Trajedie caught the book and looked down on it in confusion. She set it to the side and went to the staff.

"Don't touch it yet" Air said leaping down stairs another stack of books in her hands. "You would think that mages would be organized" she said running her hands through her hair. Air sat down and rested her head on some books "I wish Michel were here".

Draxis, previously gazing with curiosity at the various trinkets in the room, with no desire to garner attention to the books. He eyed Trajedie as she entered the room, focused on the staff. It seemed to him that she was worried that the staff could be used to cause further harm...he was too. It may have been paranoia, but safety came first. "Keeping tabs on t'staff? Doubt anyone'd use it for malignant purposes, but better to be safe than sorry, as they say."Air entered the room again, and sat down. He once again turned his attention to the trinkets around the room. "Seems like you've got a sob story, lass."

The healing orb was destroyed before Trajedie could get to the last 3 soldiers.

Air'Gen finds a few books on magic items: "Magic items of today", "Create your own magic item", "Magic items and safety".. and some extra books on how to program magic items, charge magic items and even one on destroying magic items.
(( Sole partitions/bindings? Could you explain? I might just be tired, but I'm a little lost here ))

Myia got to feet and looked down at herself. "Oh great, I'm covered in blood." She stretch out and looked at Korsu. "Thank you." She put her hand in her pocket and pulled out the silver that she had stolen from him earlier. She then cleans the silver and hands it to him. "Here. You earned it back." She smiled wildly as she picked up her sashes and went back to the hotel to clean up.

The night was getting old, the guards was now walking the streets along with some villagers, picking the armour pieces up from the streets.

Jayrus had found Draxis' swords, and had carried them with him to the hotel, aiming to retrieve any of his belongings before heading to the tower. ''My word, this place took a beating... I wonder if there's even any point in looking?'' He asks himself. His ears twitch slightly as he hears someone approaching from behind. Turning, he see's Myia, his expression softening. ''You're ok! Thank goodness... I.. Thank you. I'm not sure if I would have had any chance of survival, had I been hit. I can't imagine how painful it must have been... I... I owe you a great debt.'' He says, before getting down on one knee, kneeling before her.

Myia walked in and saw that other people where there. She was in a bit of shock when he thanked her. "No problem." She smiled brightly. She looked at him when he kneed in front of her. "Oh." She put her hand behind her head. "Well I am just glad that your okay." She said. "I will see you latter. I need to clean up." She said before she started to walk. "Oh wait. My name is Myia. May I know yours?"

Trajedie looked up as the others spoke to her. She nodded to Draxis and went over to him. "I want to make sure that it won't corrupt another magic user to do anything horrible like was done earlier. I have heard tell of such a thing happening to the most innocent magic users. That's one reason why, even though I am an elf I decided to stay away from it." She then waited to hear the other wood elves response to Draxis' statement.

Air was to out of it to notice the others conversation she was flicking through the books with amazing speed. "Hmmmm" she said holding the book close "That might work" she put the book down and rushed up stairs again.

Making sure the elf had left earshot, Draxis spun around, his face slightly sombre and calm. "In all honesty I'm in two minds about t'whole thing. Part of me just wants the blasted thing destroyed right now...But if there's a chance we can learn more about this incident, I'd spring on't it too." Lowering his voice, he moved closer to Trajedie, eyeing the staff with a look of curiosity and wariness. "Problem is I've little faith in the elf to discover anything, let alone actually follow any orders I'd give...My instinct tells me we need to take the bugger to someone with a lot of experience."

"We don't have time for that" Air said running back down a quill in her hand. "I know you don't trust me" She said getting a knife out. "Right the only way we can discharge destroy or control the staff is by proving its owner is dead" she offered the knife to Draxis "You don't use magic in any way. yes?"

Draxis took the knife, spinning it's handle in his hand, looking the elf in the eyes. "I'm a Templar. I use magic as a means of extinguishing magic. It's closer t'energy than anything arcane though."
