There was a quiet knock on the door and Elia stepped in. Terrion could see the change the decision had brought to him. She remembered his face clearly from the two years before, a time span that most would've forgotten a person over. He looked just like he had those years ago. Suddenly, her heart melted at the sight of him and she jumped from the couch. Elia looked slightly concerned, but didn't move. Terr rushed over to him and hugged him tight, tears streaming from her eyes as she burried her face in his travel worn shirt. It was green, just like his eyes.
"I-I want to tell you something, E." She said, using the old nickname that she had given him. "I-" She stopped as a sob escaped her throat. Elia shushed her quietly.
"What is it, T?" His voice was thick with concern, but gentler than ever.
"I love you!" Terrion hugged him tighter and he grunted. "Sorry. I won't-"
"No, no, it was a good grunt. I love you too, Terr, and I always will protect you, no matter the cost." His voice was laced with happiness, excitement, even. They stood there for a few momnets and Elia finally lead her to a window that looked out to the snowy beach. The sunset was beautiful. Terrion wrapped her arms around him and sighed, content.
"If only Aun was dead. Then I would be happier. But this is the happiest I've been for a long time."
"Me too." He kissed her softly, and this time, Terr didn't flinch.

Nova dropped his hands, but his eyes were still closed. "It was my fault he died...It was always my fault...." He whispered. "If I had gotten rid of those things earlier, he never would've needed to die. I could've saved him..." He slumped to the ground. "I could've...Prevented....All this...."

Eve watched Nova. She was shocked. Brother? BROTHER?!
"No, it was my fault. I killed him." She sighed, "I feel I must tell you who I am. I am Eve Blackwood, Egil's wife."
Eve looked at the monster that shook violently. "Please do not be frightened my friend, I will do you no harm." The monster nodded.
Eve turned back to Nova, "I delivered the strike that killed him. If you really are his brother, then you must be almost as old as I am." Eve wasn't sure what to make of this, so she asked a question she had been wondering about for a while. "Why do you still obey your father?"

Ben hugged Zoe, rocking back and forth slowly. "Zoe, its just you and me going tonight." HE said, and she closed her eyes. "No, we all owe Aun a visit." She said. "Yes, but me and you are going tonight." He said, still rocking back and forth. "No." She said. "Your so stubborn Zoe, you know that? I could never get you to do anything you didn't want to." He said, laughing. "I thought that was a good thing about me! Now you make it sound like its going to get me killed." She said, nudging him in the ribs with her elbow. "It might, or it might just keep you alive." He said, shrugging. "Lets hope it keeps me alive." She said, never opening her eyes. "I'm sure it will, your to stubborn to give in to any bargain." He said, laughing. Zoe stood, pulling Ben up with her. "I'm going into Eve's house, you need to come in, Ill put something over your thigh, it looks like it hurts." She said, pulling him gently back down the beach. She glanced around when Eve's house came into view. Ben rubbed his bleeding thigh. "Where did you get that?" She asked him. "You." He laughed. "Oh Ben! Im so sorry!" She said, walking up to the house. She tapped the door to make sure she wasnt intruding on anything. She tapped harder, and louder to make sure they heard her.

Smiling, Terrion called out, "Come on in, Zoe, it's no bother." Elia kissed her again and she sighed happily. "No bother at all," she said more softly. Since Elia was a couple inches taller than her, he rested his chin on her shoulder, slightly bent over. He held her around the waist, gently. Terr blushed for a few seconds. "You know, E? I've never had a boyfriend before, just a boy friend..." Elia smiled. "I've never had a girlfriend before, just a girl friend..." he replied with a soft chuckle. "We'll learn together."((BTW, this is sort of what I think Terr to look like: Terrion, but she has blue eyes instead of the dark black/purple colorAnd Elia: Elia, but he has darker hair If that helps any))

Nova looked up, a sad smile on his face. "I heard about you. From him. He loved you a lot." He shook his head. "You may have been the one who killed him, yes, but if I had gotten rid of those things before hand, you would'nt have needed to." He whispered and got up. "They possess people, that's how they got control of him." He ground out, fist clenching. After a while he relaxed and looked up at Eve with sad eyes. "No matter what he does wrong, I can not disobey him. I am bound to him, a stronger bond than the one he had over you." He sighed. "No matter what he does, he is still my father and I, his son. It is the law of our kind, have you forgotten?" He asked softly. "While the bond of master to servant can easily be severed, the bond of blood can never be broken." He tensed. "Which is why I'm so afraid of hurting Rogue...." He whispered.

"I understand." Eve nodded. "Even though Egil tried, he could not resist it. However, the bond I have with him is more than that of just a servant. I am Egil's wife and..." Eve shook her head. Why was she sharing these things with him? What if he turned around and betrayed her? She didn't see much point in keeping things a secret when Aun already knew, yet she wasn't sure if she should tell him or not.
She sighed and her gaze dropped to the ground. "Times were different back then." Her mind wouldn't let her think clearly. "I think Egil knew before I did. He would bring me extra flowers and food, but by the time I found out it was too late..."
Nova looked confused. "I'm sorry. She smiled weakly. "It makes no difference now, but I must go back and tell the others. I don't think they will want me to travel with them anymore. Especially now that I know the amount of danger they are in just by being close to me." She shook her head. "But now I must face Aun. It is the only way.

Nova nodded. "It is the only way, yes. But it is not a way that has to be walked down alone." He gave her a small smile. "The others are stronger than you know, and they'd want to stick with you no matter what." He chuckled, but then froze. The monster at Eve's feet twitched. "They're coming..." He whispered, and suddenly turned to Eve, eye's fierce. "Go! Warn the others. More of them are coming." He pointed at the monster. "On second thought." He grabbed both Eve and the monster and teleported to the house. He set them upright and let go. "Oi! It's not safe here anymore!! Ben! Elia! They're coming!" Rogue jumped back into the building. "Wait, what are you talking about??" She asked. Nova grabbed her arms. "Roux, they're the ones who burned down your town! They're coming here!!" He said urgently. Rogue froze. "Wh-wha-?!" Nova tugged her along. "There's no time to explain now! I need to get everyone out of here!!" I couldn't save Egil.....At least let me save my friends and the one I love.....

Elia took one glance at Nova and took Terrion's hand. Wait.. What?
"Get on my back, Terr." He ordered. Terrion stumbled over her words.
"Wait, wha-?" Elia gave her a pleading look.
"Just trust me. I can keep us safe, if you just get on my back. We can work together, just like in the old days." He sighed as she showed some hesitancy and pulled her onto his back and ignored her quiet protests. "Yup, just like the old days. Only with monsters after us this time, not wolves."

Nova grabbed Eve with his other hand. "Is everyone here?? Grab the person closest to you and hold on!" He closed his eyes, trying to block out the sounds that were closing in on them. "He's so gonna know we're with you now...." He muttered and pictured Rogue's old town, or the remains of it anyways. And they were gone.

Eve shuddered. Teleporting had never been her favorite thing to do. "I will release you now. Farewell, my friend." She released the monster.
The monster looked shocked and then nodded.
"Just don't attack us later." Eve smiled slightly.
"I wouldn't dare." The monster disappeared into darkness.
"Where are we?" she asked the others and looked around. The place looked familiar.

Rogue looked around sadly and then back at Nova. "This is......" Nova nodded. "The city of dead angels.....Kailas...." He murmured and Rogue lowered her eyes. "Of all the places you chose to come....It just had to be here..." Rogue muttered and Nova smiled apologetically. "It's the last place he'd expect..." He answered and stiffened. "Someone's here." He turned around and jumped back as a spike of ice exploded out of the ground. "What the?!" Both Nova and Rogue chorused at the same time. A boy with spiked white hair stepped out of the shadows of the crudely rebuilt buildings with his arm out-stretched. "No one is welcome here." He stated plainly and the spike retracted into the ground as the boy lowered his arm.

Terrion slid off Elia's strong back. She cocked her head curiously and surveyed the devestation. She froze.
"That's when I saw those... monsters... Beyond the village... In the forest where I lived. They destroyed that entire part of the forest." Her voice was tight and dry, and her hand clenched and unclenched. "He will pay for this. He will die some day. Soon." She ignored the boy that suddenly appeared and stepped forward and touched one of the crumbling buildings. A spike of ice shot up right between her feet. She looked at the boy with a calm smile.
"Relax, kid. We won't do any harm." The boy's cheeks were somewhat flushed, as if he was embarrassed by not impaling her. The pike receded. Terrion moved toward the boy calmly, and he, obviously terrified now, summoned more spikes. Each of them missed her by centimeters, but she still calmly approached. When she reached the boy, she got on her knees so he wouldn't have to look up. "I said relax. Now tell me, why won't you allow people here? Even those who have already been here before?" She glanced over at Rogue. "Hm?"
Elia looked nervous. He bit his lip and winced every time a spike rose from the ground, barely missing his beloved Terr.
"Why is she so calm? She could be killed!"

"Kailas..." Eve murmured. She didn't like this place and tried to avoid it at all costs, but it was too late for that.
"He will find us here because of me..."
She watched the boy with the white hair approach them. She nodded at what he said. "After what happened here, I wouldn't think so."
She turned to Rogue. "Just my presence here puts them in danger. We cannot stay here long."

Rogue froze. Something about this boy put her off edge. He reminded her so much of her brother. Her dead brother. "Who are you?" The boy stared at her with cold eyes. "My name is Kaien." Rogue flinched. What if this....Really was her brother?! She pushed it out of her mind and turned to Eve. "I go where you go. We are all branded by him. It would be best if we stick together."
Kaien's dark blue eyes swiveled to Terrion. They caught in the light, turning cerulean for half a second. "Enough destruction has been brought here. I do not want to risk the lives of the people still living here." He whirled around and headed back into the city. "Oi! You wait just a-!" Nova tried to run after him, but a wall of ice spikes blocked his way. "I have warned you. Heed it." The boy said back quietly and walked away. Rogue shook her head. "Let him go, Nova." "But-!" "The people of the Lebouvre clan are stubborn." Kaien froze. "This is a trait you should already know of." Rogue turned to Nova and he nodded.
