Ellandra bit her lip, fear creeping up in her for the first time since Faolan had passed out on her before, though this was for an entirely different reason. She glanced around a few times, not letting her gaze rest on the fortune-teller for more than a second or two. She was making him. . . uncomfortable. . .
She didn't want to say this, not at all, but. . .
She dropped her head into her hands.
"I - I can. . . go back to my apartment. . . if - if it would be. . . easier," she said quietly.

Faolan turned to look back at her with large eyes, mouth open. After a few seconds, he blurted out, "Hell, no!" He forgot all about how embarrassed he was or anything else and moved across the bed, quicker than intended, and pulled her into a tight hug. His voice was calmer the next time he spoke. "No, no, love. I want you to stay. Please. I'll take you home in the morning, but stay tonight. With me."

Ellandra leaned comfortably into the hug - even if it was a little too tight, ouch - and anaged to relax again, relieved that Faolan didn't want her to go, as she'd been rather afraid of. Still, she felt rather horrible for upsetting him, and hurried to apologize. "I - I. . . .sorry, Faolan - I . . . . of course I'll stay," she said, guilt and shame seeping from her voice.

"Good. Good. I want you here with me," Faolan said, stopping himself before adding "always" to the end of that. He didn't think she'd want that sort of commitment yet, and he wasn't too sure he was ready, either. Relaxing, he loosened up on the hug a bit and looked down at her. "I'm the one that should be sorry. I didn't mean to make you feel like you shouldn't be here. I just got kind of embarrassed 'cause of . . . well, that. Never had to worry what someone thought of me before. I'm used to them being a loose about stuff as I am. You're different, though. I feel humbled and excited every time we're together. Sometimes I forget that you ain't used to all this and it makes me upset with myself that I didn't think of your feelings. I could never be mad at you, though."

Ellandra nodded a little, still looking rather ashamed of herself as she stared up into Faolan's eyes. "I . . . would. . . would you rather I . . . was more like you, Faolan? I - I'm trying to - to get used to all of this, I am, I'm sorry I'm having trouble," she said in a slightly-quavering voice, embarrassed by her own timidity and how it was affecting her budding relationship with this wonderful man.

Faolan shook his head, ears lowering slightly. "I want you to be yourself, to be the woman I love." He kissed her, chaste this time, and let his head rest down on her shoulder. "I just have to remember to take it slow and let you adjust to this. Have to just savor the moments."

Ellandra smiled softly and closed her eyes, relaxing contently in Faolan's hug. "I'm sorry I'm making this hard for you," she said, though her tone wasn't as ashamed as it had been. "I don't want to be so . . . so easily overwhelmed b-by everything. . ." She paused, opening her eyes and looking at Faolan as best she could when he'd put his head on her shoulder. "I don't know how to - to get past it, though."

"You're not making anything hard on me," Faolan said, then chuckled. ""Well, you are, but I don't think we need to have that discussion right now. He moved his head a bit to look at her better, eyes twinkling a bit. "I want you to not be so overwhelmed, either. What can I possibly do to help you?"

"Faolan!" Ellandra yelped, falling over backwards in surprise - though fortunately that wasn't far since she was still in the fortune-teller's embrace. She bit back a giggle, though, and swatted at the air beside him a bit.
Silly, perverted fortune-teller.

"Hey, now, I can't help the affects you have on me," Faolan laughed moving so Ellandra was lying down on the bed. He'd laid down mostly beside her, but braced his arms on either side of her body so he could lean over her. "Good to know you're in a better mood now, though."

Ellandra was completely relaxed for reasons she couldn't explain - despite the fortune-teller leaning over her. Oddly enough, she was also feeling rather playful, so she stuck her tongue out at Faolan for just an instant. "O-oh, I know you can't help it," she said, smiling.

Faolan shivered slightly with pleasure, then grinned his usual playful smile. "Keep sticking that tongue out at me, lass, and see what happens."

Ellandra smiled up at him again. "I think I want to," she said, her eyes sparkling as she stuck her tongue out again. She wasn't quite ready for some things yet, no, but that didn't stop her from wanting others!

The young man gave a mischievous look, murmuring a small happy noise in the back of his throat, and leaned down--still managing to support his weight with his arms--and kissed her passionately, enjoying the taste of her.

Ellandra squeaked, not surprised by Faolan's actions but startled nonetheless. Still, it was rather enjoyable - though after a moment she somewhat forced the breaking of the kiss, not wanting Faolan to have. . . . u-um, more trouble.... yeah, that was a way to put it, uh-huh. . ..
Breathing a little harshly, she blinked up at him and said, "Y-you know. . . you s-still promised me that d-dance lesson. . ."
No, her voice wasn't shaky at all. She wasn't the least bit overwhelmed.
. . . . Sure.
