go? What are we to do? What's going on?" Only after she said all this did she take a breath. She was winded.

Imagination and duct tape can solve more than you give it credit for. Jake's mouth was dry. Lizzie wanted to go, he could tell. But yet, he wasn't sure if HE wanted here to go. He was going to have to make a tough choice. He could only take 3 others with him. Who was going chose to go? Who was going to be left behind?

Alex was watching Lizzie and Jake. Alex knew if he were Jake, he probably wouldn't take Lizzie. She wasn't claimed by a parent so in times of need who could she turn to? I'd take only one Posiedon, Morpheus's offspring, and an Apollo, not necessarily himself, but someone like him, or maybe an Athena, that could work too. That way they'd have attack, defense, strategy/prophecy. A power team. Lots of diversity.

Imagination and duct tape can solve more than you give it credit for. Jake felt a sudden urge to take Lizzie. Maybe that's what the 'surprise' in the prophecy meant! Lizzie getting claimed! Of course, Alex should come, he seemed like a good guy. One spot left...who else should come?

Lizzie could see Jake thinking. She had to do something, this was her chance to get out and find her parent...

Lizzie was thinking. This was bad, Alex had to get her out of here before she did something stupid. "Hey Liz I think I left something in the Hermes Cabin, can you come with me to get it?"

"Alex you're not a little kid anymore, you can do it by yourself."

"Lizzie I need you there," Alex said through gritted teeth as he pulled her out of the room. "We need to talk."
Once out of the house, Alex pulled Lizzie aside, "Listen Lizzie, I know you want to go, but you aren't claimed, what if something should happen, who are you going to pray to? Please Lizzie, I am begging you don't try to go, you .... you...."

"What? I'm a liability? I'm useless? Is that what you are saying? You know what, I am going to get claimed one of these days, and when I am I hope it's by an Olympian who hates your dad! Go away Alex, just go away!"
With that, Lizzie spun away back to the Big House and her only real friends.

(Can I come? I've always wanted a quest.)
Nika watched as Jake came out of the attic. She was sitting in the corner, sippping on a coke and watching the proceadings. She despretly wanted to come, but it seemed unlikely. She wasn't close friends with anyone in the room, plus she was a child of a minor god. She sunk back further into her corner. She fantisised about going for a minute, then snapped back to reality. Not a chance, she scolded herself.

Mina said, as she has no intention of allowing another friend to die off in a quest, not after what happened to Silena, her half-sister, as Mina said,"I'm disgusted with the idea of anyone else who's family dying on me!" Mina said, as she was admitting,"Where you go today, Arianna, i will follow, i owe Percy that much, at least!" as Mina was serious about her words to Arianna!

"Jake, I want to come because I could be a good asset, I can heal people with water and I've never been on a quest before, it would also keep me from torturing Percy and Annabeth, can I please come?" Arianna said, she really wanted to go and she was right she would be a good asset to the quest, she knew that they would need someone with water powers.

Kattie watched as Lizzie and Alex left the cabin. She was still standing outside of it. She had left after she heard the prophecy for the quest. What could it mean? Who would get to go? Who's going to stay. She saw Jake had those same questions on his mind when she entered.
...
Jake was still thinking about the person he was taking along. Should the Morpheus child go? Or should he choose someone more powerful, like a child of Posiedon? Should and Athena go? What would be the point of the last one? The prophecy could be figured out by anyone, as we go along. Okay, an Athena child was out. Now, who would work well with Alex and Lizzie? Would a Posiedon work better? Or the Morpheus? Jake tried to pull his hair out. This was too much! He's only JUST got here! How can he have a quest already!? When he barely knows anyone, how is he supposed to choose who goes with him!? He wanted to scream out. But, he refrained. It would startle to many people. Who could he choose!? Percy was out, he's been on quests before. Probably too many. Tyson would just be a nuisance, so that was out. Annabeth wouldn't want to go without Percy, so she wasn't going. The only people he knew now, that he could stand them going, was:
Kattie - recently claimed, would want to go on a quest
Arianna - she had experence with her powers, she would be a real help
and the Morpheus - he didn't know her too well, but she could be useful
Choices, choices...

...
Jake sighed. "Yeah, I should probably sleep," he agreed. "I'll see you guys tomarrow," Jake said, and with that he left to his cabin.
