Lucus quickly gave a look to Vemp, "I am like a giant twig woman." His attention returning to Cameron he crossed his arms, "When did this occur? By Lance's wishes I am to investigate because both and Vempyremon insist that there is something that sent him off his rocker and into a mindset in which he would decide it was alright to rape a woman." He gave a harsh breath, "As for moving Akita she will be much safer at the manor than at home when she finds out what Kain has done. At least in the manor we will be able to keep him away from her if that is what she so wishes until she grasps the situation fully. She will not be moving from where she is and Ca-Talia is to keep an eye on her.. even if she is blind.. She is fully capable of the task."

Lanie stared at Artistocramon and let out a shrieking scream not expecting anything or anyone to appear, "IT'S GUNNA GET US MISTER LANCE!!" She quickly made a dash into the room to look for cover. "Don't let it!"

Akita couldn't help but laugh at the scene in front of her. "Geeze Big Green, you nailed two birds with one stone there."

Lucus stood there for a moment taking in everything that had been said. He tried to piece things together word by word in his head. Everything said since Vempyremon's return earlier up until this point in time. "I assume then if I am to understand what has happened.. You gave Kain this vial to deliver to a specific somebody. He obviously being the thick skulled moron he is failed to do so and drunk it himself. It then sent him mentally back to a point in his life when it was still just he and Vempyremon. In that state of mind he forced himself upon her.." He seemed to himself at least to have it figured out. Despite that he was in no reasoning to forgive Kain even the slightest bit. Potion or otherwise all of it could have been avoided if the dolt had just done as he'd been asked and taken it to who was to be the drinker.

Lanie stood her jaw dropped as she stared up at Kain, "Mister Lance.. Miss Akita... It's the boogy man.." She stood there completely in shock as Akita shifted her position to sit up properly. "Kain..I.. I'm sorry I left without notice. Lucus wouldn't have it any other way. He said it was urgent. Before I could get a word in with him though he went with Vempyremon to escort her to the doctors.. She seemed in bad shape from what I saw..." She raised a hand to brush a bit of hair out of her face.

Lucus sighed, "I am glad she isn't in worse condition in the end.." He walked over and reached out to run a hand through her hair. "In the case of pregnancy we have already talked.." Lucus bit his lip somewhat and remained quiet for a moment, the thought stung more than Vempyremon's punches, "In the case of a pregnancy.. the child will know me as it's father..It is to not see Kain." He knew there would indeed come a time the child would find the truth but.. at least in the beginning he knew that would be best.

Akita shifted her position further to be sitting on the edge of the bed. Using the night stand table to help her she got to her feet. "I haven't the slightest idea as to why I was brought here.. But that time will be soon enough." The burden of the weight seemed to take a lot out of her just standing up. "Whatever it was that Lucus wanted can surely wait." Taking a deep breath she carefully waddled her way over to Kain. "I do not wish for you to miss the birth of your children.. I will leave with you now if you wish."

Lucus understood what Cameron was saying but shook his head. "It must be done. For the child. And for everyone's sake for that matter. Those who know will know. But the child shall not." He wanted to add the words 'until the time for the truth arises' but he held the back. He arched a brow at Vempyremon's sudden interest in the mysterious back door. "I suppose it is a curious door. Do you preform some sort of dark arts behind there? Necromancy? Voodoo? Conjuring dark spirits from beyond like some dastardly fiend?" Lucus teased with an odd smile on his face.

Lanie was at a total loss once again as she looked at Lance and his delayed response to hair fear before returning to stare at 'the boogy man'. Akita on the other hand returned Kain's kiss before resting her head on his shoulder, her exhaustion from having come all the way here somewhat more obvious. She let her eyes close somewhat as she rested against Kain in his arms. "You don't seem in the best shape yourself with these small wounds all over.." She didn't bother to question him though, she was far too tired to bother.

Lucus raised a brow as he was led to the door, "Um yes.. we will be in contact..." He reached the door and began to undo the locks himself seeing as Vempyremon seemed like she wanted out quite quickly all of a sudden. Lucus himself just wanted to get home to make sure Lance and Lanie hadn't burned his house to the ground. He'd be furious if he'd lost his home... again.

Akita returned Kain's affections, a smile on her face. Lucus could be back at any moment for all they knew. "Kain.. the quickest route.. without notice.. Follow this hall here. There will be a door. It leads to a stairway which will lead out into the fields behind the manor. Nobody should notice if an exit is made from there. It is an emergency exit and entry of sorts." She pointed with a somewhat limp arm. She knew this passage fairly well since it is how she had to access the manor in the earlier days. It was quite a distasteful thing to have an outcast in a Royal's home after all.

Lucus raised an eyebrow as he undid the last few locks, "Isn't he a bit ... Oh that is rude of me to say even I know that. A friend? I suppose everyone does need a friend in the end. Somebody to talk to. As long as he doesn't try anything funny I'll allow it." Finally getting the locks undone he pulled the door open without even a final look. "And as long as I don't have to be lectured by him again. Now, come come. I still have yet to speak to Akita about this matter!" Of course he lacked the knowledge that she would be gone by the time they returned home.

Akita continued to give him instructions in further detail about the little secret way in and out. It was a convenient little thing that had been worked into the new design of the manor. She stroked her stomach off and on saying soft words speaking to the unborn babies. Even if they wouldn't understand it gave her comfort to know they could at least hear her voice. "I hope to meet them soon.. my precious little ones.." A slight blush came across her face, she was obviously completely distracted even though they were in the end in the middle of trying to get out before Lucus made his return.

"A pager?" Lucus questioned, "What may I ask is that?" Apparently he wasn't exactly up to date with all of the new gadgets and gizmos out there. He didn't even had a cell phone to his name like some of the other nocts did. Finally leaving Cameron's.. "domain" as Lucus would have called it, he headed off in an almost speed walking pace, "Already in labor? Seriously? You think?" He cringed at the thought of her being in labor with the only "useful" person in that situation being Ca-Talia who was blind.

Finally returning her focus to the escape she continued to usher directions to lead Kain and herself out of the manor. "The next door will finally lead outside. From there a shortcut can be taken through the back field into the words or you can cut through the garden and hope to not be seen." On her own back when she worked for Lucus she had always taken the garden route, partially because the risk was fun and.. because she enjoyed the sight of the flowers especially in spring.
