"We're ecologists here to study the ecological niches of Florida." Borovik answered casually, wearing a polite smile, "We have a particular interest in the microbial populations of the Floridian swamps."
He waited patiently for the dockworker to pass him.

The dockworker scribbled it down. "That time of year again, huh?" He finished whatever he was writing, tore off a small section of the paper, and handed it to Borovik. "Here's your proof of ownership on your vessel. Don't lose it or your craft stays grounded. We'll be moving it to Aircraft Storage Block D." With a faint smile, he added, "I don't get why you guys keep doing this. The only news you bring back is inevitably that they still eat flesh." The smile faded. "In all seriousness, though, good luck. I'd hate to see what happened back in 2029 repeat itself."

Borovik took the slip of paper and pocketed it. He offered an appreciative smile.
"Thank you." he said before continuing on.

"The exit is over there," the dockworker added awkwardly.
They exited the landing pad and paused outside. Miriam gave them the address of a shop in one of the overcity's mercantile areas and informed them a contact there would provide transportation; she had a military operation to divert away from their Shadowman, it seemed. Leaving them to their devices, she vanished into a crowd.
Their arrival followed shortly after. The shop, a "respectable" (if you defined the term loosely enough) establishment garishly labeled Harry's Hovercrafts, claimed to be closed for renovation, according to a sign on its door.

Catalena retained a quiet, cool, intimidating austerity, using only her mannerisms to influence the psyches of those around her, and even then keeping the reign she always did on her urge to walk with such brisk authority that she'd turn the heads of anyone with eyes or ears. So she moved with calm collectedness, struck up some gentle, murmuring conversation with Borovik, and kept her eyes on her surroundings. Nothing seemed to go awry.
The dark-skinned woman gave a very subtle grimace of distaste upon viewing their target establishment. Surely, after all that had happened, grandiose luxury was no more under suspicion of treachery than run-down rental shops. "If we must, we must," she said loudly enough for those closest to hear, then turned to Miriam. "Were there more detailed instructions, or shall we just enter?"

After some brief discussion, they entered. The inside was far cleaner than the outside, but still not what one would call top quality. Behind the counter was a woman whose manner of carrying herself would have fingered her as a Tyrgani Black Beret any day... if anyone who had knowledge of them at all would have reason to check if a Black Beret had assassinated and replaced the owner of a run-down rental store within the last few hours.

The Caribbean woman coolly approached the Tyrgani, meeting her eyes and looking for recognition. Regardless, she laid her fingers delicately on the desk between them and asked politely, "Is this where we can obtain transport into the marsh? We have research to carry out, and have been informed we can acquire a vessel here."

"Naturally. I've been informed. This way, if you would." The less-than-covert operative led them to a garage area where a block of metal was on the final end of being converted by Tyrgani nanomagitech into a van-sized hovercraft that would be able cruise above the magic-tainted swampland. Some flies were buzzing around a closet in the corner. "Have fun. Don't die. Try not to lead them back here if you want extraction to be easy. Hope you succeed at whatever you've been sent for." The Tyrgani operative stepped to the door and slapped a button. As the garage door lifted, she pulled out a cell phone and a Black Beret, hit a few keys on the phone as she donned her signature item, and disappeared under a Tyrgani Tactical Chameleonic Unit's field.
Petrov's suit began emitting a homing beacon, indicating his presence to the systems of the hovercraft. It also gave them a warning of the positions of the Coven troops.

"That's that, then. Let's move," Catalena said simply. The last two words were more than reminiscent of one actress's portrayal of a fashion mogul. She got into the van and, assuming all the others had followed, began to familiarize herself with the controls. Once she had an idea of those and the juxtapositions of her enemies and Petrov and finally had ensured those with her were aboard, she navigated her way into the swamps, doing her best to avoid confrontation. Silence was optimal, here.
"Those of you who know things about guns should position yourselves for shooting."
