Helen returned to the cliff, so far this was the only one she hadn't failed yet. Which was surprising since she saw the small explosions go off and the campers fall and she was sure she would have hit a trap by now. Shrugging, she went up to the wall, finding the place she had started the other times and started up.

After one nasty incident of almost falling off the cliff face, Helen finally pulled herself over the edge, huffing and puffing, her arms and legs screaming in exhaustion. Helen just layed there for a minute, trying to get the will to move again back.

As he reached the next rope, he lost his grip, heading down with a splash! He popped his head up from the water a few seconds after landing, and swam back to shore, to the ropes. Maybe he should just start cursing the challenge now. No, that'd be bad luck if he went through it all again.

Serena yipped happily. She did it! YES! Now... Ugh the last course was the hardest. Having already done it though, she climbed onto the log feeling less nervous. One paw after the other.. she moved forward!

User Image
She had stepped onto the log onto to get a seagull to the face, knocking her off. However she didn't stay in that pit long! Those beavers were not happy and she came out as fast as she could to avoid their teeth. She glared at them. They would not beat her! And neither would that jerk with the gun. She got back onto the log, and tried once more to get across. She was determined to complete this!

Serena was running on adrenaline now. She made it through. TWICE! She was going to do this again though. She was going to do as many times as her body would let her! She approached the wires, and down in the mud she went as she began to crawl once more.

After the second time, he finally made it across. With a skip he went to the last part, surprised at there only being just a hollow log, until he saw what looked like a large, white bullet shoot up. Nicky went over to the side, looking for the source. "I--is that a gun!?" It was, and it looked to be shooting .....birds? This was too weird, but he should have expected it. Hoping for the best, he cautiously stepped into the log.

Oh, the curses and swears that came from his mouth this time. In his hurry to get across, he'd slipped himself. Nothing pushed him over. In fact, he would have sworn the beavers were laughing at him.

He steeled himself again. Goddamn log, he was crossing it this time!
WHAT. THE. ********. He didn't even know what happened that time! Shaking with anger, he dragged himself out of the ball pit again and stared down the log.

"This time. I'm crossing you. I'll drop kick any beavers that get in my way!" Scowling, he started again.
He toppled off the log again. Again. AGAIN. Furious, he chucked a ball at a beaver and hurried back over. ******** this. ******** this straight to hell.

Another go.
(( ... >___> Forgot to roll. ))
... This time, he slipped off almost at the end. Axl was at his wits end, surely. He was blaming it all on the beavers. His worst enemy. Surely they were the cause of this.

Pulling himself back up onto the ground again, he stared at the log. Taking a deep breath, he stepped onto it again.
Okay. Now he was nearly in tears. He'd given up trying to figure out why he was falling off the log. Now he was just gonna keep doing it until he got across.

Or killed a beaver. One or the other.
"ABOUT ******** TIME!" he roared as he leaped off the log onto the other side. Turning around, he gave the beaver ball pit a rather suggestive gesture and the finger before stomping back to the beginning. Was he going to try it again? He hadn't decided yet.

User Image Returning from her earlier nap, Annabel seemed collected and cool once more- if not a slight bit sluggish out of tiredness. Dragging herself to her bed had been easy- out of bed? Not so much. Pressing a paw to her mouth to cover a yawn, the girl trudged out toward the obstacle course once more- this time intent on watching her team mates and other campers run the challenge. Padding up next to Chef- Master Chief, in this case, the girl was quiet a moment, simply content to stand next to the larger audio.

"Hello again, Master Chief, Sir." She greeted calmly and quietly, still too drowsy to make any sarcastic comments or gestures. Gaze still held firmly on the obstacle course, Annabel was silent once more- not forcing conversation out of the Chef. If he wanted to talk, he would- if not, she could scurry off, no harm done.

But hell if she wasn't going to try to get the older Audio to stop hating her. That was Chris's job- she didn't need any more faculty out for her blood around here.

Serena was thrilled she made it through that barbed wire. And now she stared up at the cliff with a growl in her throat. She would never forgive it for exploding at her like that! She would do her best to not let that happen again! So she started her climb... not choosing the first path of explosion...

The cliff hadn't been very kind. There were a few times she thought for sure she was gonna slip. She felt slightly better by the fact the face of the rock was wiping some of the mud off. Then, finally after a grueling climb, Carmen pulled herself up on top of the cliff. She fell on it wheezing and sweaty. Now, she was covered in mud and sweat. With two more challenges, noone would want to be near her after this probably.

Upon landing on the other side, she almost jumped for joy! She had swung WITH her eyes open that time and made it! Now for this jerk with the gun and the most temperamental beavers she had ever met. Probably the only beavers she had met. Onto the course... she slowly stepped out before trying to make a dash for the other side.

The wind was winding through her dusty, muddy, sweat thickened tresses. She hadn't looked down. She had told herself not to look down. She so didn't want to be seeing the gators whose mouth she was trapped in just the other day... She had all the up close and personal time with a gator she ever wanted to have.

Then, she had made it across. That was amazing! She almost forgot there was still a part to get to yet. She stood there smiling. She did a little happy dance upon landing. No more up close and personal with them nasty buggers! ... Now, onto the hardest part... Carmen ran off. If it was going so well, maybe that would go well too.

Serena was dancing by the end. YES she was getting better and better at this course! She was starting to feel the course runs on her paws and limbs though.. but she had to push through that! Again she ran to the beginning, and got down into the mud. She did her best to watch out for the barbed wire as she started crawling again..

Chef only smirked at Axl's misery. "Heh heh heh! Nice try, boy! But ah wouldn't anger them too much. This is jus' child's play to them!" He was pleased at the amount of trouble that the campers were having over the last bit. Truth to be told, he wanted to use all of the cabin's mascots in this brutal obstacle. Seagulls whizzing by through the air, beavers tripping camper's feet... and sharks waiting to catch them.

Sadly, this sort of even wasn't in the shark's contract. The Union simply didn't allow it for some legal reason or another, so Chef had to make do with a ball pen. Yipee.

When Annabel approached him, Chef merely grunted in acknowledgment. "Here ta watch yer teammates?" He asked, recalling she was the first one who finished his challenge. "Or are yew itchin' ta run it again fer kicks?"

Carmen had posed herself at the front of the log. She stood there watching the others go across. She noted the spots where holes were from people falling through. She then took a deep breath. "It's now or never, baby!"

She had taken off running, but only sometimes touching her foot down. The log wasn't super long. It wasn't as bad as some of those crappy rope bridges you see in some camps. Ones that look like you might break your neck on them. She had to wonder how anyone got them strung up to begin with. This log wasn't like that.

Still, she felt ecstatic to not have had to repeat any of the course. "WOOOOHOO! Yeah baby, take that! Hot damn that was slick!" Then, she stood there thinking... Go again? If she went again, she could try for immunity. If not... she had a perfect record! No failures.. She had come through for the team. If she ran it again, it was for immunity.. and for herself.
