User ImageUser Image A young woman stood looking at the ranch, with a furret by her side. "Well, it looks like we still have some time before everyone leaves," she said to the furret. Though she would have been happier if she had arrive earlier, but that was life. "Come on Eldur." With that said she went to enter the main building where she need to check in.

After she talked to Bill, the ranch owner, she was able to find out that she was in the green group and will be using a ponyta during the trip. She found a dried place from the rain, before letting out the ponyta. "Im Kaskia," she told the ponyta, petting her. "And this is Eldur. Nice to meet you."

Anima giggled as the Ponyta sniffed her torso. "Yay! I hope you can. It'd be so lonely if you couldn't." She pouted, then looked around nervously. "There's so many people here..." Not that Anima was afraid of crowds...she just didn't know anyone except Kurai! THAT was the problem.

Meeka turned the other way again. Familiar face! Holy crapola, was she winning in the social and not-being-a-lamppost department. She waved a hand at Opal while she shifted to prevent the cooing Pikachu from falling off its perch.

"Heeeey Opal!" she called. "Didn't know you were going to be here!" Her eyes also caught to Kiru's daughter with her too. "Taking good care of Ursalyn, I hope?"

Kiru was safely inside his pokeball by the time Opal reached, hardly even knowing his daughter was actually within his company. He did not show it (he is sleeping three-fourth's of the day), but he really wanted to see his daughter. Plus, even Poji was worried. Aha.

Meeka smiled. New face! New faces were just lovely. New faces were new people . . . and new people were great when a breeder was just standing around trying not to look like a lamppost.

Following that smile with a nod, Meeka patted the Pidgeot to which it cocked its head at Rhia. "Yeppers! I am taking Avella here! What about you, do you have a buddy to ride on or are you taking that loser's . . . I mean, one of Bill's ranch Pokemon?"

Turning to the other way, there was another face. Another mew face to add at that - she was really good at this game. Terri also seemed to like this girl . . . her ears flicked up come her appearance and the yellow mouse Pokemon smiled brightly. "Chaauuuu!" it squeaked, ever happy. Me, oh, my. "I'm Meeka!" she introduced to the both of them. "Nice to meet you both!"

Rhia laughed slightly. "I'm taking one of the rented. Aimee would never be able to hold my weight."

"I'm Rhia, it's nice to meet you too." She cast a quick smile at Zen and then turned with surprise to face as Meeka's name was shouted in their direction. Another person? And it looked like they had their own ride too. Rhia was starting to feel a little awkward about apparently being the only one without her own ride. Oh well. She was new, and besides, she loved Aimee to pieces. She didn't need some big new Pokemon.

"Don't worry, Anima. You'll be fine." Kurai dug through her pack and held a small pouch out to her friend. "Some of Hissy Cow's sugar cubes. Should be useful in helping keep the Ponyta happy."

Hissy Cow looked at the pouch, then back to her trainer in disbelief. Those were HERS! NOT COOL! Of course...she couldn't grab for them without Kurai falling off, and that would be BAD.

User ImageLisa smiled. "Well, I suppose it's good you have a quieter pokemon if you're a bit nervous. Don't worry, though, there are lots of very skilled trainers about. I'm certain they'll help you if you have any troubles." Lisa caught sight of the clock. "It seems like it's almost time to depart. I'm going to go out and mount my ponyta. See you outside, then!" Lisa stepped out, rolling her eyes as she saw Bandit snitch a few snacks. "You glutton," she remarked as she went over to Sleipnir, mounting the Ponyta for the third time that day.

Heading out!

The rain clouds have cleared away and the sun is once again shining down on Katarina. The road may be a little muddy, but definitely traversable. It's time to head out!

@Groupless people:
You get ready to head off with your pokemon. Perhaps you take this time to sneak into a group with a friend or perhaps you use it to get a head start and scout ahead.

@Express people:
You gather with your group and slowly start down the road. Out in front is the Red group, followed closely by the Violet group. The green group is the last to leave.

Having collected all the necessary supplies for the adventure ahead, the breeder tucked them away into his satchel. Slipping out of the shop, he glanced down at his Absol, with a crooked smile.
"Guess we're set.." he mumbled, metal boots clinking heavily.

Stepping out into the street, he looked up at the sky. He wanted to let the Ponyta out for a nice stretch, but he wouldn't dare risk it being uncomfortable. That was just selfish. Glancing down at his Absol, who was also looking to the sky, the breeder grinned. Maybe if he went to a more dry area the Ponyta could stretch out it's legs. Glancing around, the golden eyed man looked to the stable.
...There were a lot of people there...
But, it wasn't as if someone would make conversation with him anyway. Expecially with his distant front that he wore. Hesitently, he started for the stable, his Absol following at his heels.

Anima took the pouch happily. "Thank you!" She looked to the Ponyta, pulling a sugar cube out. "Here you go!" The Ponyta looked to the Milktank of the other trainer...then nodded and took the sugar cube. Anima blinked and grinned.

"Time to go!" She happily got on the Ponyta's back and started towards her group. "Need a nickname for you, since Mister Bill didn't give me one...how's 'Po' sound?" The Ponyta gave her an odd look...but seemed to not mind the 'name'.

Flint notices that the rain has stopped and grins " well, looks like its time to get out of here! lets go meet the rest of our group" he says addressing the Tauros, they walks aide by side to where the group is supposed to meet

Rhia glanced up as the rain slowed, and then stopped entirely.

"Oh, good! It's finally clearing up!"

The caravans should be ready to go soon then. ... Oh, they'd go off on their own now, and she had to find her group. The boy from earlier seemed to be missing from sight, and she hadn't checked the legs of any other caravan-goers to see who was with her. She'd have to jump on that so they could group and be ready to leave.

"I guess I should go find some members of my caravan group..." She smiled brightly anyway, although she was a bit disappointed that she had to separate from her new acquaintances so soon. "I guess I'll see you all in Moterossa! Have a good trip!"

User ImageLisa was about to head over to the red group when she sighted a familiar face. "Meeka!" she yelled as she trotted over to the young breeder, "It's been a while! I'm sorry I can't stay and chat right now, but maybe we'll see each other later!" With a quick nudge, Lisa urged Sleipnir over to the red group, who was heading out. Lisa wanted to stay in the middle of the group, but the proud Sleip wouldn't have it. He trotted up to the front of the group, swishing his flaming tail about. Bandit squeaked in disappointment. You couldn't be sneaking out in front, after all.

User ImageLumina looked upwards towards the sky, pleased that the blanket of clouds finally decided to let up. She followed the congregation of red-scarved pokemon, grinning over at her fellow would-be pokemon catchers. "Guess it's time to set out then."

Blue eyes scanned the rest of the gathering members, nodding to each in greeting, "Pretty exciting. How long do you think it'll take?" Lumina asked the first person she turned to.

Robin nodded attentively as Anise told him about birch bark, absently fighting with his hair for a few more moments before finally giving up, leaving the stray hairs to hang in midair an inch from their fellows.

"Are most plants edible," he asked his impromptu teacher, "or are there a lot that should be steered clear of, poisonous ones and so forth?"

User Image "There's a mix of poisonous, edible, and mostly harmless plants." She started to explain more when Bill stood up and called, out, "Hey everyone, the rain's stopped! It looks like you could get in some good riding before night, so you can head on out, now! Red group should head out first, then purple, and green last."

"I guess that's our cue to get to our mounts," Anise said. She finished off the food she was eating and whistled for Felix. As the Delcatty perked up his ears and trotted over, she said. "I'm in the purple group, so I suppose I don't have to rush yet. How about you?"
