-Mal stopped laughing and pulled the sword out of Strider's back- "Foolish brother." -Mal picked Strider up by the back of the collar and flew up above the town and his voice carried oer it- "Look foolish mortals. Look at your timeless hero. The great and wise Strider the Savior. Defeated so easily." -Mal dropped Strider's limp body and watched as it hit the ground beside the fountain- "Now I shall kill all of you for helping this man. Though there is an alternative. Bow down before me right here and now. Become my people. Help me create a better world....." -Then a man stepped from the crowd. An elder by his age said: "He lies everyone. This man, if you can call him that, does not create worlds he destroies them. I personaly knew Strider. From an age long past. He was the one createing a better world. All you do is kill and destroy at will. You were the evil he was trying to save everyone from. You are a demon." Mal's eyes lit up with rage and he pointed his hand at the man and struck him down- "You knew Strider so now you are dead like Strider! Old man!" -He turned back to the crowd- "Any other objections?" -Everyone looked at each other and began bowing. Those who didn't were instantly struck down by Mal- "Now that Strider is out of the way. Nothing stands in our way. In time you shall learn that I am leanient at times and can be a kind and gentle ruler. As my first command I decree a time of celebration to celebrate the destruction of our truest enemy is dead." -So then everyone celebrated. At first It was quiet and dreary then people got drunk and forgot what they were sad about. By this time Mal had erected himself a throne infront of Strider's body-

Elistral brought her hand up and looked at her brooch, realizing that this was not the time to act for her dead friend. She slipped her arms through the sleeves of her jacket, still stained with blood, and brought her cloak's hood over her face.Verin stood up angrily, almost dashing out into the square himself.Elistral put a hand on his shoulder, stopping him, and shook her head sadly. "We live to fight another day." She said quietly, almost to herself. Verin tried to protest, but his words caught in his throat. He looked pointedly away. "Go back to your foster parents, they're worried." She looked down at Remus, then to Rayne. "Return later Rayne, help Remus." Without waiting to hear what they said, she slipped off into the darkness of the alley next to the bell tower. Verin cursed and sat back down next to the wolf. His foster parents were probably celebrating in that murderer's name.

-Everyone was danceing and smileing by now......except Mal. He just kept watching Strider's body makeing shure his brother would rise again like he had so long ago- "You were a fool brother. You could have helpped me. Then maybe we would both be alive celebrateing. Instead you just cast your life away."
-A note appears in Elistral's cloak in a flash large enough for her to see it. The note reads: "Should anyone find this then I have fallen and all is lost. Though there is still hope inside of this book. The secret lies between pages 105-108."-
(oh and just incase that was to criptic it means that page 106 and 107 is inbetween page 105 and 108. As in fused together-

Verin bit his lip angrily and slammed his fist against the wall, regretting it soon. He shook it and decided to head up to the bell, thinking to ring it. He tripped over something sitting on the ground, but caught himself before he hit the stones. Elistral read the letter and looked back the way she came, towards the square. Verin picked it up, Elistral must've dropped it. He ran into the alley, seeing her standing there looking at something. "Here, I think you dropped this." She took Strider's book, and watched Verin walk back to Remus and Rayne. She started to walk, opening the book to page 105. There was no page until 108, because something dropped to the ground. She picked it up, trying to see it in the light from the dark sky. Verin passed Remus, and went through the wooden door and up the stairs. He placed a hand on the bell, then glanced out at the town square.

-The peice of paper lit up and reads: "Hello anyone able to find my book. There is but one chance for your survival and that is me. Though due to the fact that you even have this means im dead or dieing. In that case You have to follow these instruction exactly. 1: Get to my body no matter what. 2: You must fuse the book with my body. I put a peice of my life force into this book. You do this by saying the incantation: Creatus meno Hijsco mino minus. 3: I will live."-

Elistral almost crushed the paper as she walked quickly back to the bell tower. She looked up, seeing Verin standing by the bell. He saw her standing down there and watched as she gave a small nod, indicating to go ahead and ring it. He grabbed the rope with both hands and yanked down, distracting Mal. Elistral ran towards Strider's unmoving body, dropping into a slide to get farther, her hood coming off. Mal stood up, curious but enraged at what he saw she was trying to do. She shoved the book into Strider's still hand, saying aloud, almost yelling. "Creatus menos Hijsco mino minus!"

-The book flashed and dissappeared makeing my body have a slight aura around it but nothing else happened-
Mal: -Mal reached Elistral and picked her up by the throat- "How dare you attempt to ressurect our enemy. You little traitor. You want Strider back so much then you shal join him!" -Mal lifted his fist and it was covered in a black aura- "Now Die!" -Mal thrust but it was stopped and wouldn't go any further- "What?" -He continued trying to hit Elistral but then a familiar voice was heard: "Its not nice to hit a lady brother."- "No. Impossible. Your dead." -Strider gripped Mal's arm makeing Mal let go of Elistral to try to get Strider to let go. "Obviously not dead enough."- "Let go!"
Strider:"Elistral get the people out of here. You should leave to. This time im not messing around." -Strider had a determined look in his eye's-

Elistral rubbed her throat with one hand and stood up. "Just don't die again Strider, it would be the third time, maybe more, that I'd believe you were dead." She said in her mysterious way, then ran over to Rayne and helped Remus stand, lurching in the direction closest out of town. "Verin, help me get everyone out of the town immediately." She yelled up the stairs to him. Verin made his way down and pushed past her, trying to find his foster parents. They were, like he thought, celebrating and holding glasses of wine. "We have to get out." They looked at him oddly, but followed his lead when he yanked their arms into a run. Elistral got some help from other Protectors, telling them to leave. Soon almost everyone was out and standing by a wooden cabin to the east of Salim, shivering and confused, being comforted by the family who lived in the house.

Mal: "You never learn do you?"
Strider: "Guess not." -Strider let Mal go and jumpped back immediately because Mal shot lightning at where Strider was standing-
Mal: -Mal followed with his sword ready to strike and Strider blocked it makeing a sonic boom. Both jumpped back from each other. There was no talking because there were no longer any words to be said. Now the real battle began-
Strider:-Both opponants unfolded their wings and took to the sky and began shooting lightning and magic at each other-

Elistral left the crowd and brought Remus into the house. A man, the father of the family, fairly tall with russet brown hair and eyes, helped her take him to a chair.Verin stayed outside, being looked over by his foster parents. "I'm alright. Are you guys okay?" They nodded and the woman took Verin into a big hug."Thank you, Rore" She told him. He shrugged and gestured towards the town. "What's happening, all of a sudden the bell started to ring, then it rang again later."Elistral put a hand on his shoulder. "Something's taking place. And could quite possibly change everyone's view on things."

-They kept fireing at each other then they're magic collided and a big ball of smoke appeared. Mal took this oppertunity and charged through the smake at Strider-
Strider: -Strider blocks and another sonic boom goes off-
Mal: -Mal lifted a hand to Strider's face and shot lightning-
Strider: -Strider had ducked just in time and came up from behind and grabbed his brother under his arms and started to fly up. He continued all the way past the clouds and into the light of the sun- "Now brother. It ends." -Strider drew in energy- "Goodbye.......brother." -A tear came from Strider's eye and Mal's eyes widened in horror and then Strider released the energy makeing a giant ball of energy in the sky and clearing the clouds in the shape of a circle. A loud screech was heard across the town and it got higher and higher and the orb got smaller and smaller until the orb imploded knocking everyone over and destroying the town. The clouds cleared and sunlight steamed-

Verin freed himself from his foster mother's hug and stared up at the sky. The sun was out, and it was no longer cloudy. "Woah..."
Elistral came to the cabin's door and looked out across the area. People were pointing up and talking excitedly among themselves. She placed a hand on the door frame and sighed. "So, it's over." She shook her head then, contradicting herself. "No, it'll never be over. This was just a small part of it."

Elistral ran over to Strider after he fell, supporting his head off the ground.. She tried to take his pulse and barely felt it. Relief and anxiety washed over her, and she couldn't find words to say for a moment. "Will you...be alright, Strider?" Her voice wasn't as calm as it normally was, which meant she was upset.
Verin joined the small crowd as it milled around, not really understanding what was happening. His foster mother gave a small gasp to his right and his foster father just looked on.
