Misha and Maya finally made their way through the crowd of the other kids until they saw Michael."He's so cute!" they shouted together and picked him up to pet him.Kai made his way out and with a slightly defeated sigh did what he always did when the kids got like this.He made a long bounding flip over them into the middle of the group."Calm down everyone!" he called over them, causing all the kids to look up at last.He motioned to Misha and Maya and they put Mihael back down and apologized to him."These two are Michael," he motioned to Michael "and Fiore." he motioned to Fiore."They're the ones who gave me the money that I've got to feed us with for now." he told them all and, for kids growing up on the streets, they thanked both of their new friends for being so kind."I have a request for you two.He turned as he signalled the five older boys to come stand with him."Can you help us find real jobs so we can have a real place to live.I'd like these kids to have a real home someday and possibly have real families as well." Kaho walked up beside Kai and gently kissed his cheek."Kaho, please don't do that in front of our new friends." he'd called them friends, e didn't even mean to say it.Now that he thought about ti thtough, he was actually comfortable with calling them friends, he felt like he could trust them, there weren't many that he felt that way about so soon.

Micheal finally returned to his full human form fixing his hair, enouph being picked up for today. He gave Kai a nod, " Sure...But supporting all them on your own you'll need alot of help. Even if you all work 'round the clock... You have to find another way to make more money." He thought for amoment tring to find away, there was the obvious solution of asking his parents for help but he was unsure of how they would react even if they were kind people. "Fundraiser?" He half mumbled to himself.

"A what?" Kai mumbled when he heard Michael mumbling to himself.He'd clearly heard 'fundraiser' but since he'd never been to school he didn't know what that was.He only knew how to read and write because the gang members had taught him when he was growing up."Michael, most of us never went to school and only know what we do because we had people who cared enough to teach us what they could.I'm the only one of us that can really read and write well enough to get a good job, even if I could get one." he seemed to be remembering something when he spoke and his eys flashed a pale blue.

"A fundraiser some little event to get money." Hearing that none of them had gone to school Micheal glanced down, that certainly was a setback."Well...School would be the first thing but there might be a problem with a guardian, you might seem young for so many kids..." Micheal trailed off feeling he had said it wrong. He looked at his eye slightly confused seeing they had changed for a moment. "You alright?"

"I'm fine, just rememering the man who taught me.He was the gangs old leader.He chose for me to take his place when he died.I want our gang to be one that people respect, not fear.That was what he worked for.I wanna follow in his footsteps.I'm plenty old enough to be these kids gaurdians, but there is one who's older than me." he blushed a bit as he motioned for one of his group to stepp foreward.It was Kaho."This is Kaho, he's my second in command and he's twenty three." Kaho blushed now that so many knew how old he really was.He was small for his age and actually looked like he was sixteen."Do you think that maybe he could help with that problem?" he asked Michael.Kaho gave him his best 'i'll try hard' look and softly kissed his cheek."Cut it out Kaho." Kai seemed like he didn't want people thinking they were together.They weren't officially and he didn't really feel an attraction to Kaho, but the older man seemed to like him so he didn't usually stop him.

He nodded. "Then first thing to do would be to get as many into school as you can." He smiled. "Doing all this I'm pretty sure you'll be well respected," With that Micheal's ears unknown popped out and twitched happily, something that was uncommen for Micheal. It was obvious how surprised he was hearing Taho was 23, being short for his age himself and though mean it was he was glad it wasn't as bad for him. His ears flicked back again at the kiss noticeing Kai didn't seem to enjoy it much but also didnt completely push it away.

Haro frowned softly at the taller teen's remark. He just wished he'd tell him something to possibly look forward to.
"Well, what do you find better about this form?" He asked, twisting the question around quite nicely, or so he thought with a beaming smile.
Getting up slowly, still a bit unsure on his feet, the bright haired male carefully cut himself a piece of really nice smelling bread.

Fiore smiled at all the kids, he greeted them all with a smile. "school is needed yes, i can help there. i no the principal of a nearby school. If i explain the situation, im sure he'll help get the all caught up." he said with a happy smile

"Are you sure he could do that Fiore.I mean the youngest here is twelve.He should be in fifth grade or higher shouldn't he?" he asked, questioning how Fiore could get thirteen kids into school.He noticed Michaels eyes flicker towards him when Kaho had kissed him.He blushed a bit and acted like he was hurt."why'd you have to do that Kaho?You know I've told you a thousand times not to kiss me.".Kaho started to rebel until he caught on."Sorry Kai." he acted sorry but it really made him feel more excited about it.

Kai wondered for a moment what Fiore had meant by that."If you're sure.What can I do to help you get them into the school.I mean I'm sure that some one would need to know that these kids have more than one person taking care of them. wouldn't they?I mean one person taking care of thirteen kids isn't going to be very convincing." he didn't want to lose his kids but he knew that they'd be better off if he could find people who would be able to care for them better than his gang could.He thought about it and made a quick decision, some thing he was famous in his gang for being able to do, and almost always being right."If anyone asks, we're from an orphanage and we're hoping that they can meet children there whose parents might adopt them." some of the kids and even Kaho gasped rather loudy at that comment."Look guys.I don't want to lose any of you, but I cant take care of so many of you.You'll be better off with a family that can take care of you.I promise though, that no matter what, any of you that might find better places to live, I'll come check on you all the time.I don't plan on forgetting the kids I practically raised.Neither do any of the older boys but we can manage by ourselves.I want you little ones to live a good life, not one like ours.We grew up like this because no one wanted us.We're giving you the chance to find someone who does want you." his eyes were filled with tears when he finished speaking and so were the older boy around him.All six of the boys walked inside with the kids since t was gettign dark.They quickly put the kids to bed and stepped back outside."What can we do though?" he continued as if nothing had interupted him.

Shin was right, their animal forms were much too different...of course he liked his human form better...
He wasn't exactly sure what a poacher was, but by the comments that followed Haro assumed it wasn't something or someone good. He would never have to worry about such a person though, because lovebirds were a common enough bird and birds in geneal, even if they were rare were not usually killed for their feathers or any other such atrocities.
"I...guess this form isn't so bad," the teen murmured, after all he had met Shin whereas he wouldn't have, "It's just...hard getting used to," he added with a delicate smile before taking a small bite of the fresh bread.

Fiore tilted his head to the side in thought "you know Kai, i might be able to get them in school and stay with you at the same time." he tapped his lip with his finger "but i'll need a list of who they are, how old they are, where you found them and how long they've been with you"

"Really!?" Kai sounded a bit more excited about the prospect than he'd meant to."You really think you could do that?" he asked and quickly motioned for one of the boys behind him to come up.He whispered something to him and he smiled and ran inside."That's Kaho's little brother Kohaku.He kept record of each of the kids when they first joined us.He's got just about evrything we know about all of them written down.He keeps all of it in his room.Unfortunately, like most of us, it's not very easily read due to his inability to write effectively.If you can read it though, everything we know about them all is rigt here." he said handing the papers to Fiore as Kohaku had just gotten back.It was in an old battered file folder and looked like a few rats had gotten ahold of the folder."Sorry about the condition it's in but my rooms always a mess."
