"No problem!" Veran called out as he was already getting up to retrieve some flasks. He returned with two separate flasks full of whiskey and handed one to Diablo before sitting back down. "Nothing like a flask of liquor on a day like this."

Maria nodded at Namid "yeah lets go, and hope we get good jobs." she said as she walked towards where the bridge was.

(( I need to ask Tmnt_fangurl, did we leave the office? and isn't that suppose to be Loqua, Styk_Figure?))
After being shown the stuck lever, he began taking a look at it. He first pulled out a small pocket knife that had very dull blades on it. He pulled out the screwdrive part on the knife and began taking off the screws on the panel. While he was taking off the screws, Jak asked him a question. Juslo answered to the best of his ability, "How much do I know? I know enough to be able to get life boats to start hovering; enough to take an old rusty engine, take off most of the rust, change out the parts that would fall apart, put oil on the rest of the parts, and keep it in tiptop shape; and to rewire an entire fishing ship in less than a day." As he paused on the answer, he took off the panel and saw that the lever was jammed by a piece of shredded metal stuck between the springs and the hinges holding the lever in place. "Oooo, now that's a real jam. I would probably need tip-nose pliers for that one....... You wouldn't happen to have a spare on hand, would ya?"

Namid smiled, "I hope we do too. I can't really say that I have much of any skills to offer yet. But at least we are able to help out somehow." She walked beside Maria as they headed to the bridge.

After finally reaching the deck after climbing down from the crows nest, Imogen stood facing the horizon. With a sigh she stood completely still, her cane in front of her holding her weight.
The sun baked her red hair as she stood like a statue, seemingly unaware of the goings on of the ship.
"As I thought, not all that more interesting down here," she sighed to herself.

waffle person "No problem!" Veran called out as he was already getting up to retrieve some flasks. He returned with two separate flasks full of whiskey and handed one to Diablo before sitting back down. "Nothing like a flask of liquor on a day like this." "Here, here," El Diablo Loco said, clanking his flask against Veran's and then saying "Salud." before he took a drink. Then after taking a drink he sat back and then sighed. He was glad to finally be relaxing, since that entire month the crew has been working over-time to get the ship to where it needed to be, and after their latest quarrel, Diablo definately needed a break.

((Jak doesn't have an office. She was in a corner of the engine room repairing dented side panels.))
Jak looked at the inside workings of the panel, "On hand? No. There are some in the tool box though." She stood back giving him space and pointed to a tool box on a small stand in the corner. She had at least three tool boxes in random areas in the engine room and couldn't count how many tools they all held together. New towns + shiney new tool stores + Jak's sticky fingers = a girl having more tools then she would probably ever need. "Since you know what you're doing I'll leave you too it. If you need help I won't be too far away."

El Diablo Loco took another drink from his flask and shivered, "THAT is some amazing stuff! Where did you get it?" Diablo asked, "It's amazing!" Not too far away Diablo could see Imogen had climbed down from the Crow's nest, but he assumed she was busy so he didn't call out to her. Diablo stayed sitting in his spot; his black sleeveless shirt absorbing the sunlight, he let out an 'Mmmm' and relaxed even more. "Great alcohol and perfect sunlight. Nothing could possibly go wrong!"

"Thankyou, I will be sure to call you if I need you or I am ready to do the next thing." Juslo said to Jak. He got up and walked over to one of the toolboxes and pulled out needle-nosed pliers and walked back.

"Oh, I have connections. There's a few merchants I know all too well." Veran said back, modestly smiling. Then he nudged Diablo. "But yeah, you know what would be even better than whiskey and sun? Getting the whole crew together for one night and throwing a massive party 'till the sun comes up."
"I bet the sun would want to join in too." he joked.

"I didn't catch that." The lofty remark floated down over to Veran and Diablo with the cool breeze. Imogen, cane relaxed at her side, approached the two with an uninterested elegance.
With a slow halt she looked straight ahead, seemly right over them. With a distinguished exhale she raised her chin slightly up.
"Is it 5'o clock already?"

Veran sat upright when she came around. "You're asking me what time it is, Imogen?" he asked back.
"Hell if I know." he said, laying back down. "The sun's starting to creep down, though."

Jak watched him for a moment before walking away. She walked around the engine room checking the side panels to see if she had gotten all the dented and broken ones. Once she was satisfied she went to the spare parts room to see how bad the mess was. Once she opened the door she hung her head and groaned. It was a disaster. Pieces of metal, and different odds and ends where all over the floor. Nothing was in the right spot. "How does it get like this?!" she said out loud. 'One person can't do all this alone. It will have to wait until Juslo is finished,' she thought as she closed the door. She leaned against the opposite wall and slid down onto the floor where she sat with her knees bent up to her chest. "I need a break...or a nap," she said to herself. Turning her head she stared down the empty hall, 'Come to think of it when was the last time I just relaxed and had fun?'

Juslo slowly but surely ended up pulling that piece of metal out of the lever's clutches. (Figure of speech) "Well, I pulled that out in a jiffy." He checked to see if the lever moved freely and it moved as it should. He put the panel back on and stood up. Juslo started searching for Jak because he didn't know where she went. 'I wonder if I should check down the hall at the spare parts room,' he thought to himself.
