"What's that?" Kay blinked, picking up on the clash of large things when Banes took a 180 to a serious police mode. Thankful for the change to say the least as hers took a quite opposite direction, the vixen nodded her head and followed quietly. Pausing for only a moment as he peered out from the treeline, as she was beckoned over her head ducked till she was beside him....seeing what was causing such a commotion.
Needless to say, her eyes widened with unimaginable surprise.
"Holy....hell...." She breathed in barely a whisper, watching in awe as the titans clashed and raged. Certainly that was a fight she didn't even want to near, but she couldn't help but suddenly second his bad feeling gesture earlier. "Shadow's going to win....right?" Truth be told she was hoping the presence of the other beast would keep the monster at bay and out in the sea....but of course nothing could be easy. "What are we going to do now..?" She asked quietly, looking to Banes with a concerned expression...not quite sure if she should be feeling terrified, in awe or concerned for Shadow's well being.

Watching as both of the brutes were in basically a slap fight, he watched with focus, trying to read one combatant's moves, and looking around the area, already noticing the two probably have decimated the crime scene.
"I don't know. He's usually an ambush type as most assassins are. With him called out in the open, it just matter on how good the other thing is. Looks like an even fight right now. "he whispered in a serious voice, not at all taking his eyes off the fight. He needed to be ready for when the two started ramming each other his way. Both were big, and he knew Shadow was heavy, so odds are it would have hurt to get underneath either of the 2.
"Well I don't know..We won't be doing any more crime scene stuff, I can tell you that." he explained as he carefully pulled out his forensics camera and made sure the flash was off before snapping pictures of the fight. If he couldn't get his crime scene photos then he would get the next best thing

"Assassin..." She echoed, look on to the battle at hand, noticing as well it seemed to be pretty on par for the pair. It still worried her, then again she was never one for watching fights....although this one was much different than any she had glimpsed at before.
Looking out past the pair, she could see what was left of the crime scene; feeling her face fall. "I can see that...." Great....was this how investigations went cold? "Well....there has to be something....are we just going to leave him to duke it out alone?" Kay was well aware there was little either of them could do to harm the beast, especially since it was wearing some kind of armor of its own.
Watching the fight closely like Banes seemed to do, she let out a small sigh and fidgeted with her shirt's hem. "Its such a helpless feeling, sitting here."

He took a few pictures, and a few more until he felt he had a good case. "With these and the pictures of the medabot and all the scratches, I'm sure the AI can try to do something." he mumbled to himself, quickly and carefully putting away the camera and taking a moment to rub his chin in thought.
Her comment made him finally take his eyes off the battle. " Would you want to jump into that?" he said pointing his thumb at the beast, which at the moment, Shadow had struck the offender with that dangerous tail and he could tell it went well past the armor. "Hmm...Maybe Shadow will have the upper hand now. That blade is tipped with poison that could put a whale belly up in seconds." he nodded. His tone was still serious, but the one thing he knew was to never call a fight done until someone is in handcuffs, or is dead.
"He has the upper hand for the time being...." he commented. He was mostly thinking outloud, as he was good at doing for things like this

"That's good..." At least something might happen, finally tearing her eyes away from the battle she felt a shiver run down her spine. Given she was glad it wasn't turning out like those horror slasher or gore films, it still made her uneasy. Hopefully no one else would fall victim to the monster than those who had, wondering briefly a few things till she knew she needed to stop.
Giving him a sideways glance, she shook her head slowly. "No....it would be a swift death..." She muttered, adverting her eyes back to the ground by her feet. She was happy for his narrating his viewpoints on the fight, at least she could then understand without needed to watch as her heart had already begun to beat a little more quickly than normal. Come on Shadow....win and send that thing back to the sea. She thought and curled her tail around her hips to keep her nerves in check.

He shook his head and only remembered that Kay was just a civilian. Things like this were probably upsetting..at least more so to him. He'd seen the worse in society before, and something like this only just reminded him how missed that worse.
He watched as the scorpion positioned tail of Shadow soon disappeared as he soon did. There was a small wisp of sand and then a thud near by, all the while the beast shrieking and wobbling a bit. "Poison seems to be working..but where did Shadow go?" he mumbled again, trying to figure out what happened to the Cybertronian.
He didn't get an answer, but soon the blue monster collapsed, seemingly motionless. "I think...it's dead.." he said as he braved to peek his head out just a bit

"What?" Looking up from the ground, she watches as Banes poked his head out of the bush. Standing just so her head poked up past the bush she could see the motionless form of the monster, as well that Shadow was no where in sight. Was that really it? I wasn't expecting such quite results... She thought momentarily before standing against a nearby tree to remain partially out of sight.
"Well....I might be wrong but something tells me we might have to go investigate that thing now, huh?" Not that she was a forensic specialist or anything, but if it was in fact dead samples would probably be needed to figure out what exactly it was.
She wondered if in fact it was really dead...but if Shadow felt it safe enough to walk away, then it had to be...right? "Maybe we should see....throw a rock or something..." Scratching her head lightly, she looked to see what Banes was thinking.

He looked over to see her move up, and had to double take. "Get your a** back down here. We don't know if that thing is dead or not!" he scolded, nearly reaching for her arm to yank her down if he knew it wouldn't risk him being seen.
His gaze snapped back over as he felt the hair on the back of his neck stand. Something wasn't right. "No...We leave it alone...I have a feeling it's not dead...not yet at least." he said biting his lower lip and staring at the lifeless body, preparing to bolt if necessary.
And he was glad he didn't. Only have after laying there for a few silent minutes, the body began to glow before exploding violently. Banes fell back from the aftershock instinctively protecting his head. Just as silence fell again, he slowly managed to get up, to see the area where the beast was had now been filled for dazzling blue sparks that drifted aimlessly for a few minutes, before then darting off towards the ocean and disappearing out of sight.

"Sitting or standing it can't see me!" She hissed out in a hushed voice, making sure the tree was mostly if not complete out of view; it was really no better than him sticking his head out of the bush. Eying the beast with a glance from behind the tree, she had to admit the thing looked pretty dead to her; but she wasn't about to go test her theory. "I thought you said that poison could kill a whale, and I'm sure there are whales bigger than that.
Looking back behind the pair, it wasn't until a glow illuminated the trees that the vixen realized what was up. Luckily she hadn't the time to turn and look when the explosion took place and knocked Banes back to the ground, causing her to yelp and make sure her body was well behind the tree as the shock wave shook the tree trunk. With heart pounding painfully in her ears, it wasn't until she heard his astonished statement that she looked back just in time to see the glowing sparks take off into the sea and a body no where to be found.
"N-n-no way...." She breathed, feeling safe enough to come out from behind the tree and stand beside the bushes....did it just....vanish?

He rolled his eyes and shook his head as he ducked down a little bit. "I may have exaggerated, but that poison is strong stuff. It's meant to take down a full grown Cybertronian." he explained, suddenly realizing he never knew what exactly that meant. But he figured now was not the time to ask.
He looked from where the body was to where the sparks had disappeared. Baffled, he stumbled forward to peer out from the bushes' branches. He knew he was risking his neck, but nothing ventured nothing gained. "But...how?" he muttered in awe.
On the clifftops, Banes, spotted something stuck to the rock wall like a giant spider. It soon moved down, revealing the thing to be none other than Shadow. Even the Cybertronian looked perplexed as he sniffed the ground where the beast lay and where it had disappeared to. Before Banes could say anything, the mechanical killer made a dash towards the ocean, soon leaping in and swimming after the sparks.

With a rueful smirk, the vixen figured he might have been mislead or didn't realize all the information given to him, but that was not really important now so she promptly let it slide. It was turning out to be a stranger day than the last, especially now that the monster was come kind of Houdini to boot. Something that could essentially explode and move around was never good....it only made her wonder if it could get into the thick forests like that in the night.
Before she could utter anything, Shadow reappeared to the scene; to sniff the shifted sand where the corpse had laid only to break into a run into the sea. Coming out from behind the tree finally as if Shadow headed to the sea she was sure that's where the monster had gone to as well. Concluding it was now relatively safe on the shore.
"Okay, what the HELL is going on. This is like some....some....acid trip movie!" She threw her arms up in emphasis, usually she had a good grasp on fiction and supernatural things in nature....but this was just too much.

Pulling himself up from the grass and stepping cautiously onto the sand, peering around a bend of trees to see if anything is coming. He saw no such thing and ventured further onto the beach, glancing over to the ocean every now and then.
He was completely speechless as to what he just saw, and the dazed look, followed by the standing on the beach with one paw rubbing his chin and the other folded around his torso, supporting it's opposite, it was obvious he had not the slightest as to what to say or think.
Even as Kay burst out into her thoughts of having an acid trip, he just stood there, slowly turning his head towards her, finally thinking of something to say. "I haven't the foggiest........"

Reaching over a paw the vixen decided to pinch herself to see if she was really just very tired and dreaming; but as things failed to change after the moment of pain in her arm she figured she was in fact awake. It was just unbelievable, nearly as mind blowing that living creatures could come out of bowls of noodles.
This place is seriously messed up. Makes wonderland look like disneyland.
None the less, things didn't seem to tip down the weird scale, and walking over to his side she put her hands on her hips. If logic couldn't happen naturally she might as well give it a shove in the right direction.
"Well....we have not a hope in hell of going out there....maybe we should check out what's...." She looked over at the fallen rock and debris of what used to be the rock ledge. "...left of the scene. Maybe something was thrown up from the commotion?"

The train of thought, which was derailed, but now nicely put back on the tracks, starting to chug away after the moment of dumbfounded stupor. He looked to Kay, then over to the rocks. "Yes...that would be a good idea" he finally said, turning without hesitation and walking towards the small rock cliff.
He waited for a moment for Kay to catch up. While she did, he thought of how weird it must have been for him to just write off possibly the strangest thing anyone had ever seen. It looked weird to him, lord knows what it was to her, but until he had answers, there was little he could say or do about the monsters disappearing out to sea.
When she had approached, he climbed the rocks, pausing to look over the battered terrain, but soon turning back to help his companion up. "Not much left, but we can still look." he remarked

Answers would have been a lifesaver, but from the dumbfounded look of Banes she knew that might not happen for a while. None the less she was a bit grateful it wasn't just her in a sanity c**k block by what she'd seen, as Banes was hit just as bad. "Agreed." She chimed, following him across the beach to the wreckage of what was the crime scene.
Luckily the commotion had let a few rocks slip and thus it was much easier to climb; but none the less she did take his paw with hers to get the aide. Once on top she looked around, drastically having changed since the day before. A glance to the rock which she had sat prior gave her the chills, realizing now just how close she really was to falling prey to that thing if it wasn't for the medabot.
It gave one a new sense to appreciate things a hellavu lot more, anyways.
"Look might be all we can do..." She commented with a weary smile and began to walk forward along the rock shelf, scanning the ground for any kinds of clues or strange things. Occasionally looking out to see just in case, since she wasn't going to make the same mistake twice.
