"So what are the plans for today? Are we going to have another meeting?", she wondered. If they did nothing too important, she could find a room to train in or somewhere in the garden. That "23rd" had hurt her like hell. It meant to her how weak she really was, not to be able to be in the first ten people.

It's just how much stuff they can cast!" she pointed upwards with her finger, signifying her sudden idea.

"True enough", Kristin agreed with Rydia "But still the more you can cast the stronger your spells will be", she stated. "And I am upset about the number, even though its just a number".

"Well technically... you're 22nd because I shouldn't even be on that list. But either way, I don't think anyone around here has beaten Firomis in a duel. He was born with an abnormal amount of VL anyway. On average, when people with potential magic using capability are born, they only have somewhere between 100 to 5,000 VL capacity. But I heard a rumor that Firomis was born with over 50,000. It's rare to see such an occurance, but it is common amongst the offspring of powerful sorcerers. Though it is sometimes dangerous to the mothers because they can't take the burden sometimes and they die." she frowned.

"50,000?", her eyes were wide with surprise. "Thats a lot. Wish I was like that", she muttered. If she had been that strong since birth, that would have saved her a lot of pain, and maybe her family would still be alive.

"Yeah, but even still it wasn't enough for him to go up against someone like Toren. Especially back then." she sighed. "I was born higher than he was, but I never really used my magic for anything other than to make people happy. Sometimes I wish I could give my powers away to someone else." she jumped off the bed.

"Where to?", she asked Rydia when she saw her geting up. Kristin got off the bed too, yawned and stretched. "Clothes", she muttered to herself and took some to wear.

"Yep! I'll be in the main hall after I change." she said before running out the door and down the hallway. After a short moment she ran back into the room. "Oh yeah... my clothes are in this room." she giggled. "I forgot that this was the room I usually stayed in." she walked into the closet.

"Oh, sorry. I didnt mean to take your room. It was the one closest to the only person I knew in this vast mansion", she apologised and got dressed. "If you want I'll find another one. I bet it was over 50 rooms"

"It's okay. That was the same reason I chose this room too." Rydia came out of the closet after getting dressed also. "We can stay in this one together!" She grabbed Kristin's hand and dragged her out into the hallway and to the main hall.

Kristin felt as if she and Rydia were like sisters. She could tell her everything even though they didnt know each other more than a day. "Where are we going?", she asked her as she tried to keep up with her. Was she always in such a hurry?

"Breakfast!" she exclaimed happily. She dragged Kristin into the dining room and sat down at a table quickly. "Davii!" Davius turned around and looked at her. "I thought you would be in here bright and early as usual. I had the cooks make your usual chocolate pancakes with syrup and caramel chips. They also added whip cream on the top too." Davius smiled as he brought out two plates of pancakes, setting them down in front of Rydia and the seat next to her that was empty, assuming Kristin would eat the same thing. The whip cream made a design on the top of the pancakes that made them look like little kitten faces. "Will you be fine eating this or shall I bring something else, Miss Rain?"
