Personally, I love turkey vultures myself. There were a pair that I used to feed once a week at an animal rehabilitation center (they were resident animals) and I adored them. They were so awesome, I still miss them and I haven't worked there in eleven years lol.

we get turkey vultures out here, too.
they're much less annoying that the turkeys, who enjoy sitting in the road on front of your car.

How do you know what your Animal Spirit is?
I have read everything but it isn't clear to me what my Animal is.
Can anyone shine some light on the subject for me?

A good book on it is Ted Andrew's Animal Speak. Basically though some people find it through mediation exercises, some by the animal they feel the most kinship to, there is no right or wrong way to find it if you do.

So, does that mean that, if I feel like I have a very strong attraction and bond to cats, does that mean they might be my spirit animal? I even talk to them sometimes and they listen to me. XD

nope. the awesome thing about this religion/branch of religion is that you do whatever feels right, and not what someone else tells you to do. who're you dedicating yourself to, out of curiosity?
lately, i've found a strange attraction to the goddess Rhiannon, although i haven't dedicated myself, nor has she given a sign. maybe it's just all the welsh mythology i've been reading. ^^;
