Fern grinned. "Well when you figure it out, I want to be the second to know. It such a curious little thing." She smiled and began to walk around with Saberlin again, looking around at the the little stands. There were some interesting craft Stands, but nothing really stood out to her much. She waited until Saberlin was done shopping before suggesting that they head back to the hotel.

Lilly blushed and said "Im so glad.I love you." Lily smiled and hugged him.

"As soon as I uncover it's mysteries, you shall be the one to hear of them. I'll take it to the lab when we return and run some different tests" he confided warmly.

Fed up with browsing and shopping for the day, Saberlin took the lead and began heading back to the car. He was content yet hoping to rest for a while back in their room, desiring some peace and quiet after the hustle and bustle.

Once they reached the shiny black vehicle, he gracefully stepped over and swung the door open for Fern after unlocking it with the press of a button. "I believe your ice cream awaits. Ladies first" he purred, with a slight curl of the lip.

Closing the door beside her with a soft sound somewhere between a thump and a click, he walked briskly around and slipped into the driver's seat, white gloves on the steering wheel as the car was coaxed into life.

As they travelled, he wore a look of amusement upon hearing Fern's words, glancing over at his wife in her current disposition. Sometimes, he thought, she seemed to 'glow' from the inside outwards, radiant and lovely. It would be nice if she could always stay that way.

"Hmm, if I did not know better, I would say those cravings are getting the better of you" he remarked idly, trying to suppress a small grin.

Saberlin's golden furred ears dipped slightly as he pondered her next question, thinking of ways to explain it more easily.

"You see..." he began, dropping into the formal attitude he was most accustomed to, "I can take minute samples from the minerals and organisms coating the surface and analyse them using various methods to test for a variety of things. We can also chip a tiny part off to study the ingredients forming the make up of the rock and finally, cut open the object itself. Those are only a few of the things we would attempt. I'm curious to try growing some of the moss in different conditions as well as exploring it's properties. It certainly is unusual to see it growing in an area where there is insufficient shade, too much sunlight and not enough water." he mused, mind suddenly a million miles away as a plethora of ideas and possibilites sprang up and absorbed his attention.

He was silent for the rest of the drive, apart from occasionally making the odd sound of "Ahh" or "Hmm". In the distance, the Inn began to come into view, quickly growing in size as they approached.

Smiling he held her in his arms and never wanted to let go. Holding her there on their bed, and knowing that they were going to have babies, he couldn't be happier. He was a guy that wanted kid, he loved kids. Smiling he kissed her lips passionately.

The car eventually glided into place in the Inn's reserved parking space and the rumble of the engine died and faded.

Saberlin put the windshield cover on, stepped out and got the door for Fern, then started heading straight away towards the Inn. He was determined to bring the ice cream to her (or she to the ice cream) as soon as he could. Simply because it was something nice he could do and he wanted to do it.

As for where to get such a thing; well, there was the restaurant and the cafe and the buffet. Otherwise they could have it delivered to their room. He stopped and waited in the main lobby until they could decide what to do. "Which kinds and which flavours of ice cream do you desire, my dear? Just say the word and I shall fetch them for you" he offered, tail waving behind him in a comfortable sort of fashion.

He waited patiently throughout the yawning for her to answer, politely pretending not to notice, though his tail tip twitched with a streak of mischief.

"Ah, those sound like fine choices! As for me, I think I'd prefer a lick of mint chocolate chip" he smiled. One of Saberlin's favourites. "Let's just order them from our room. I think it's high time we got out the board games you mentioned earlier and spend the rest of the evening quietly engaging one another in various mental battles"

Somehow his feet had led the way through the Inn while he spoke and he found himself facing the door of their room. After blinking at it a moment, he regained enough wits to fish out the key and unlock it, stepping aside to let Fern go in first.
