((Yes Magda is going to have neighbors. I think she will definitely be having a floor warming party when she returns from the mall. That antisocial one better LOOK OUT because there will be summery rum drinks such as daiquiris.))
Toussaint kicked around her new apartment, investigating every corner and the contents. The furniture, she decided, could stay, mainly because she hadn't the funds to replace it. But she began rearranging almost immediately. Anything that wasn't nailed to the floor was moved to better suit her tastes. Toussaint shoved small dining table against the wall at the end of the kitchen and pulled the fourth chair out onto the balcony. "Je dois acheter un lawnchair," she muttered as she dusted off her hands and leaned over the railing, admiring mostly the balcony, although the view was nice. She felt invigorated by the fresh air and went back inside to finish her task. There was a tall, heavy bookshelf pushed back into corner of the living room and Toussaint wanted it next to the front door. With a lot of huffing, pushing, cursing, and sweat, she inched it slowly across the carpet. "Euuuuuh j'suis fini. Un pot, un pot!" she rasped jokingly to her apartment, before remembering that she wanted to practice speaking English all the time. Anyway, there was nothing in the apartment but some glasses of dubious origin and tap water, so Toussaint grabbed her wallet out of her purse, shoved it in her back pocket, and headed to the store. After all, she promised Bianca breakfast, and she might as well knock that errand out of the way before nightfall.

Tristian blushed at Yoshiko's question, shifting in slight discomfort and shrugging a slender shoulder. I'm not sure...I told him I had a lot of siblings, but I'm not sure he quite realizes there're so many. He paused a moment to laugh, a rather silent laugh, and shake his head. I don't think my momma feels anything, though. Half the time I don't think anyone but she knows she's carrying. My sister says that pregnancies within the family last anywhere from fifteen minutes to a week, depending on how the mother is taking care of herself. He paused again to nod some, sort of blushing as he thought about his family.

"I'd love to see his reaction when he finds out." She laughed softly. "A fifteen minute pregnancy? That's... very strange, but I suppose very convenient." She got up and stretched, turning on several lights before returnig to her chair. "I still can't imagine having that many siblings. A treasure trove of family and friends."

Tristian let out a small laugh and nodded to Yoshiko. It's nice, sometimes...because I always have someone to talk to at home. But other times, it's sort of depressing - For a long time I didn't know my real father, and when I found out that I wasn't who I thought I was, it sort of made sense as to why this man would push me away all the time. He took a deep breath and averted his eyes a moment before looking back to the girl with a smile.

"Ah." Yoshiko offered him a small smile and a consoling pat. "I wish I had more people to talk to. Sometimes I end up talking to my stuffed animals, and they're no good at advice." The distant father. I know that one...

Well then in that case, all they need is a good animation charm and they make good friends! Tristian piped, blushing as he realized that probably sounded psychotic. He bit his lip and averted his gaze again, a nervous laugh in his voice. That's what I did sometimes...Brought my toys to life when I needed someone to keep me company....

Yoshiko cocked her head at the blushing blonde, intrigued. "You're just full of surprises, Tris-kun." She pulled one of her ever-present charms, a small blue cat, out of her purse and toyed with it a bit before placing it on the table. "I can't do anything of that sort- closest i get to magic is my designing..." She perked up, struck by an idea. "And see, now we know a bit more about eachother." She picked up the charm and offered it to Tristan. "I've had this one for quite some time, and he needs to make some changes in his life, too. would you like to adopt him?"

Tristian looked to Yoshiko with wide eyes. A gift? His heart sort of melted and he smiled brightly, shifting to accept the charm. Thank you, Yoshiko...he said softly, still rather beaming as he examined it.

Yoshiko smiled enthusiastically at the expression on the boy's face. "You're quite welcome, Tris-kun." He acts as if he expects no kindness at all...Well, he's one of my friends now, and therefore i'll give him as much kindness as i can. She noded once, just a little confirmation and looked at the charm in Tristian's hands. "Yes, i think you'll give him a good home."

Tristian smiled brightly still, holdign the charm in his hand a moment longer before glancing down, opning his hand to a flat, sort of nodding to the charm as though telling it that it was okay for it to move. The small blue cat charm seemed to shiver a moment before it's thin tail curled around it's little body, sitting in Tristian's hand before raising a little paw to groom itself. Tristian laughed and looked to Yoshiko, holding his hand out, the temporarily animated charm sort of clinging to his hand as it moved before relaxing again and returning to it's grooming. I think you're very kind...And I think I can try to give him the best home I know how to give.

Yoshiko giggled and clapped in pure delight, reaching out to stroke it with a single finger. "Yes, a very good home indeed! That's wonderful, Tris, just wonderful. I knew this apartment building was the right choice! Are you going to name him? I could never come up with anything better than 'Aoi-Neko'." She settled into her chair, thoroughly enthralled.

He nodded as he handed her the clipboard Daire had used, loaded with a new set of paperwork, and rattled off a generic, bored description of the apartment. They were all the same, he commented, so that if se decided the one she had wasn't to her liking, another wouldn't be much better. He was in a sour mood from suddenly being placed at a desk job, and longed to have a moment to settle as well as he was settling his tenants. But, he supposed, maybe if it stayed this busy, the rent would start coming in more quickly, and they could afford to go out and have some fun.

Tristian smiled brightly as he watched the little kitty, letting it play a moment longer before shfiting to set it on the coffeetable, watching it, as if trying to find a fitting name. I'll prolly name him within a few days, once I get a name that fits it's little personality...he laughed, looking to her again. His cheeks were faintly pink still, and hs shfited to sit crosslegged infront of her on the other side of the coffeetable. I'm glad you think the apartment building was a good place to stay - And I'm glad I came here, too.

Lucius slipped back into the front door, closing it behind him with a weary sigh. The sin was out, and he'd had to keep his hood up the whole way to keep his skin from burnin. But his eyes hurt from the bright sunlight, adn he now had a pounding headache. He closed the complex door behind him and leaned on it, shaking the hood down and unzipping the jacket, letting the cool air of the building cool him off a little. IT was a warm day, and the safety measure had been massively uncomfortable.

"Be sure to tell me what you named him, okay? And if you or your Lucius ever want to visit, just come up and knock. My friends are always welcome." She paused, and seemed to be tallying something up in her head. "And I hope I have more in the way of refreshments and entertainment next time." she stated, taking it for granted that there would be a next time. "There just seems to be a sort of good feeling to this place, i've met all sorts of lovely people." Yoshiko was completely at her ease, her normal fluttery personality completely asserting itself. She glanced at her watch. "Oh, my, we've been talking for quite some time... Do you know what your lucius left to do, by the way?"
